The 286th Legion
I was inspired to create this by my former Roleplay, Star Wars the Clone Wars - Order 66 Rewritten. This will be going along with the canon, so no alternate history. The 286th Legion is just one of many active clone units during the Clone Wars. They are stationed in the Outer Rim Territories on the lookout for Separatist activity.
Plot
It has been about four months since the Battle of Geonosis, and the war has entered a bit of a stalemate. Neither side is gaining any ground nor losing any. The CIS control a vast amount of the Outer Rim, and continue to try and push into the Inner Core. The Republic, on the other hand, controls a vast amount of the Inner Core and continues to try and push out into the Outer Rim.
Many Clone detachments and Jedi Knights are cut off from reinforcements in the Outer Rim because of this, leaving many to fend for themselves as General Grievous continues his path of terror and death. The 286th Legion is one of these units in the Outer Rim, protecting various Republic Controlled Worlds from invasion. They are led by Jedi General Kelen Rolin, Jedi Commander Teela Kamara, and Clone Commander CC-7501 Bronze.
The main focus on this is going to be the characters. I'm going to create the Battalions, and everyone here is going to start at the rank of Trooper. I feel that will be a fair way for this to work. Naval forces will be different, each new ship created will be Commanded by a Captain. You can create lower ranks, however, such as Lieutenant, Ensign, Etc...

He graduated top of his class, and was placed as a Captain on the Republic Cruiser Excalibur. After the previous Admiral was killed in action, he took command and was promoted to Admiral. He serves alongside Jedi General Kelen Rolin.
He is a proactive officer, often leaving his station at the Excalibur to oversee supply shipments and such when he's not needed. He's not one afraid to get his hands dirty, having trained in hand to hand combat at the academy. He is one of Rolin's most trusted officers and friends, and has a near perfect combat record.

He has managed to survive several battles in the Outer Rim with minimal casualties.
A well rounded and simple officer, he is surprisingly adept at handling combat scenarios. He makes changes to the simplest strategies, turning them into something the enemy wouldn't expect. Given that he is still green, he doesn't have the experience of other officers such as Millon, nor the perfect tactical assessments that the enemy would have.

He became the Padawan to Jedi Knight Amon Rictor at the age of 10, and faced the Jedi Trials and became a Knight at the age of 15. He served as one of many Jedi Peacekeepers in the Outer Rim Territories until he was 27, when he and many other Jedi were sent by Master Mace Windu to save Master Obi-Wan Kenobi on Geonosis, the battle after which sparked the Clone Wars. Afterwards he was assigned the 286th Legion, and also took on a Padawan soon after, a Twilek girl named Teela Kamara.
Rolin is an unorthodox Jedi, who walks the fine line of the edge of the Jedi Code. He isn't afraid to use a Blaster, and isn't afraid to take the life of one who truly has nothing but hatred in his heart. He is a brilliant tactician, comparable to the tactics of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. In the end, he cares about his friends, members of the order, and the troops under his command greatly.

Personality/Bio: Rewind is a pretty normal trooper in general. He listens to orders and gets the jobs done. He reached Lieutenant because of the way he leads, it contrasts greatly to Captain Rigger. If he starts losing too many men, he will quickly order a retreat, whereas Rigger will hold the line and push the droids back himself if he has to. It is because Rewind is relatively green, replacing the former Lieutenant who was reassigned. He hasn't had the experience that Rigger has, so he plays cautious, many times too cautious.

Personality/Bio: As an ARF Trooper, he was trained primarily for reconnaissance missions. As it so happens, that's what he's best at. He's quick on his feat, and can easily identify objects and people/droids as far as two clicks. He is skilled at using an AT-RT, which is quite useful to cover large amounts of terrain quickly. He's not a big talker, but he lets his skills with a sniper do the talking for him.

I had to stop shooting just to see who it was. I was quite surprised to recognize Captain Rigger. The Lieutenant, on the other hand, I'm not all that sure of. He seems to prefer to lead from the rear. I accidentally walked in on the old man chewing his ass out for something this one time. I don't know if the LT is going to be around us much longer. The Platoon daddy Sergeant Major Mack on the other hand is the real deal. He is always smoking these fat ass cigars and yelling at troopers. But when the Sergeant Major yells, it is usually for a good reason. He's another one I look up to.
Our Squad Leader, Sergeant Brick appears nervous, but otherwise does a fine job. I believe he just needs more experience. He is still new to the position. He knows what he is doing, but I've seen him focused on the enemy down range during a fire fight rather than looking at the squad. He's responsible for us! Sure his rifle needs to be engaging targets, but he needs to be situationally aware as well. I may not be an NCO yet, but this much I know.
The Corporal is a good trooper. He is pretty easy going; good for a few laughs. He goes by the name, Lance. During a fire fight, I caught him nipping at a small bottle under his body armor. Not sure what it was, but he seems to do his job fine.
The rest of the boys in 2nd Squad are clone troopers, fresh off Kamino, like me. We've been together as a unit for over a year now. We all get along pretty well and I am confident everyone has my back. I know I have their's."
