"Vytal festival as the payoff then I guess? Heh, perfect. We'll show them even the first years are worth looking at, we're not gonna let out seniors hog all the spotlight", mostly him and his team. He had a thing for fame, he always sought it, he wasn't sure why, but when he thought of the Vytal festival, he remembered his friends whom had moved to other nations upon being adopted. Maybe they'll show up at the festival. Though when they left, he was the only one in the group with zero aptitude to becoming a hunter, not even the minimal, but look at him now...
"Oh, right, yeah I'll go grab the keys then we'll head up", Asher had finished his meal minutes before the conversation on Vytal had ended, so afterwards he got up to go grab the keys off of Lariah. After which he met back up with his team as they were finishing their meal and headed off for the dorms.
@CadenGallic Any chance of contributing characters to filling some upperclassmen positions? I actually have quite a few character ideas that were never fully realized, if you're curious you can ask me about them. And of course these will be as NPCs.

The prestige of this academy was still under fire in everyday conversation, what achievements did they have? Anyone who studied here worth knowing? In any case he had his own plans,
"Well, even if they haven't made anything of their time here, I'm sure as hell going to, make a name for myself", and he wasn't new to doing that. It might translate with greater effort from when he was on the streets, but he had some idea. Big jobs, big skills, and the Vytal festival too... The whole world will be watching those, and that was the perfect chance to show everyone you're worth something.

Although amidst this he was still stuffing his face so some of his words were repeated after finishing his bite. But he had a legitimate point, no seniors or juniors yet, they were the first gen. Unless some students decided to transfer here, they're not going to have anyone other than 'equals' for the time being.
Considering we have another person who joined, it'd be easier as you'd be put in a team with them.

He can carry as many types as he wants, just remember it's not unlimited.

He wasn't at the estate anymore so he was able to eat in whatever manner he wanted, which was not at all like what the son of a rich family should, albeit he is their adopted son, yet still they tried to teach him a more refined way... Which he is fully able to do, but he never liked it.
Based on what he was tasting, the cooks here knew what they were doing. Fairly simple flavors with a good kick. He possibly ate through his plate fastest.

It wouldn't be unusual to carry auxiliary equipment like actual smoke bombs, and as said, Steam is pretty close. It would suit your character too, though personally I'd put a maximum use on it, since your character is at the point where you really have to ask yourself... "Is this too much?" The guy is packed full with everything, rifle, sword, dagger/pistol side-arm, a Semblance that not only buffs his own capabilities and allows him to track, but also summons a wolf pack.
I think you should stop there with intrinsic capabilities and consider what extra equipment like smoke bombs and flash bangs you can bring along.
