<Snipped quote by SepticGentleman>

We have talked about a LOT of things in the PMs. Remind me, what was this- lichdom, joining, antagonist?

The first one.
Umbrix

Umbrix turned, eyeing the babbling Crompter. He approached the old mage, leaned forward, and held up one of his long, dark fingers up to his teeth. After a moment, Crompter ceased his volley. Umbrix stood upright again and looked to the table.

"I did not come here for you." He said, looking to Seadus. "I did not come here for your pursuits. I don't care if your clairvoyance saw my arrival long beforehand or if it sees my cooperation long after, I... came here for myself, and my House." He scanned the table a bit more and continued, "This gathering of yours? This project? It is very grandiose and very dangerous. I have no doubt in my mind it will bring about some unwanted attention from the mundane forces outside and, I'm not interested in becoming a soldier in an army."

He stepped away a few paces.

"You have all your own whim to play this game and I will not interfere with your efforts, but I came here of my own volition. Once I have what I desire, I am leaving."

He paused for a moment, and then turned and left for the door once again.

I kind of want my character to seem like the bad guy when your character leaves he sneers at him and calls hoping something like a wimp and says that we both came here for a reason and maybe states that two minds are better than 1

He would disagree.

Duh

*slaps* Do not underestimate the Tower, foolish mortal!

Seadus has access to all the secret tombs and such of the Tower. There is going to be at least one book or something that would teach Umbrix more than he ever knew before.

Well then he should pony up that knowledge soon-ish if he wants to keep the company of El Freak-o Deer-o.

And then...what? Leave the RP?

Nah, nah. He's gonna do the things we talked about.

Crompter will make a big deal and start cussing out Umbrix I suppose. Others could chime in as well and I don't know, convince him to stay?

I think he's just uninterested right now and would need some other motivation to join the quest. Maybe Seadus would share secrets of necromancy?

If Seadus knows anything about the art that he doesn't, that is.
@SepticGentleman
Wait...is Umbrix just gonna leave?

That's his plan. Anyone's free to stop him and call him a jammy cunt though. Otherwise I'm just gonna have him do some more reading and gross shit.
Umbrix

Immortality.

Could it have been anything else?

Umbrix eyed the room's occupants. If this was the confluence Seadus intended to unlock everlasting life, he was most likely bound for disappointment. And Alrin, that... man-child, jumping at the opportunity to emulate the actions of a man he didn't even know.

But he did bring up an interesting point. Lichdom, the "corrupt" form of immortality. Binding one's soul to a phylactery and stowing it away. If there were any promising efforts that one could conduct for the desired result, it was certainly a prominent one. But oh, was Umbrix interested in the pursuit of infinity? Not as much as much as most others would be.

He arose from his black, withered chair, and he turned and proceeded towards the room's doors. While the rest of the congregation delved further into the idea of following this Primus, he was going to continue pilfering what knowledge he could from the Tower's books on necromancy.

As he approached the doors, one inkling thought passed through his mind.

Why two necromancers?
@SepticGentlemanNo, Maxx did, it's in their last Taylor post, so unless something happened behind the scenes, I can't see how that's possible.

On another note, have any ideas to help me out of this pickle I've found myself in?

Huh. Didn't see the Taylor post. So I am mistaken, sorry bud.

I mean, if you could get the flying motorcycle to be removed, Aiden could at least talk his way out of the situation like he talked his way in.
@SepticGentlemanHow so, all their character did is yell at Aiden, Meifang, and Taylor to not fight. Max is the one who put the ice spike up to Aiden's throat at the worst possible moment. I would've said something earlier, but I thought I could think of a way out of it. I was mistaken, but since it's too late to fix it, I must live with my mistake. . . or not, as the case will more likely be.

No I mean, Valhalla was the one who wrote all that.

(EDIT: Wrong again, my apologies Val.)
Sorry for not posting today, I was going to but made the terrible decision to watch YouTube first and everything went down hill from there. I might make a post tonight for Aiden or just wait until tomorrow to get Aiden and Alek both out in one post. Again, sorry for holding things up.

@Maxx You have really made this battle a lot more difficult to write without killing my character since a motorcycle gets tossed at his back while Taylor decides to point a killer icicle at his throat. If anyone could give me a believable way for Aiden to avoid getting at least seriously injured by this(because their are no scales on his body except for his arms yet) then that would be great, cause otherwise, Aiden's going to need a trip to the ER or the morgue.

I uh... I think Val is the one you should be addressing that to.

(EDIT: Nope, I was wrong.)
