The enemies took hits easily, they didn't seem the dodging type. Leiko and Chiaki stood in the back throwing out a few spells to help with the offensive effort, but as soon as they did, some of the other shadows that weren't already under attack, fired their handguns at the party, halting the spell assault. Akane's Persona strode in, doing some serious damage to one, but the thing is, there were four others, and she felt a bit of pain as soon as the one beside the one she attacked struck her Persona, and then very quickly another followed up with the handcuffs, managing to bind Setanta.

Rui immediately went in with a Gale Slash, restricting all of their movements while doing damage just for that moment, giving Setanta some room so that the bind would wear off after a couple moments of struggling.

"They can fight in range or melee, and can bind a careless advance. We need to hit all of them at once. Akane, Chiaki, Leiko, focus on picking them off once I use Gale Slash again", he ordered.

He called upon Askr again, moving fast into the center of the shadows before disappearing into a hurricane of slashes for a single moment, causing each and every one of them to stagger. This was their chance.

The early parts of the dungeon were pretty standard, and eerily quiet. They passed the check-in at the front entrance, and began to go down a bunch of corridors. Occasionally there would be hospital equipment and empty beds strewn across the sides, but otherwise it turned out to be a little labyrinth. After awhile the monotony ended, to some of the party's relief, the whole dark and restrained shades of blue and green and white like that of a hospital was beginning to become tiring, and the whole messed up look of everything was beginning to play on one's paranoia. They were now standing in an open clearing, there were chairs laid across the sides with small tables. This looked like some kind of waiting room.

At the end of this 'waiting room', there was a large elevator. It looked just like any other elevator, but run down and... Really big. There seemed to be nowhere else to go in order to advance, so they stepped into it after pressing the one and only button on it.

"Hmmm... I've played enough games to know what a big elevator means", he said to himself, and just on queue, shadows. Their first encounter in the whole dungeon. As the shadows manifested, the elevator began to lurch and then rocket itself at an incredible speed. Looks like these shadows were the key to moving on. They took the appearance to security guards, their faces wrapped in bandages, wielding a baton and a handgun, plus they looked like they could use their handcuffs too.

"Those shadows are... They're not letting the elevator stop. Defeat them and it should be okay", with that understood, Rui took a stance and announced to prepare for combat, though they didn't really need to be told.

He was counting five of them, and each one seemed to be a fair bit durable, meaning they won't go down to just a few hits. On the other hand, they seemed slow and easy to fight around... That was probably what the handcuffs were for. It was likely they had some kind of binding skill... Probably be careful for that.

"Two...?",

"That's right... I'm sensing two in there...", everyone was here plus Akane who recently joined. There seemed to be a new situation, where two people were in the mirror world...

"This has happened once before but...", her tone seemed to become more somber as she drifted off.

"But that's not important... What's important is we have a lot more people than when we started out... Speaking of which, he's late", as soon as he finished saying that, the door to the warehouse swung open, revealing a moderately dressed man. His figure was lean yet large, posture excellent, and short hair. Nothing seemed to really stand out from him other than his overbearing figure. In his hands he was holding a few things.

"Sorry, the line at the convenience store was long",

"I didn't ask you to go to the convenience store Tadao",

"I thought it'd be nice if we had something to eat. I wasn't sure how much to buy so I bought things that can be shared",

"Ugh... Well in any case, now that we're all here we can coordinate two rescue teams. Rui, you will charge on dungeon, while I will scout out the other with another party, everyone else left will stay and protect Megumi",

"But... I can only keep track of one party and dungeon at a time...",

"I'm well aware, which is why I said scout", his tone was visibly a little annoyed. Something seemed to irritate him, was it Tadao who was late? Or the two-dungeon dilemma?

"Ah right... This is Tadao. I'll be taking him and Riku to scout the second dungeon. We'll decide which to go first when we get inside", everyone paid their greetings to Tadao who politely returned them, and with that settled everyone armed up and set off.

Hospital Street

"Strawman Hospital... and Heartbreak Hospital...?", this was a unique sight. The dungeon area was a street, with two hospitals on either side. If your eyes followed the complex, it looked like they connected somewhere in the middle... Whether or not they did in a world with such nonsensical physical values, was up for question.

In any case, they had a few minutes to decide party setup. Kazuki had already begun scouting out Heartbreak Hospital, as it was decided Rui and his party would go down Strawman Hospital. They weren't sure who was in which, heck if these were both connected, exploring and finding the final area may be a more arduous task than anticipated, so having two parties to cover more ground was a good idea. In any case... Who was to be in his party...? So far it was him and Akane, but the last two slots go to whom...? Perhaps Chiaki, and then bring Leiko for healing? Yeah that makes sense.

He made his announcement on party composition, so now everyone had a few moments to prepare themselves. Matthew seemed to be very very okay with being left out, because of the two hospitals, and for some reason so was Noboru... He didn't seem to have fond memories of the hospital. Ironically Akane was just in a hospital up until mid way last week, so she wasn't so keen, but she probably needed the experience.

The only ones who still need a Persona drawn are... Jun, Kami, and the yet-to-be-named bird mascot. Although Reaper has so far declined, so I might skip and start on ultimates some time next month, while I design Kami's and the bird on the side.

Warakuma High > Warakuma Park - After School

Rui was on his way home until he got a message on his phone. It was from Akane. It seems she wanted to talk... Well with exams out of the way, this was a good a time to share with her everything. They met up in Warakuma Park. Rui was already off school grounds when he got the message, so he opt a compromise on location which was the park. Sure enough she showed up.

"Right, I guess I should tell you about everything...", he began with the kidnappings, suspicion around the cult, and everyone else, including Kazuki and his crew. As soon as he finished, he asked if she wanted to join. It was her call. It didn't take her long to accept.

"I see, then we will keep in touch in case something happens", with that they began to go wherever they wanted or needed to at the time.

The week right after exams, all the clubs wanted to relax just a bit. More rigorous ones didn't though, like the kendo club was all about that discipline, so they didn't relax. Though they weren't on today, it was Thursday after all. The school week almost completely passed by already, and still no word from Kami on any new developments. He thought to look out for some on his own too, but the problem with the cult was that it was made up of residents in the town. They probably had eyes and ears everywhere, and blended in like completely normal people.

"Huh... I wish we had some solid lead... I'd rather not have the presence of a cult so actively bother me...", he muttered as he began to pick his bags up and head home for the day. Drama was on today, but he didn't want to go this week... Right after exams he felt he didn't need that kind of... Drama. Heh. Bad jokes aside, he was ready to head home, so that's what he did.
