Bio

My Name is Shadow Daedalus, but I will accept pretty much any diminutive form you can come up with. I am active in the GMT Timezone, and I mention this to help coordinate posting times with others.

I like to RP things with fighting and grit, but chilled out RPs are good too. I'm a little out of practice, so my writing style falls anywhere between Low-Casual and High-Casual.

Wide range of tastes, like Sci-fi, Modern, Fantasy and Historical. This also includes a diverse range of Fandom content, especially Games and Anime.

I don't usually play more that three characters at a time, and I'm more comfortable as a male character, but I might try to expand more in the future, you'll have to wait and see...

Not very interesting, so feel free to ask me questions :D

@Sep Damn. I had some... interesting interactions between Khyrr and Aurek planned. Are you going to let other people adopt your characters?

Legend:
Daedalus was a great inventor and architect in Athens. His sister placed her son, his nephew Perdix, in his care to be taught in the mechanical arts but he quickly excelled with his own inventions, namely a Saw and a pair of Compasses. Daedalus, a man of his own inventions, became envious of his nephew's achievements and the two got into a large argument, which ultimately lead to the younger boy falling from the Acropolis. Athena turned him into a partridge to save him and scarred Daedalus' right shoulder with a partridge mark as a punishment, after which he exiled himself from Athens.

He fled to Crete, where he was soon recruited by King Minos to build his daughter Adriene a wide dancing-ground. When Minos kept a white bull given to him by Poseidon as a sacrifice, he got revenge by having Minos' wife, Pasiphaë, lust for the bull with the help of Aphrodite.
She asked Daedalus to help her fulfil her desire, and he built a wooden cow for her to hide in as the bull mated with her. This resulted in the birth of Asterios, The Minotaur. Minos commissioned Daedalus to construct a prison to hold the creature, and Daedalus designed and built the Labyrinth, a maze so complex he himself was almost trapped. This legendary maze was later conquered by the Athenian hero Theseus with the help of Adriene.

To prevent knowledge of the Labyrinth escaping to the outside world, Minos imprisoned Daedalus and his young daughter Icarus (due to her boyish look and energetic personality, it was widely believed she was actually his son) in a stone tower. With Minos carefully searching all ships leaving Crete, they couldn't escape via the sea so the Inventor fashioned a pair of wings for him and his son, made from feathers and wax. He warned Icarus not to fly to high, lest the sun soften the wax, nor too long, lest the sea foam soak the wings and make them too heavy to fly. The pair took flight and managed to pass Samos, Delos and Lebynthos before the freedom of flight clouded Icarus' judgement and she forgot her father's advice. Flying too close to the sun, the wax of her wings softened and they collapsed, making her fall into the ocean and drown. Bitterly lamenting his own creation for killing his daughter, he named the land where her body washed ashore Icaria in her memory and stayed there until Athena appeared to him, gifting him with a pair of real wings and telling him to 'fly like a god'.

He finally arrived in Sicily, in the care of King Cocalus of Kamikos on the island's south coast. He built a temple to Apollo and gave up his wings as a sacrifice. Minos, searching for him by going from city to city with a difficult riddle. He presented a spiral seashell and asked a thread to be passed through it. When he finally reached Kamikos, Cocalus fetched Daedalus to solve it in private by tying a string to an any and coaxing it though the shell with a drop of honey. Minos, realising Daedalus was in the court of King Cocalus, demanded he be handed over, but was instead lured into taking a bath wherein Daedalus and Cocalus' daughters killed him.

Personality:
In normal interactions, Daedalus comes across as polite and intelligent, with a side of formality.

Heralded as a genius inventor in his life, Daedalus is naturally very intelligent and likes to take pride in his work. Despite this, the death of his daughter and his involvement in the sacrifices for the Minotaur by building the Labyrinth have also lead to him seeing his work in a very negative way, often questioning what harm his inventions will do. He will use his skills to accomplish his and his Master's goals, but will quietly condemn himself for it.

As a father, he acts in a very fatherly way towards his master as he sees a lot of Icarus in her. He is very kind to her, guiding her and gently scolding her if needed. If she is threatened, he is very defensive of her, more so than a Servant would be normally. While He believes that he isn't worthy of the grail, he still fights to the best of his ability so that she can be given her wish.

Class Skills:
Territory Creation: B, Allows creation of a 'workshop'
Personal Skills:
Divinity: B
Wisdom of Divine Gift: A+
Innovation: EX
Noble Phantasms:

Khaos Labyrinthos - The Twisting Stone Prison: [Rank EX] [Anti-Army]
Recreating one of his most infamous works of architecture, He and all other Masters and Servants around him are trapped in a sprawling, treacherous Labyrinth, rigged with traps and complex mazes that are immune to most forms of damage. Lasts until either his enemies or Daedalus himself is defeated, although it can also be dispelled manually. A 'Workshop' must be built using Territory Creation, and Daedalus himself must channel substantial amounts of Mana for at least 2 minutes uninterrupted before this NP can be utilised, during which mist-like walls form and gradually solidify. These can be travelled through with increasing effort as time goes on, sacrificing increasing amounts of Mana and health to pass through until the walls are fully solid. Only a NP of the same rank can damage the Labyrinth once it is formed.

Alítheia Fterá - True Miracle of Flight: [Rank B] [Support]
Blessed by the Goddess of Wisdom Athena, Daedalus can spread a pair of organic, magically enhanced wings to fly freely through the air with a low but continuous Mana cost, which also grants his Agility a passive boost to rank B even whilst not in flight. Depending on how much Mana he is feeding into the wing, he can fly at almost supersonic speeds and can block attacks up to rank B Noble Phantasms.

Axios Architékton - Olympian Construct: [Rank A+] [Support]
A skilled inventor and accomplished architect, this Noble Phantasm replaces his Item Creation Skill and gives Daedalus the ability to create and freely control magi-mechanical constructs, each equal to low-ranked (C/D) Noble Phantasms of their own. These constructs can take any form he can envision, including modern weapons and even mechanical creatures. Each construct takes a large toll on his Mana, with a maximum of 3 C-Ranked, 5 D-ranked or a single A+ Ranked Construct summoned before the Noble Phantasm is dispelled and his Mana allowed to slowly recover.

@Slime
FINALLY FINISHED IT!!! Thank you so much for the help! Feel free to pick at it if anything needs changing.

Note: I know I haven't put it up yet, but his Master will be a younger girl, maybe 15 at most.

@Chotgoriin Awesome, we don't have a Berserker yet
@Sarcelle Renard@Shadow Daedalus

Jack would've been a good spotter ;_;

I'm sure he can tag along XD He hates fighting and loud noises though, and you want him next to a gun that glows with lightning and breaks the sound barrier? Because Last Light is VERY Loud.
@Sarcelle Renard Grey sounds like a good spotter/partner for Raiden during missions . He even has three of the same enhancements
@Doltboy I'll admit, the nonsensical-ness made me smile a bit. He seems like he'd the comic of the group
@DoltboyI've got to ask...why is he a flying dwarf of all things?
<Snipped quote by Doltboy>

Thats up to you honestly. Although I feel like we've turned this into a MMO by assigning roles and what not.

Maybe Ill add a transformation to Barracuda's primal ablites. Maybe give him an Evolve ablity...0-0

That Evolution idea seems cool, and a Leader should always be adaptable right? (I'm assuming our numbers also mean our chain of command: 1 is leader, 2 is in command when he's not there etc.)
Rue is essentially ranged... Sort of like, ranged melee?

I'd say she's more melee than ranged. 19m is definitely pushing it, but she relies on reaching her target with her body before she can attack them.
I'm not sure where I was going with my IC, so I've left it as an open prompt
