Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

When I need a left sock, there is none. When I don't need one, there is a surplus. I think the world is toying with me.

Eating a stick of butter is not as fun as it sounds to be.

Bio

I am Searat
Half sea, Half rat, All Aqueous Rodent.

My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)

As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.

Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.

Ed nodded silently at what Asteria said. While it was true that they only had four poisoned bone needles, with the bones that remained from his earlier weapon crafting, they could make more. The only issue is placement and the time it took for crafting more of the poisonous bone needles. "We may only have four right now, but we might be able to craft some more with the bone fragments from my attempt in crafting a weapon. As for location, its difficult to determine where and what route they would take. Though we do know that they would want to reach the bonfire, so setting them up in odd locations around the bonfire's perimeter would be the best bet we have." Ed thinks to help Asteria craft some more needles but holds the thought as his lack of skill in both crafting and using his fore paws dexterously would just hinder her in making more needles. "Preferably we place four traps on each side, ensuring that anyone who doesn't know they're there would get poisoned or at least hurt. If we're fast enough we could set up this trap in ten minutes tops..." Ed unwittingly lets out a rather grim smile."...and the goblins wouldn't be any wiser to our little trap."

Ed then proceeds to leave the little foxhole as quietly and discreetly as he could. Bringing along the four poisoned bone needles and covering them in mud, sans the poisoned part. Ed then sneaks around five feet or so around the bonfire proper and sets up the traps to protect their front and their flanks. Digging small holes and burying the camouflaged poisoned bone needles up to an inch or so below it's tips. Using his [Beast Sense I], Ed keeps himself on high alert. Using his sharp sense of hearing to makes sure he isn't causing too much sound while making sure that the enemies are still quite a distance away from his position. He returns to the bonfire and alerts the rest of the group of what he and Asteria did. "Just a reminder to everyone, we set up some poison needle traps around the perimeter of the camp. Please do watch your step." He finally sneaks to the foxhole and follows Asteria's mother in resting before the fight.

In regards to the attack, would it possible to use Roy's skills such as defensive duelist to defend?
Oh yeah. Nearly forgot about that, I'll add it asap.

Roy frowned deeply at the rude reply of the adventurer with the strange instrument. At the very least the dragonborn was courteous enough to welcome him. Though the first one was right, the storm was coming in fast and the troglodytes had enough brain power to decide that fighting them in the open would have been suicide. Roy had a disadvantage of being the last to enter the fray of battle, but as the saying goes: "better late than never." Roy then hastens his pace to help the adventurers dispatch the beasts. He had not come close enough to the corpse of the fallen troglodyte for him to be affected by the miasma, but he grimaced in disgust as the miasma the corpse produced was noxious even from this distance. 'Nine hells! The beasts are dangerous even in death. I need to be careful when dispatching them...' Roy quickly thinks to himself as he runs past the sea creature's corpse, heading closer to the temple to help the half-orc adventurer and the one with the strange instrument.

Jeez dude, hope the guy who jumped you gets arrested.
Roy is obviously last coming into battle with a 4.
@Lucius Cypher @Riaxh @rush99999 @Duthguy

As the roar of the troglodyte echoed in the abandoned streets of the town, Roy cursed under his breath as the cries of the first one was quickly retorted by roars from within the ruins. 'Nine hells, I can't stay here and wait to be ambushed by a group of those troglodytes.' He quickly glances behind him, but the sounds of the incoming storm as well as the sudden need for action didn't offer Roy much of a good approximation to determine how far or how close the damnable beasts were. It was then the trio attacked the troglodytes eating the carcass. The adventurer with the strange instrument was first to act, then followed by the half-orc and the dragonborn. It was apparent that all of them were capable combatants but it would sully his honor as a noble and a musketeer if he were to idly stand by while they fight.

Roy moves out of the alley way and moves closer to the group. Close enough for them to hear him but far enough for him to safely discern if they were friendly. He then proceeds to introduce himself to the group. "Hail, Adventurers. I am Sir Duncan of Briston. Sub-lieutenant of the Bristonian Royal Musketeers, 1st company." He proceeds to draw his pistol and his rapier and offers them a quick fencing salute. "I will aid you in battle. My sword and my gun are at your disposal."

Ethan notes that the man had quite the stutter but would not point it out. Instead, he offers the young man a friendly smile before taking the satchel of ingredients from him. "Thank you for the offer, but I don't think I would need anything else. To answer your question as to why I am late. It was because I was..." He pauses to think about if he should reveal that the reason he was late was due to poor maps and getting lost. He frowned slightly as it would paint him in a bad light so he chose to tell him another factor that caused him to be late. "attacked by a duo of blood hawks. Uhh...I'd like to stay and chat some more but I still have a ways to go for the next pick up. Goodbye." Ethan tips his hat again and was about to turn and leave when he realized that carrying the ingredients with his hands would be inefficient and would make defending himself much more difficult if the event arises. "On second thought, do you have any knapsacks or anything of the like available? Nothing fancy, just something durable and would last long."

Insight Check for why the store clerk is so jittery: 13
Also how much would a wood cutter's axe cost?
That's not very reassuring to hear. Id just rather take my chances with Roy revealing himself to the others than wait for a group of trogs to ambush him. Ill try to get a post up after work.
