Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

@PhoenixWhite: it is actually quite hard for me to picture your character showing that much emotion, considering what the picture is for your character. Nothing wrong with your character, just thought I'd voice my opinion.
Seeing nothing but dead trees and zero signs of life, Leander sighed. There was a bit of noise from the others, but Leander ignored that. Instead, he continued his scan of the landscape, and finally noticed the only landmark that was different from everywhere else. Seeing no other reason to stay, Leander began following Reyneld to it. "So," Leander began, trying to make some small talk to Reyneld. "Things certainly don't seem very lively around here."
Looking through the tags, I notice the "Slice of Life" there. Sorry, but I do horribly in those. I'll be taking my leave now bye.
Me either. All I know is that it involves squids/kids and paint guns. And giant paint rollers. And I think the maps are going to be quite big.
After the spell was cast, Leander didn't really feel any different. "Hello?" Leander said, his words coming out as plain English now, but the text bubble still appeared, displaying whatever he said. Oh well, at least he spoke English again. "Yes! Thank you!" Now that was a problem fixed, Leander turned to look at the result of the carnage. It was pretty much what Leander expected: everyone injured and/ot out for the count. One of them even looked, well, dead. Negi was attempting to heal the dead one, so that left the rest for him.

Leander went into the center of the group, then conjured up 5 Heal elements and casted a shockwave healing spell, the wave of healing magic spreading away from Leander and into everyone else within the blast radius. Everyone's wounds healed at a greatly accelerated rate, and more or less disappeared. After the healing was complete, Leander then noticed the short man with the glasses, which he was sure wasn't there before. It seemed like this man was explaining what was going on, so Leander chose to listen. After all, it was very valuable information.

Destroying this "Eden" thing was apparently their task. A rogue creation... but something still felt amiss. Leander couldn't put his finger on it, but he still felt it nonetheless. Leander asked the man, "Why us? Why did you choose us for this task? We weren't even aware all of this existed before we were brought here. Surely you must have had others who could have helped you. After all, I highly doubt a single person could have created this "Eden" thing without any help."
Name: Conna'Cel

Gender: Identifies as Male

Age: ???

Player or creature: Creature

Backstory: Conna'Cel was suddenly brought into existence by the game designers, but was left alone after his design was complete. Conna'Cel often wonders what it was he was created for, but ultimately his role was never really defined. As a result, he spends his time wandering the game as a passive emotionless being who usually leaves others alone, unless provoked to perform some other action.

Other: Beep boop.

Name: Press Dalton

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Player or creature: Player

Backstory: Press has spent most of life either behind a keyboard translating and/or writing code, or with friends having a good time. All in all, a pretty standard life. His parents tend to work most of the day away, which Press got used to and spent his free time doing his own thing. With the appearance of this unknown game, Press was quite keen to get his hands on it and figure out what secrets it held. Little did he know just what had laid in store for him.

Other: Press is about 6' 4". Also, beep boop.
Thinking about it now...is it possible for people to trade cards? Or are we bonded by fate via these booster packs?

I'm under the presumption we can. There shouldn't be any reason for us not to.
So, what exactly are "creatures"? From what I can gather, they are either beings that were created within the game or players who have spent too much time in the game and/or lost their memories.
@Satoshi Kyou maybe you should also post a link that directs us to your cs. None of us want to do extra effort.
Damn pack, knew I should have saved up those 30 points.
