I'm tired already, and it's barely past 1.
The beetle scurries about the jar.
He crawls around the jar, and falls off the wall a few times, to keep up appearances.
Just making sure.
He lets the insect take over, and it wanders around like normal. The bite mark is tinged a yellowish green, and it slowly spreads, and with it, a dead numbness follows.
He feels a sharp sting in his hand, and the lump is rock hard.
