If Naoki ever was unable to reach the heights he promised or he went on the path that his old leader did Kai would simply leave this was the condition, no the challenge that Kai presented to him. "It's nice to work with the rest of ya." Kai paused before looking at Jun. "Maybe not him, but the rest of ya seem fine."

Decided to revise the XCEED Gundam.

Turn-XCEED Gundam

Name: TA-X-413 Turn-XCEED Gundam
Model: Turn-X

Description: A unit built for Kai and Souji Kiryu's masterpiece, The Turn-XCEED is a heavily modified Turn-X redesigned for close quarter combat, made with the design concept to exceed and defeat a million Gunpla, the main builder Souji poured everything he had into making this unit.

It’s main system is the XCEED system, an upgraded RG system. When it detects Assimilation is being used the XCEED Absorber will go into overdrive and gather Particles from around and into the frame of the Gundam significantly increasing it’s performance. When using this system, the vent on it’s head will emit excess energy to prevent it from overheating, creating a luminescent plume.

Turn-XCEED being based on the Turn-X, it still retains the ability to split and have the individual parts be maneuvered around, as well as the I-field and it's regeneration ability. It also can transform into 3 other forms, a butterfly like Mobile Armor by switching it’s legs and arms for high aerial maneuverability, switching the side parts of the Abdomen Weapons platform it can transform into a scorpion like mobile armor for underwater combat, and by switching the Abdomen parts with it’s legs it can turn into a beetle like shelling mode.

Armaments

XCEED Absorber:
The butterfly shaped X on its chest is an upgraded Power Absorber using Sei's absorb system, which allows it to absorb beams and convert beams into energy when they disperse against the I-field.

Twin Fusion Crushers:
Gauntlets attached to both arms of the Gunpla. These are slimed down versions of the Fusion and Manipulator redesigned to resemble the God Gundam's finger protectors and have . They can be used like the original manipulator allowing them to fire beams, create a beam saber and use the "Shining Finger." The only part that was removed was the Grappling wire, which has been replaced with the ability to generate a beam cloth for use in grappling.

Mega Particle Cannons:
Like the Turn-X the Turn-XCEED is equipped with Mega Particle Cannons throughout its body, it can use it's I-field to curve the beams for a more focused barrage. The Ones equipped on it's Leg and feet can link up to form a beam blade between them for kicking attacks.

Gigant Cannons:
More powerful Particle Cannons equipped in the back of the legs, they can also create a very powerful beam saber for a kick strike.

Variable Beam Vulcans:
Beam Guns Equipped to the head at the V fin, giving the head some offensive capabilities. It is able to change between vulcans for soft targets and a focused beam for hard targets.

“Tengoku and Chikyu” Butterfly Blades:
A pair of Liberta Swords which can either coat themselves in Moonlight Butterfly Nanomachines or Ionized energy to disable opponents. It also uses technology from the Turns to overcome the weaknesses of the Shinguru blade technology, it uses Nanomachines to quickly reset the edge and an I-field movement system to deal with the weight and allows it to be used as bits. They can be attached to each other handle to handle, which compresses and increases the power of the Moonlight Butterfly cladding.

“Luna and Sol” Butterfly Rifle:
A pair of revolver style short barreled rifles with Shinguru blades down the handles, the handguns have three firing settings, a bullet made from compressed Nano Skin, a blast of nanomachines, or an Ionized blast for disabling, all of which are accelerated using I-fields. The Shinguru blades also use Turn technology to overcome their weaknesses, while it can’t clad itself, this allows it to be used as bits and move around. The weapons can be combined together to create a bow like weapon.

Ballistic Magnum:
Team Alexander’s signature weapons. It’s a solid shot magnum with an Armor Schneider attached under the barrel. The Armor Scheider can be fired like a ballistic knife and then detonated. It is stored in the main section of the Abdomen Weapon Platform.

Abdomen Weapon Platform:
Made of three parts all on smaller arms attached to the waist of the Turn-XCEED the central part contains another I field generator and can be used as a shield, while the left and right parts have more standardised Fusion and Manipulators for combat wires included. These parts also have sections to hold Luna and Sol and Tengoku and Chikyu. The blades of the held weapons can also be emitted to create a crab like claw.

Moonlight Butterfly:
Uses Nanomachines to create butterfly-like wings that can break down man made materials into sand.

Contrary to how he acted, Kai was actually listening to Seo’s “request” for recruitment, he just ignored him because one he seemed a pain in the ass, two entering that team would simply shackle him. He could tell from looking at Hachiyama. Kai’s team were freaks of Gunpla, from his martial arts, to Kaguya’s eyes and Souji’s building abilities, to his old leaders freakish Newtype like spacial awareness, all of them were talented in someway. That why he tell when he saw talent when he saw it and Hachiyama was actually pretty talented, when he fired the Bazooka at him he made the proper judgment using himself as a sacrifice to prevent himself from dragging the rest of the team down as well as trying to take down an enemy with him. As far as he could tell he had potential, he could certainly be a regional regular if not higher and could have been a threat to Shark, but unlike the loudmouth he was being held back. Usually a Gunpla team tends to use unique suits suited for the member of the team, a specially made Gunpla for the user was a force multiplier, the only time you see when someone has the exact same Gunpla is if the team had amazing team work as in seeming like a a single person in mutiple bodies. Otherwise the downsides of not allowing the pilot to thrive out weighted benefits of consistency. He could tell that despite their loyalty, they couldn’t go beyond even regionals, an event that his old team had swept through without losing a single Gunpla.

Which was lucky for Naoki as the other team made his proposition seem better in comparison, though the prospect of being in a team with the loud mouth also took away points. Kai was almost indifferent to being asked to join a Gunpla team, after all he had plenty of two bit amateurs asking him like that amateur that tried a couple of minutes ago, of course he was also not very accepting of being part of a group, after his old team breaking apart. Needing to advance, but also against taking the steps Kai was at a crossroad. “So, then why us? Did you just want strong teammates?” The delinquent asked.

“Well then... catch.”

Kai suddenly raised his arm and dropped the Taisen in front of him from chest height, something that was completely out of left field for a Gunpla fighter, which was the point. While Kai was more than capable of catching the Gunpla before it hits the floor, this was a test for Naoki, not just his reaction time and ability to act in the face of the unexpected, but how he handled even a cheap Gunpla like the Taisen.

The battle would be over with Kai’s gambit, as both of his opponents would crash down and erupt into fireballs indicating his victory. The holographic cockpit would dissolve into particles as the shouts of the crowd and the announcer would fill the air, though he barely acknowledged it, he had won without taking a single direct hit and even finished off two opponents with one attack all while using a hastily built and repaired Gunpla, to some this would have been the highlight of their Gunpla career, but to Kai it wasn’t enough.

He felt he was stagnant. He had to settle a score, but he couldn’t settle it alone. The current format prevented him from entering alone, but he didn’t find a group that was skilled enough or had the right character to get to the point he needed. His thought were interrupted by Takemori. “Here ya are.” Kai handed over his Gunpla Base, more than a dozen other wins would be recorded within it. “Why hell not, a I’ve got nothing else to lose.” Kai would walk away after taking back his Gunpla Base, but not towards Naoki.

Kai approach Seo’s group... and completely ignore Seo himself, instead turning to Hachiyama. The Gunpla Fighter would put his fist into his palm before giving him a traditional martial arts bow. “I hope we can fight again.” Without waiting for a response Kai turned on his heels and gave a slight wave. He said nothing to any of his other opponents, not to Kishimoto, not to Hamada, not to Blade, or even Jun he simply walked to Naoki and Riku. “So, I’m willing to hear ya out.” Kai said to Naoki. “So what do ya want?”

Just a general question, what’s your characters win record for local tournaments? I know that Kai has at least 1 win since he’s been to regionals, but how many? Same to everyone else.
