Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

When I need a left sock, there is none. When I don't need one, there is a surplus. I think the world is toying with me.

Bio

I am Searat
Half sea, Half rat, All Aqueous Rodent.

My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)

As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.

Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.

Raime would finally reach the general area where Leif and Ames rode off to after significant effort of climbing up the side of the mountain. Made even more inconvenient that he only had one arm to use. But upon reaching the area the telltale sign of his sense of time dilating meant that they'd finally found their quarry. A party of 3 or so it seemed at the moment. Nobody could be too sure that they weren't acting as a diversion for their other party mate/s to make off with the actual supplies. Regardless this was the more immediate threat and seeing the aura-wreathed samurai lady single-handedly hinder Leif's nuclei was intimidating but pumped the virtual adrenaline through his avatar's body. It'll be his first time fighting against a genuine player. This'll be exciting.

Casters were a keystone component to any group and were, more likely than not, the most dangerous ones. There was no contest to which of the three Raime would attack. And it would seem that Leif was more than ready to help him do his task. Using his speed boost given by [First In, First Out Lvl.2] when engaging enemies, the scout moves to a more optimal position to better increase his chance of hitting his targets and, perhaps, scoring a crit by hitting a vital organ. "Got it, but careful around the magic tank! She looks like trouble!" The one armed scout said as he manipulated his weapon with practiced certainty. Expending [50 SP] to shift his sword into its gun form and shooting both the axe bard and the Naruto wannabe. Aiming to disrupt their concentration and let the poison coated bullets do their work.

"I was hoping you had a plan of sorts. Been decades since I had to think like under time pressure like this." True enough the laid back and relaxing life of a cloistered scholar of Lorenstad had dulled his adventuring acumen. Then it seemed that Shina was distracted by her furry companion before panic set in her widened eyes. Thinking that the violent vegetation had decided it wanted a second round, Rudolph readied himself to a fight. But a voice called to them from the canopy, lo and behold a wild elf had called their attention. To make matters worse, the savage had captured the young boy and held the poor soul under threat of a sharpened blade. Shina yelled at the elf but instead of complying to her demands, the knife blade got closer to the boy's neck as the savage made his demands.

"Alright, alright! Just keep the knife away from the boy's neck." He cursed under his breath. Even Wild Elves should have some decency to not hold a young boy hostage. With little to no options left, they went unwillingly back to the Woods. All the way to the forsaken battleground where their Mesmer friend and Nemnon readied to clash blades.

Raime would have liked to go hunt down an enemy Rien officer and interrogated the higher up for info on the routes the supply runners would have taken but after Leif explained to them that he could turn his head into a wolf's head, he could likely track down the scent of players. He'd just hoped that Leif's wolf sense of smell was just as good as a blood hound's if they intend to track players in such a wide expanse of land such as this. No sense in worrying about it now, they were on site and preparing to intercept enemy players.

The one armed scout was rather glad that they were still in the Nyu-Taro region of the world. He'd only recently got familiar with the region's alchemically useful flora and fauna. The supply couriers would be, no doubt, exceptionally fast and nimble. He would need to create a countermeasure for that. Gathering all the poisonous plants and fungi he could find, Raime uses his alchemy skills to create whatever nasty poisons he could make from the materials he had gathered. Once he created the base poisons, he would go on to share the created poisons to his companions. "I'm not sure if this will be of any use to you, but make sure you have a coating of it on your weapons before PvP starts. It'll debuff their stats enough to make killing them a little easier on us." The man says before coating the teeth of his Chihanashi Mk. II as well as a number of the bullets the weapon uses in its [Handcanon] form. "Hopefully none of the players we encounter has poison resistance or something. That would suck."

"As I mentioned a little earlier, without a proper magical catalyst, my magic will be eating through these makeshift catalysts very quickly. Approximately each would last six seconds give or take." Rudolph explained to the warrior as he began counting the collected branches. There were roughly fifty branches in the pile they collected. That would mean five minutes of the scrying spell taking effect. He would have hoped that 5 minutes would be enough for him to pinpoint or, at least, generalize the direction where Thaddeus was. "If everyone is ready, I'll begin the divination." Grasping a branch, the wizard begins to channel his mana into the catalyst and focus on the Mesmer's mental image.

As predicted, the amount of magic flowing into the mundane object was too much and soon turned into ash; but before he could lose concentration on the spell he grabs another branch to continue the channeling. The process repeated itself over and over again as the pile of branches was gradually reduced for the five minutes he was able to keep the spell going. Not a branch was left and not a centimeter of the wizard's clothes were free from ash. Dusting himself off as best as he could he turns to report to his companions. "It wasn't much to work with but I can say with 78% certainty that Thaddeus is North East of our position and is still in combat with Nemnon." He wasn't sure the next step considering that they just narrowly escaped capture and now know that Thaddeus was still alive and, more importantly, inside the Thousand Year Old Woods fighting against a monster of an elf.
Tragic
That sounds fair.
Thank you.

"More of the same..." Mortimer says as they wandered deeper into the dungeon's halls. He'd note that he should bury their dead after they establish a base of sorts. Just felt wrong to just leave them there rotting with the bodies of those horrid adventurers. But what caught his full attention was the sound of footfalls that weren't his nor the vampire's echoing through the halls as it grew fainter and fainter as the being that caused it went deeper into the dungeon. Mortimer called out but it seemed that he reacted too late. The sound of footsteps had gone so distant that he couldn't hear them any longer. "I'm sure that I wasn't the only one who heard that. We ought to follow them...but keep your guards up. We don't know if they're hostile or not."

He was feeling a little more confident than when he was all alone but confidence would nary hinder an attacker's blade. Better to be prepared for the worst rather than getting caught with your metaphorical pants down.
Coolio.

"A whole bunch of branches would be a start. Without a proper magical catalyst like my wand, my magic will be eating through those branches faster than a skulk of hungry foxes in a chicken coop." Rudolph said as he started collecting his share of branches. They didn't know how far the Mesmer was and the half-elf wizard believed that it was better to have a surplus of materials than a shortage of it. Any magic user worth their weight in gold knew how to use mundane items as temporary catalysts for their casting. It could never compare to the efficiency and ease of using an actual catalyst but it was always better to have a catalyst than to cast without one. "I don't want to sound negative, but...what do we do if we can't find Thaddeus or, Maker forbid, discover that the worst had happened to him?"
