Leander was beginning to feel more and more tired as the endless trek continued on, what with the dry air and the uncertain ashy terrain. Leander was making an effort to keep his footing, so as to not slip and fall. Fortunately, he had his magic staff to rely on and lean upon should his feet fail him.
Speaking of magic, one of the group members began to exhibit unusual properties of which Leander was sure she didn't have before. Regardless, Leander continued on, unfazed by the experience. Another member of the group offered some water, which the others refused. Leander reached out for it and grabbed the flask, saying, "I'll take some, thanks." Taking a mouthful, Leander slowly swallowed the water bit by bit while handing the flask back to Ryneld.
I can't believe I completely forgot about Eklipse's post. Wow, my bad.
Anyway, I like Fairies the most, but they don't seem to be able to compete competitively. I first started playing Yugioh with Spellcasters (SoDM and Secret Village combo), so that also holds a special place in my heart.
I know, I'm not entirely satisfied with it either, but laziness got a hold and stuff. One of the others can deal with the Joshua/Cecile business, and the others go do the police stuff, blah blah blah, then timeskip.
@Satoshi Kyou Well it's not the worst thing I've seen out there, don't worry. I'm sure there are at least some programs out there that can help you fix grammar errors. Try putting what you want to post into Microsoft word or something and have that help you. I have no idea how effective that is, but there should be some improvement.

"Draw!" The man called out, pulling a card off the top of his deck. Again he seemed to take a moment to glance at his hand, almost as if he was stalling for time. "I use 'Call of the Dark Demons' to discard 'Gekkido - Dark Demon of Wrath' to Summon 'Arina - Dark Demon of Lust'!"
Arina - Dark Demon of Lust - Level 5, ATK 2100
A Succubus-like demon apeared before the man, seeming to look lovingly at Yuna's monsters. "When 'Arina' is summoned, I can send one 'Dark Demon' monster from my deck to the grave to add one 'Dark Demon' monster from my graveyard to my hand. I send another 'Faer' from my deck to add 'Gekkido' back to my hand. Then I draw one card from 'Faer's' effect," One card ejected from his Duel Disk, which he quickly grabbed, "And you discard your hand and draw the same number of cards you discarded thanks to 'Gekkido' but I take 1000 points of damage."
Yuna placed her cards in the slot leading to the Graveyard, then drew 3 new cards from her deck.
The Man - 4000 LP --> 3000 LP
"Now! 'Arina', Attack her monster!" The man's shouts echoing in the warehouse.
"I activate my Trap card: 'Blue Fire Wall'!" Yuna countered. "When an 'Azure Flame' monster is targeted for an attack, I can negate the attack, then deal 400 points of damage!" A wall of blue flames suddenly rose up, blocking the path to 'Azure Flame Warrior', and the wave of flame reached over to the man, dealing the damage.
The Man - 3000 LP --> 2600 LP
The man recoiled backward a step from the flames, attempting to brace himself. Once the damage was complete, he regained his posture and said, "Well, that wasn't very nice, now why dont you be a good girl and surrender? 'Karn'! Attack her monster again!" The demon ran up and attempted to swallow the warrior whole. As 'Karn' chomped down, 'Warrior' raised his sword to pierce through. The battle ultimately resulted in each other's destruction, with neither player taking any damage. Immediately afterward, a blue fireball emerged from the Spell card 'Blue Burn' and shot itself towards the man, dealing 300 more points of damage.
The Man - 2600 LP --> 2300 LP
"That's my answer," Yuna responded.
The man looked from the battle up at Yuna, "Your go."
"Draw," Yuna said, drawing her next card. "If my opponent controls at least one monster and I control none, I can Special Summon 'Azure Flame Reinforcements' from my hand!" A small group of warriors with fire emblems on their armor appeared, ready to do battle.
Azure Flame Reinforcements - Level 3, ATK 1400, Phase A
"Next I Summon 'Azure Flame Stranger' in Attack mode!" Yuna said, a mysterious figure wearing a flaming cloak appearing on the field.
Azure Flame Stranger - Level 4, ATK 1700, Phase A
"Finally, I activate my Trap card: 'Burning Sacrifice'! By paying 500 Life Points, I can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower 'Azure Flame' monster from my Graveyard in Attack mode!" Yuna explained. "Appear, 'Azure Flame Booster'!" Another flaming monster appeared on the field next to 'Azure Flame Stranger'.
Azure Flame Booster - Level 4, ATK 1600
"I activate the effect of my 'Azure Flame Stranger'!" Yuna declared. "I can inflict 200 points of damage to my opponent for each 'Azure Flame' monster I control! With 3 'Azure Flame' monsters, that's 600 points of damage!" 'Stranger's arms emerged from his cloak, aimed directly at the man, then a fireball was formed and shot towards the man, dealing the 600 points of damage.
The Man - 2600 LP --> 2000 LP
"Also, while 'Azure Flame Booster' is on the field, all other 'Azure Flame' monsters gain 400 ATK!" Yuna explained.
"Battle! 'Azure Flame Stranger', attack his 'Arina - Dark Demon of Lust'!" Yuna commanded, 'Stranger' firing a stream of flame at 'Arina', who rushed forward, doging the stream. As they got close to each other, both spontaneously combusted and got destroyed.
"My attack continues! 'Azure Flame Reinforcements', attack him directly!" Yuna commanded, the trio of soldiers unleashing a battlecry and charging forward, flaming swords raised to slash away at him.
The man put his hand out, the card he had face-down flipping face up, as he yelled, "'Mirror Force'!" A white wall formed between 'Azure Flame Reinforcements' and the man, destroying all of Yuna's monsters as the 'Reinforcements' collided with it.
Yuna grimed, but did at least get some satisfaction from 'Blue Burn' firing 3 blue fireballs, dealing 900 points of damage.
The Man - 2000 LP --> 1100 LP
"I place 2 cards face-down, then end my turn," Yuna ended.
Turn 5: The Man Yuna: 3500 LP / 0 cards : 0 monsters / 3 Spell/Traps The Man: 2600 LP / 6 cards : 0 monsters / 1 Spell/Traps
"Draw!" the man exclaimed, pulling another card from his deck. "I activate 'Call of the Dark Demons' once again, discarding 'Senbo - Dark Demon of Envy' to special summon 'Gekkido - Dark Demon of Wrath'."
Gekkido - Dark Demon of Wrath --> ATK 2500
"When 'Gekkido' is Summoned, I can destroy one card my opponent controls, and I think that 'Blue Burn' is a prime target." Gekkido appeared to lift his huge arms into the sky above his head and smash them down on the ground sending shockwaves from the impact point over to Yuna's side of the field.
Yuna raised her arm to shield herself from the force of the blast when 'Blue Burn' was destroyed, but was not saddened by its loss. It had served its purpose.
"When 'Senbo' is sent to the Graveyard from my hand, I can Special Summon one monster from my opponent's Graveyard, but its effect is negated the turn it is Summoned, I choose 'Azure Flame Booster'!" Yuna's monster rose up in front of the man, but now he had a mark on him that was shaped like the symbol for Taurus. "Now! 'Senbo', attack Yuna directly!"
"Trap card, reveal: 'Reject Reborn'!" Yuna countered. "This card negates your attack and ends the Battle Phase, then I have to destroy all monsters I control and Special Summon monsters from my Graveyard equal to the amount of attacks I negated this turn!" A card ejected itself from her Graveyard, which Yuna took and played on her field. "Appear, 'Azure Flame Protector'!" Yuna said, a flaming golem appearing on the field, crossing its giant arms in front of it.
Azure Flame Protector - Level 4, DEF 2000, Phase B
"Alright, then I set one card and end," the man said, seemingly satisfied.
"Draw!" Yuna declared, drawing her next card. Upon examing it, she had a sudden urge to Summon it, then use it to Summon something else. Why she felt like so, she didn't quite know, but she trusted her instincts. "I Summon 'Azure Flame Reinforcements' in Attack mode!" Yuna said, the trio of soldiers appearing on the field.
Azure Flame Reinforcements - Level 3, ATK 1400, Phase A
Yuna's monsters were ready now. "Using my Phase A 'Azure Flame Reinforcements' and my Phase B 'Azure Flame Protector', I construct the Phase Shift Fusion Network!" Yuna declared, the two monsters transforming into 3 and 4 starry orbs, respectively, then heading into the purple galaxy that appeared overhead. As blue flames burst forth from the center occasionally, Yuna chanted, "With your flames burning blue, unleash them on the world! Show them your might, and engulf the world! Phase Shift Summon! Level 7! Show your Flames, Azure Flame Phase Shift Dragon!!!"
A blue flaming meteor descended onto Yuna's field, crashing into the ground and spreading the flames. The blue flames soon dissipated, and revealed a blue dragon with blue eyes, which roared as it was revealed. Two small dark orbs orbited around the dragon, similarly to an Xyz monster's Overlays, but unlike those, whose orbiting paths crossed, the paths for the orbs on the dragon were completely parallel.
"I activate my Trap Card: 'Graveyard Shift'! While I have at least 1 Phase A and 1 Phase B monster in my Graveyard, I can Phase Shift Summon using those monsters, but they are banished when they are removed from the monster I Summoned." A sly grin appeared on the man's face, "I tap into the Phase Shift Fusion Network using 'Senbo - Dark Demon of Envy' and 'Faer - Dark Demon Of Greed'!" Two sets of 5 stars flew out from the man's grave and up into the same galaxy-like form above them. A wall of fire rose around them, completely encompassing the duel. "Bringer of evils, Harbinger of woe, King of sins. COME FORTH! 'Azrael, King of the Dark Demons'!" as the man spoke, suddenly a huge fissure opened before him, a monsterous demon using its 10 arms to climb from within. It towered above everything but the dragon which it opposed.

"When Azrael is Summoned, his level becomes equal to the combined levels of the monsters used to Summon him. Since I used 2 Level 5's, his level becomes 10."

Yuna was stunned. The event that just took place in front of Yuna and the others, Phase Shift Summoning from the Graveyard without it even being his turn, seemed so impossible, yet it was. However, Yuna recovered from her shock and realized that even with a monster like that out now, the man she was Dueling was still doomed to lose. "It doesn't matter what you do now, because you're still going to lose!" Yuna yelled. "I activate the effect of my 'Azure Flame Phase Shift Dragon'! By banishing my 'Azure Flame Captain' from my Graveyard, my dragon gains half of my 'Captain's' ATK and DEF!"
"Go, 'Azure Eyes', attack 'Azure Flame Booster'!" Yuna commanded, 'Azure Eyes' jumping into the air and releasing a stream of blue flames from its mouth, engulfing 'Azure Flame Booster' and depleting the last of the man's Life Points.
The Man - 1100 LP --> 0 LP
The man scowled, then ran off to the other side of the room, where there was a second door leading to the outside. Yuna screamed, "Hey, wait!" and tried to run after him, but Yuji grabbed her shoulder and held her back.
"We have the guy's description. It'll just be a matter of time until he's caught," Yuji said. "As for everyone else here," Yuji continued, turning to face everyone. "Call the police. We'll get the girl back to school and get the principal to call off the lockdown."
Jin went over to the girl and removed her gag, then said, "Don't worry, you're safe now." while untying her from the chair. The girl merely nodded and said, "Thank you."
Michelle made an effort to endure the sweltering heat. It was only an inconvenience in the journey, albeit a very uncomfortable one. She had made her decision to come to this Duel Academy, and she was not about to let a mere temperature ruin it for her. That being said, though, once the bus finally stopped and directions were given, Michelle went ahead of most of the others into the building, where it was thankfully air-conditioned. Michelle then began following the blue line as instructed and went into the elevator. A short period of time passed as she waited for the elevator to take her to their intended floor.
Getting out of the elevator, Michelle went over to the seemingly uninterested teacher who explained about the decks and packs. Looking over the choices, Michelle eventually said, "The Knights of Light structure deck, and the Duelist Genesis pack." After the cards and Duel Disk was handed to her, Michelle went off into.the stands and took a seat, then opened her box and pack of cards and started looking through them. The pack contained only cards useless to her current structure deck, but perhaps they could become useful in time.
