Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

<Snipped quote by EviiPaladin>

Yeah... add me to this conversation, because I do not trust Evii to cover all the bases here.

Same here. I wanna hear this.
Kimberly tightened her grip on Conner's jacket as the raccoon was regurgitated. Conner took a step back, grabbing Kimberly's arm as he did so. Then came the reprimand and the apology from Xercas. After those two had introduced themselves, Conner was still hesitant about them, but knew intellectually that the Serpentine guy was probably just a bit... lacking in manners. Conner could guess why Harold was called Serpentine. Ignoring the cobra that was now eating the raccoon, Conner reluctantly said, "Charmed."

Recovering from her initial shock, Kimberly emerged from being Conner and stared at the cobra swallowing the raccoon in wonder. Returning her gaze to Xerces and Harold, Kimberly said, "I'm Kimberly, and the broody guy here is Conner." The last remark earned her an elbow tap to her shoulder from Conner, which earned him a smirk from Kimberly.

"I'm assuming you're here for the same reasons we are, right?" Conner asked the two, taking precautions before mentioning any names. He didn't want any repercussions for not being cautious, after all.
Conner sighed as he was done getting dressed. It was a beautiful day outside. The birds were singing, the flowers were blooming...

Tap tap. "Hey Conner, open the window!" Kimberly said, the window closed and hidden behind a curtain.

...and Conner's never-relenting bundle of joy was just outside. Going over to the window, Conner removed the curtain and unlocked it, allowing Kimberly to climb through. "Kimberly, how many times have I told you to use the front door, and not the window to my second-floor bedroom?" Conner asked.

"Too many times to count," Kimberly replied cheerfully, knowing full well how Conner felt about it, which was why she kept doing it. "So, you ready to go?" Kimberly asked, visibly excited about their destination.

"Ready as can be," Conner replied.

Together, the two kids left the house, making their way to the Teen Titans headquarters. Kimberly walked behind Conner, humming a small tune as they walked, while Conner kept staring at his GPS device to make sure that they were heading along the right path. After several turns, Conner eventually stopped near a building, with Kimberly bumping into him from behind.

Kimberly, confused, asked, "Conner, why did you stop?" Then Kimberly was just as shocked as Conner as they watched what just happened. In front of them was the sight of a guy eating, no, swallowing, a raccoon. Whole and alive. Quite frankly, Conner had never seen anything so.... disturbing. After a few moments, Conner suddenly turned around to face Kimberly and said, "We're going home."

"What? B-but we just got here!" Kimberly argued. "Come on, give them a chance! I-I'm sure it's not as bad as it looks."

Conner, in mental turmoil, took a few moments to decide, then exasperatedly said, "Fine. If I see something like that again, though, I'm leaving, with or without you." Together, the two walked over to greet the two, avoiding a small snake slithering by. "Um... hi," Kimberly said nervously, peeking around from behind Conner. Conner, also a bit nervous, raised a hand in greeting, but said nothing.
By the way guys, I'm not going to be able to write out the timeskip today. Really not up to it right now, especially not after that large OOC post.

What's East Academy?
I really want to play Xcom 2, but that price tag....
If I recall, monster food works differently from human food.... :P
Asriel was surprised when Chara pulled away from his support. He couldn't understand why the human didn't want help. His parents weren't bad people; far from it. They were the nicest people one could meet. Asriel even knew they had won 1st place for some competition for something like that. When Chara fell, though, Asriel understood one thing: they needed help, whether they liked it or not.

Asriel went over to Chara and kneeled down, attempting to support Chara again. "You're not fine. You need help," Asriel insisted as he reached over to grab Chara. "Please. You could die if you don't get help," Asriel added. Then Asriel remembered something. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a bar of chocolate. "Here, eat this," Asriel offered, putting the chocolate bar near Chara's mouth. "You'll feel better. Trust me."
:P
Apologies. I take back what I said.

I just wish we had a proper start to this rp.
