He shrugs. "They owed me a debt. They couldn't pay, so their land was repossessed until they can pay it off. How is that different then any other landlord?" He laces his fingers together. "Besides, the land was mine to begin with. The manor, and the lands around it, all belonged to my parents. I'm their only child, so the manor, and everything around it, legally belongs to me. I just found a way to take my inheritance back."
