Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

Leander beamed with delight to find Shinrei talking back, seemingly oblivious about Shinrei's coldness towards him. Step 1 of his friendship-making plan was a resounding success. Next was to execute step 2: invite them somewhere to have fun. Leander could picture it in his head...

Back to reality however...

"Is there something you want from me?" Shinrei asked coldly, which Leander was all too happy to respond to. This is my chance," Leander thought. Out loud, Leander replied, "Yup! Let's go get breakfast! I hear it's goooood." Admittedly, Leander had no idea whether the last part was true or not, but there was no need to tell Shinrei that. All that mattered was that Shinrei said yes.

Name: Kimberly Juno

Age: 13

Personality: Short-tempered and prideful, Kimberly is your typical tomboy. She is adventurous and daring, sometimes to the point of recklessness. However, she does think and act quickly during times of stress. That being said, Kimberly can be quite friendly with other people, easily striking up conversations with other people. She also displays a strong sense of justice, usually seeing issues as black-and-white.

History: Kimberly started as a normal kid, living a normal life with normal parents. She performed slightly above average in school, had her own share of friends, a lived in a normal home. There was nothing that labeled her as too odd or weird. Her parents had enough money to live a comfortable middle-class life as well. All in all, a good life.

At the age of 9, though, was when she first began noticing something wrong with her. Certain things tended to stick on to her, metal things she touched sometimes became slightly magnetic for a while, sometimes she gave people static shocks, even certain machines acted oddly around her. She tried to figure out what was going on in her own time, and eventually found out that she was somehow affecting electricity. If she concentrated hard enough, she found out that she could control it, and even generate some herself. She began to experiment with her new found ability over the years, attempting to better control and understand what it was she could do.

One day, in the middle of the night, Kimberly was woken up by a strange sound. She got up to figure out what was going on, and was grabbed by a burglar, knife near her face, before she could react. As the burglar began to question where the money and valuables were kept, however, Kimberly instinctively released a discharge of electricity, stunning the burglar and rendering him unconscious.

After contacting the police and having them take the burglar away, Kimberly decided to reveal to her parents her ability. Needless to say, they were quite surprised to see their daughter giving off electricity. Slowly, though, they began to accept it, and it was kept a secret from others. Later on, Kimberly heard rumors of people also displaying unnatural and extraordinary abilities, and the Next Generation camp that was for people like her. Naturally, Kimberly was interested and begged her parents to let her go. They were reluctant, but eventually decided that it was for the best.

Powers/Abilities: Electrokinesis
You'd think there'd be separate showers for boys and girls even in the Earth dorms...
Time to annoy someone that most likely will not want to be annoyed.
Leander lazily opened his eyes when the loud announcement came through. He was used to loud announcements from his family to wake up, and although this one was much louder than his family, he didn't mind it too much. Flipping over onto his stomach and crawling on his bed over to his deck, he picked up the D-ceiver to look at the time. Too early, Leander thought as he pushed away the sheets and got up from the bed. Yawning loudly, he went to the sink to get ready for the day.

Leander put on one of the Light blazers above his black-and-blue pajamas, placed the D-ceiver into a pocket, and went outside, still half-asleep. He began to make his way to the cafeteria to get some much-needed breakfast. Leander hoped that there would be something good. Leander then spotted someone, and decided to make his first friend here (or at least try to).

"Hi!" Leander said to Shinrei with a goofy smile on his face. "Great first day here, am I right?"
Sorry, I've lost interest, so I'll be dropping out.
"I'm leaving now," Conner said as he left for school. It was just another typical day. School, then home, then whatever else needed to be done, then school again and so on. The endless cycle of normal every day life. Conner liked that. Everything was kept track of and perfectly fine. On a day like this, what could possibly go wrong?

"Heeey! Conner, wait up!"

Oh yeah, there was also that, Conner thought as Kimberly caught up to him. "Hello to you too, Kimberly," Conner greeted his childhood friend. Kimberly flashed him a smile and began some small talk, "So, Mom asked me, again, if I wanted to skip another grade. I keep telling her, 'No, Mom, it's ok. Conner's not skipping, so why should I?'"

"I know I've told you this before, but you don't have to hold yourself back just because I'm not moving ahead," Conner said. "I'm sure you'd be in better places by now, too."

"I never asked you before, but, why aren't you skipping ahead?" Kimberly asked. "I know you're smart enough to do it, maybe even skip high school altogether." Kimberly reached over to grab Conner's hand, but the moment they made contact, there was an audible zap, and Conner pulled his hand away reflexively. "Ahh, jeez, are your hands still discharging static?" Conner asked in annoyance.

"Yeah, sorry. I was kinda hoping that that would've gone away by now," Kimberly said guiltily. "Um, anyway, back to my question. Why aren't you skipping?"

"I just don't feel any need for it," Conner said. "Sure, it's great academically to skip ahead, but I also need to think about other things in life, y'know? I mean, I certainly don't want to be seen as some oddball because of it, and I would'nt have much else to fill my days if I didn't go to school. I doubt many people would want to hire a 14-15 year old kid for a full-time job or anything either."

"So basically you're too lazy to do anything else," Kimberly summarized teasingly. "Shut up," Conner said as he looked away, which earned him a small giggle from Kimberly.
After Christmas??? We'll be OLD then!

Jk, enjoy the holidays.
Umm... how about a character sheet?
@Satoshi Kyou Apologies, it's very easy to get the two mixed up.
