Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

"Sorry, but I'm more of the guy that stands back and deliver long range support," Press said. "So, I'll stay a little further behind." As Press looked around, he saw nothing of significant importance. Just each other and the environment. Of course, that was bound to change.

As everyone kept walking, Press noticed that everything seemed to be... darker. Press wasn't quite sure what to think of it, so he stayed on his guard, turning his head side to side to try to spot an incoming threat. Then they suddenly found themselves under attack by what appeared to be shadows. "Guys, watch for the shadows!" Press warned as the shadows darted around to injure them. Press had no idea what to do in a scenario like this, but it seemed like fate had other ideas.

A wolf had appeared, which made Press jump. At first, he was thinking that another threat had appeared, and tightened his grip on his knife. However, it didn't seem like the wolf was going to attack them. If anything, the wolf was actually helping them, scaring away the shadows. Before Press could say anything, the wolf left after the job was done. Press stared at the spot where the wolf disappeared out of sight, then said, "Ok, that was weird." Press paused for a second, then asked everyone, "Is everyone alright? Nothing life-threatening, right?"
I blame things like SAO for this "Intelligence/Agility" trend.
Oh, guys, a bit of warning. I'm on vacation right now, and will be for the next few days. So, expect my posting to be a bit slow.
I might be interested.
La la la, we need a bit o' activity here.

Static couldn't help but laugh at Nies' response. It was just too funny. Then Jukebox grabbed their hands, which made Static blush in surprise, and started leading them to the sanctuary. No guy ever took her hand, and Static wasn't quite sure how it made her feel. However, she did show mock indignation on the remark about how their hands felt. "Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Megumi asked, really letting the tone of mock indignation show in her voice. However, it seemed Jukebox was preoccupied with something. Static was going to ask him what it was when a loud roar caught their attention.

"What was that?" Static asked as they stopped in their tracks. Jukebox asked them if they wanted to go check out whatever made that sound, and Megumi quickly made her decision. After all, there was some sweet, sweet EXP to be gained. "Sure," Static barely said before Jukebox took off running. "Hey, wait up!" Static called out after him, quickly catching up to him. "Don't get too excited without me and Nies," Static said, flashing a smile at him.

@Ryuzaki, go ahead and post the second half of the Duel once everyone has had a chance to post.
While watching the Duel progress, Yuji and Run heard footsteps behind them. They turned around to see other students from their school appearing. "How did you all get here?" Yuji asked.

"Mostly luck, really," Alexander replied. Alexander looked past the two to see a girl and a man Dueling, as well as another girl tied to a chair. In response to Xavier's question, Alexander said, "I've never seen this man before, but looking at the details here, I think it's safe to assume that our mysterious stranger kidnapped our famous missing student, and things are now being decided through a Duel."

"Yeah, you've pretty much hit the nail on the head there," Jin said. "Yuna's got things under control, though." As if on cue, a blue fireball struck the man and dealt damage to his Life Points.

Megumi interjected, "I don't really get what's going on, but what I do know is that all these cards in this Duel are completely new to me." Alexander took a closer look at the Duel and realized that Megumi was right; he didn't recognize a single card being used in the Duel. The mysterious kidnapper was one thing, but Yuna's cards were also enigmas. He has plenty of questions he wanted to ask, but he knew that they would have to wait until the Duel was over. He didn't want to ruin Yuna's concentration, after all.
Press looked at the knife that spawned in his hand, then at everyone else. His mind was racing at a million miles an hour, attempting to determine the best course of action. Right now, they were in unfamiliar territory, being provided with what hardly equated with starting weapons as well as practically unfair difficulty. If his years of experience in video games told him anything, it was that they should play smart rather than force progress.

"Ok guys, keep your eyes open for any signs of equipment or enemies," Press warned. "Don't stray too far away, and don't try to take on anything by yourself. One mistake could cost us our lives." The concern about lives worried Press, as he didn't know whether they had multiple lives or just one. Press assumed the latter, just to be safe. It was better to play it safe for now rather than risk something just for the sake of knowledge.
