Just trying to live out that fantasy man! But I understand reality and fairness are best, switched Metagross with a Tyrogue because I think it'll be more fun to have someone to train and hope to evolve and have the ability to pick what he'll become later on. Only problem is weak move set, so its possible to train him to learn things such as Mach Punch or Hi Jump Kick?

That's the kind of team you'd expect a champion to have, and it definitely wouldn't be an easy battle! Especially at 23, seems a bit young for such a high-powered, almost fully-evolved team. There's nothing rule-breaking, that just kinda weirds me out.Also, slight thing: If it's 1923, and he's 23, he would have been born in 1900.Other than that though, it seems good!

Region of Origin: Hoenn
Physical description: Caleb appears older than his actual age, his face appears tired by the war and his eyes give off the impression that behind this young face an older gentleman sits. Caleb himself used to be an energetic, happy child before being sent off to battle. Witnessing things in war changed him and aged him much like it did everyone else who was on the frontlines. While Caleb is thankful he is alive everyday he can't help but feel guilt from the past, actions he could've taken to prevent less causalities and possibly preserve some friends.
Occupation during war: Soldier.
Post-War Occupation: Runs his family's Herb Shop, located in the Goldenrod underground.
Brief Biography: Caleb grew up in Fortree where it was common to interact with completely wild Pokemon. He saw the brutalities of everyday life and the reality of how things existed in the Pokemon world. His entire family ran a herb shop existing in Fortree, where he learned how to use natural items to relieve a variety of symptoms. Growing up in this environment all Caleb wanted was to raise and breed strong Pokemon, his love for them only increased when his father managed to buy him a Cubone for his tenth birthday. From then on the boy and his new partner explored the vast wilderness around them, the thirst for adventure inside him flourished within this time of his life. It wasn't until he was eighteen that Caleb happily enlisted in Hoenn's military to help the war effort, realizing quickly it was a mistake. While he feels no regret for joining, Caleb was left with a void of misery that will hangover him like a dark cloud forever.

Bonehead

Name: Bonehead, also called 'Bone' for short.
Species: Marowak
Gender: Male
Type: Ground
Physical description: Bonehead appears as a typical Marowak, with the defining large bone in hand and skull protecting his own. Bonehead sports a small necklace fashioned from a variety of tooth bones, feathers and beads. This was made by Caleb's sister before the pair left for the war.
Met: Fortree City, long ago.
Brief personality description: Bonehead gains his name from his personality, somewhat dense in the head and a little slow but often Bonehead finds himself out of tight situations simply with a never-ending will to go on. His fierce passion has lead Caleb into a much stronger man and has carved a path for the pair through life. While Caleb remains the brains behind the pair he knows that Boneheads sheer determination is the secret weapon in their workings. Often prefers to be alone with Caleb, seeks the company of none but him.
Relationship with trainer: Caleb acts as the brains while Bonehead is what some would call the brawn. Being a tough Pokemon since they met he has provided Caleb with many lessons on bravery, responsibility and love. The two share a bond that Caleb can't admit for any of his other Pokemon however much he loves them as well.

Tusk

Name: Tusk
Species: Piloswine
Gender: Male
Type: Ground / Ice
Physical description: A very large Piloswine with even larger tusks, donning his nickname. Tusk is just large and bulky, that's really anything can say about him or anything about his fur.
Met: When Caleb was 15 on vacation.
Brief personality description: A lazy Pokemon who would like nothing more than to just eat the berries you feed him and rest. Somewhat grumpy and irritable but often this anger is directed at the opposing Pokemon. Tusk understands that if he finishes the battle fast he can head back to rest.
Relationship with trainer: Tusk sees Caleb simply as his friend, he keeps him warm with his fur when he can and protects him with his life if he has to, other than this he sees Caleb as the guy who gives him all the delicious food and cherishes him for this. A very simple bond but one built on brotherly bonds.

Melody

Name: Melody or Mel for short.
Species: Chatot
Gender: Female
Type: Flying
Physical description: Melody had an unfortunate event in her life where the top of her head was clipped causing the typical eighth note to split making it loosely appear as a sixteenth note. Often she sits atop Caleb's shoulder and provides strange commentary to tasks in his life.
Met: Received in a trade.
Brief personality description: Melody ironically is one of those 'goes to the beat of their own drum'-types. She enjoys simply exploring or discussing in her own strange way the complexities of life. A very intelligent yet different Pokemon who appears to know more than she shares.
Relationship with trainer: Melody enjoys Caleb's company, her favorite days are bright and shiny when she can sing, speak and express herself all day long. While not the best at battling, she adds her own flare and has a variety of moves which Caleb enjoys to use.

Name: Jaws
Species: Gible
Gender: Female
Type: Dragon / Ground
Physical description: A typical female Gible with the uncut fin, the only strange feature is the amount of teeth she seems to have are more than a typical Gible.
Met: During the war, captured.
Brief personality description: Jaws is very protective of Caleb, she often is known for sinking her many teeth into people simply trying to shake hands with the man. Jaws simply just adores Caleb and some might say she has even developed some strange feelings for him that go beyond boundaries anyone really wants to get into. A strange Pokemon indeed, Jaws is one of a kind and Caleb would not like her any other way.
Relationship with trainer: Always striving to become Caleb's favorite, she years for his attention and uses this to drive her in battle. A deep level of affection goes between the pair where some might find odd but truly Jaws simply sees Caleb as something of a father and a mother having never met any humans before Caleb. A strange meeting the pair had when a young soldier happened to be traveling through a large cave with his platoon when the cries of a Gible could be heard. Caleb investigated the cries for help, having been a lover of Pokemon and found the poor thing trapped under a pile of debris and likely left by her fellow Gible. Caleb healed her wound and offered Jaws a place in his team which she happily accepted.

Working on it now, would it be okay to have a shiny or a pokemon with something different about them? IE An Electabuzz with a different pattern or slightly larger than average Wigglytuff just for cosmetics nothing special about them.

Hmm maybe...

Do you HAVE to have a magic? Or would I be the only one without it and be like the biggest scrub? And how do you propose we begin/what's the premise of the RP? Are we gonna start on the first day or a few weeks or something into the game to get our bearings, will we all be a single guild trying to win dealing with stuff or is it a free sandbox?

And if people get exp for posting, that's gonna harm some people who tend to be busier since they'll fall hard behind or get pushed out simply cause people want to post for exp. I mean its not a bad idea, I'm just being the devil's advocate ;P
