Mega Evolution requires a user's keystone, and the Pokemon to hold a Mega Stone.

You can have multiple that can turn Mega in your team, but only the one that has the Mega Stone can Mega Evolve.

The logic of it in the anime is that the evolution must also require a strong bond between the trainer and the Pokemon.

It depends on what I want for my Mega. I'm only going to have one shiny is what I'd decided. If I choose any of them other than Sceptile, I can run with the Serperior.

Honestly for my Mega it's either... Gallade, Gengar, Altaria, Scizor, Garchomp, Tyrannitar, or Sceptile.

Also I know Starters like Charmander, Torchic and Piplup have an exclusive status within the games, but in the anime they're encountered almost like normal Pokemon, so I don't think starters have to be very rare.

In that case it should just be a list of encounterable Pokemon there, and labelling the really rare ones as well, rare, meaning if you want to pursue those ones, you'll have to work pretty hard.

The rest, you would be free to encounter, or have the GM randomly roll you one of them.

I would suggest putting the chances much higher by the way...

This is an RP, not the actual game where you can run around in the grass over and over again until you get it, so these generally low rates aren't justified. At most we get like, 3-4 tries per route if we're just passing through? And even those tries take awhile.

There are other methods possible too, like asking a Pokemon you encounter if they've seen a so-and-so, or if they've seen anything... Using your Pokemon to ask them of course. Then there's trying to up the chance of encountering a particular one by suggesting it's near.

Should have a review crew or something, it looks fine now, but you have like 20 something routes to do not including the various special locations like caves, and even cities too actually, because you can meet Pokemon there thinking logically.

Maybe have someone make a checklist and tick off all Pokemon that are attainable so far.

There's also I'd like to ask to get a shiny Treecko somewhere early on my travels... Or Snivy... It's so difficult. I want to fill out the Mega slot on my team, on the other hand I really like Serperior.
