Current Cleaning day! Made a ton of progress and even found my long lost DS and my missing laundry card that still has a lot of credits on it. Found it in my winter coat of all places go figure.

Finally got into D&D. Now I feel trapped and I am in love. Should I ask for help or ask where I can get more dice?

Breaks ups are weird. Not sure how to feel about the other person, or about yourself. It hurts for sure, but it's weird and uncomfortable just how different things seem now.

At first Hunter's life flashed before his eyes, then again startling a scared group of people with guns in the dark was a good way to almost get shot. Other then almost getting shot, he was first met by this mixed unit's medic. He was glad that someone like this was still alive, though she seemed rather young, or maybe it was the fast she was so short. He almost asked about her age, but remembered something a friend of his told him during basic training. Short girls are at the perfect height to punch you in the balls. So he figured he'd hold off asking her any questions like that while she was attempting to fix her up. "Sorry about all of that, commotion." Revering to just walking out of the brush without warning. "Just got excited to see other people I guess..." He walked closer to the medic, though it was at that time when he realized how close to death he actually came that day. He was covered in blood of at least two different species, and his uniform was covered in plasma burns. "The blood's not mine. I don't know who it used to belong to, but it's not mine. The burns are though. Just do something to help it from getting infected and can handle it when I get some time to sleep." He tried to speak to the medic. A couple of his words were starting to slur though, he was physically and mentally exhausted. He wouldn't let that stop him though, he was too stubborn for that. Though he did get a little bit more awake at the sight of a nice shinny needle.

He brought his attention to the ODST when he started speaking. Eventually he responded to another remark about his poor idea of walking into an armed crowed of uneasy people. "Again, sorry about that. Name's Private Hunter P. Mudak. Secondary marksmen of Birdock team. Third Marksmen of my entire squad. You need someone shot I can probably do it. Might need some more caffeine first but I can probably do it still." He was trying to sound confident, he was glad it was dark enough that no one could see his eyes. He can only imagine they are probably bloodshot by now, that happened a lot when he was stressed and exhausted.

He motioned back to the medic. "You have a name? Or is the girl working on making sure I don't die secretly a machine who is getting ready to plant a probe inside of me? Because surprisingly I am not into that kind of thing. SO knowing now would be nice." He said this jokingly, trying to make a crappy situation better.

The ODST mentioned something about moving on to a new objective. Hunter zoned out for a moment, only catching the end of it. He said something about a rally point of some kind, were they going to take out a base? Or set up an outpost of some kind? That would be a nice change of things. Hunter was motioned to again though, about guns and ammo. "I'm armed sir, rifle's a bit beaten up but it still works. And I still have a good backup if it comes to that sir, I haven't used it since I made it to the ground yet." He had another back up, but fighting aliens with a small survival hatchet didn't seem like a fun idea.

Take your time! As said before, this isn't a high-demand post RP. Looking forward to it!

I might have to take some time, I will try to write up a post int he morning. I am at the point of the night where I have to go back and correct every other word. I blame work and my irregular scheduling for being too tired to write at ten.

....or maybe I am getting old.... damn adulthood is a pain. SO yeah I will try to write something up after my coffee in the morning. Or during, I drink a lot of coffee in the morning and afternoon and at night and I might have a problem....
POSTED! Sorry if it is a little rushed near the end, I kinda got a little tired and I got worried about screwing it up while being half asleep.

The remains of the old ship were spread out over a half mile or so, with the exception of the other half of the ship which got scattered and destroyed in orbit. Asap came to the conclusion that no one on the ship knew how to fly a ship. Which was probable. What was left of the ship that had been sitting for years letting the local plant life grow all over it. Inside and out. Asap wasn't too pleased about it, but waking up once every couple of years didn't leave a lot of time for grooming the local wildlife. It didn't help the ship was full of holes and a large portion of the ship was missing, including the armory with the guns. Asap didn't like that, there were a lot of aggressive things on this planet. Not that he couldn't take them on one at a time, but it's not like there are spare parts lying about he can fix himself up with. Just whatever he could find around the ship and the colony. Lucky most the damage he has taken had been surface damage, and his communication antenna. Those were easy to fix. Scrap metal to replace the broken bits, and there were plenty of radios that were as least as old as this skeleton of his.

What got his attention though was an energy spike, not far from his position actually. A mining colony that he believed the previous owners of his ship were trying to loot. But he didn't see anything that could just accidentally start the place last time he was there, then again he didn't really search it that hard. But chances are that means someone is here now, someone with a ship. A ship he could probably figure out how to fly, it doesn't even need to fly well. Just well enough to get noticed by someone who can get him as far as possible away from this hell hole of a planet. Or maybe the people here were not assholes as much as the last ones. Maybe they would willingly give him a ride. Either way it could mean a way off. Though if they had guns that could be a problem. All he had in terms of weapons was a sword he had made using some of the scrap metal. He had his torch but that only could do so much, and it ran off a battery powered by the ship's battery.

Asap grabbed tools he had that might be useful, and his sword. He also grabbed a rather thick looking pipe. He heard that duel weapons were intimidating and if used right could be nice. He was sure that was partially bullshit but chances are whoever they were would be armed and he needed to be ready. He started to leave the ship with his gear, most of it in a duffle bag. On the way out he saw the remains of a mirror. His look hasn't changed too much since he was constructed, but since he started thinking for himself he could actually notice the changes to himself. Staying still for so long he has had dirt from the many storms start to cover him. The scrap metal replacement parts were very noticeable. Especially without the paint to cover them up. Parts that were not replaced were extremely dirty and in many cases dented. Normally for the repairs Asap would need they would just wipe his memory and do a full tune up. Not again, now he was free. Now he was his own being. "Show time." He said calmly as he walked out, sword in hand.

Standing over the colony Asap could tell a few things. There were people, and there was power, and there was a hell of a lot of noise. Though he did not see a ship. He heard the hum of the drill slowly end. That could be automatic, many drills, even the older ones had a lot of safety features. Maybe it reached it's pre-planned drilling depth, or maybe it hit something the computers recognized it shouldn't be hitting? Or maybe someone shut it off when it wasn't supposed to turn on in the first place. Then he heard the shriek, it sounded big, it sounded violent, it sounded like something bigger then a scrap metal sword could take on. "Well this sucks, the moment I make contact someone decides to screw it up for everyone. Including me." He ran his way down the sand to the compound. He had to be careful to not fall, but one of the best parts of being a machine, he had what he considered amazing hand eye coordination.

His makeshift communications device picked up a weak signal, that was all it was good for anyways. Picking up open channel communications right next to them. "Everyone get tot he comm center, NOW!" He had to move, things were getting bad, and if these people died before he found their ship he was as good as dead himself. Reaching the building he saw it's state, it was total shit. Then again abandonment would do that to a place, though wear and tear seemed to have taken a worse toll on it since he saw it years ago. The hatch was still open, walking in he had his makeshift sword ready. The lights were on now, for once he could see considerable easier. He didn't have night vision so it helped. There was definitely recent activity. Infact, there was a lot of activity right now. One of them had shouted something about barricading the building, they needed a lot more then that, but maybe they could funnel whatever was outside and take it on little by little.

The room had a few people in it, though many were not human. Old base programming tried to kick in and tell him to start and fight. He was made in the war to protect humanity, though that was ended a long time ago. "I was going to come in here and say something corny like take me to your leader and give me your ship, though seems like we all have much bigger problems." Emphasizing outside the door. "Hope you have a good stockpile of ammo, my guess is that these people did." pointing to the room around using his sword. He would help with the barricade anyways, even if he didn't have selfish motives about it he had base programming. He had to help even if he didn't want to.

@Remipa Awesome
The storm at this point is starting to pass so your ship will be exposed to the surface, if you want you can have ASAP come online and try to enter the station

That is what I was thinking, figured the massive energy surge would be enough to get whatever is still working to be like "Oh shit that's new"
I am aiming to get a post up tonight! or at least write most of it then post it in the morning!
OH MY GOODNESS! I shall try to start a post tonight. I am looking forward to things.
Private Hunter P. Mudak

The day was easy at first, get in the landing ship and get on the ground. Easy said, easy done. Next was to secure a F.O.B. for ground missions. With the amount of troops in place that would need to be done. One had been decided on based on lack of covenant activity and its potential to become a natural stronghold. The position was secured fast enough, but a large portion of the troops were not as lucky to make the landing. A little less then a single company made landfall in the correct location, out of the whole battalion that was sent in to fortify the potential Forward Operating Base. Hunter thoughts the events were odd, his particular unit didn't have much of any contact when landing. When the pelicans went to return to retrieve supplies and more troops, that is when things started to go south. It took less then ten minutes before all the available landing craft in the area were shot down or disabled. Air support was still present, but on a very minimal level. Most of the company was picked off within the next hour trying to scramble for cover. Many of the potential fortifications were dependent on AA guns that never made it to the land.

Hunter found himself dragging another soldier from his platoon. He didn't know the fellow soldier's name, only that they needed help and that were was a lot of blood. Machinegun fire shot off from behind him over his head and acted as suppression fire against some of the hostiles that were trying to kill him. The explosions went off behind him sending the makeshift structure into ruins as well as the machinegun giving him coverfire. He tried to pick up the injured soldier in attempts to move him faster, thinking that dragging was easier, but he just lost the only thing keeping them safe. The moment he did so bright purple needles struck their chest, soon exploding sending blood and bits of their uniform everywhere. "Holy Shit!" Hunter screamed as the Marine's life ended.

He dropped the corpse and ran as plasma and other less then fun sounding lasers went by him. He stopped only to try and return fire, only to be forced to keep running. Every once and a while he would come across more soldiers across the makeshift fort. Every time it would end the same, the Covenant would catch up, the wounded would be dragged away, and more would die. Soon he found himself outside the landing zone with his fireteam. Somehow they all made it out alive. He wasn't sure if he was pleased or pissed. He was still on mixed terms with most of them. "Corporal, the fort's gone. What's the situation with our evac? They're killing us back there." The varying gunshots could still be heard from this position. Despite what Hunter had been through it didn't look like his fireteam was doing much better. There was conflict on their current front, so Private Mudak was sent to retrieve more ammunition. Luckly they held out. Not by a lot, Hunter could see that most of the ammunition pouches on his corporal were empty or had empty magazines in them.

His corporal started to speak. "Ride's not coming, most the ships got shot out of the sky after dropping us off. We're stranded. We're not reading anything from Burning hope either. Comm's officer says he isn't reading anything from the whole fleet. Things are bad out here." His team leader took a sip from his canteen before speaking again. "We're traveling on foot to the next closest outpost. We believe it's about a ten hour walk from here. Hopefully what arms and ammunition hold out until then." Hunter was in shock hearing Higgins, they had been there for less then two hours and already most of the company that did land had been killed. The Corporal seemed like he was struggling to speak now. "There's talk... There's talk about leaving behind the wounded, and anyone else who can't make it that far. To save time... The current commanding officer is trying to spread ideas of... using them as bait, and looting them for ammunition." He broke out into a some kind of mix between laughing and crying. "To make it worse, I think I am agreeing with them! The only reason I haven't yet is because I don't think we'd make it that far either way." This lecture continued for a while. It only stopped when Hunter eventually cut him off.

Hunter barely able to speak cut off his team leader nervously. "Sir, they're getting close. If we leave now, we can still make it before it gets too dark." The Corporal just looked up at the young private. "The... The order hasn't been given yet." He spoke it like a true panicked soldier. Hunter didn't hate his squad, but he wasn't going to get himself killed because his officers were too scared to act. "Okay then, I'll just... Go see what I can see then." He left, seeing his team leader for what he thought would be the last time in his life. Now he just wondered who would live longer, himself or the Corporal. Ass of right now, he was AWOL, even if it was just to regroup with other troops.

For hours he could hear the explosions behind him, hearing the cries for help, the screams of pain, the rambling of those few who happened to survive a little bit longer, and when the battery in his headset died, only his own thoughts. "Dammit." Part of his wanted to pull out his personal radio, the little crank he might still be able to pick up some channels of chatter. But he wouldn't be able to reply, and the crank on that thing was not a quiet at all. So now everything was quiet, it had been a long time since he had seen any signs on life, and he wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. He was exhausted though, and his water ran out a couple hours ago. He would be fine for a bit bit he needed water by tomorrow if he was to keep pace. At least it was dark now. Now nothing could see him, unless they had night vision goggles... or had natural night vision... Do any aliens in the Covenant have that? Hunter wasn't sure off the top of his head. He also started to think that he really couldn't see that well. He knew the general direction he needed to go to get to the out-post. His whole company did. But the exact position he wasn't sure. Maybe he could find it by the sounds of gunfire.

He could hear the commotion from pretty far. Or maybe it was close and he was bad at telling? Damn he hated second guessing himself like this. Soon he found himself in a rather interesting situation, there seemed to be a fireteam of... Humans? had he made it? He saw the dead elite on the ground. Maybe it wasn't as dark as he thought it was? maybe it was still just exhaustion. He made himself visible, not realizing he still had blood and plasma marks on him. "I come in peace humans." He said half laughing and mostly exhausted. "I heard there was an out-post in this direction? I am lost. And my equipment is more or less useless. SO please tell me you guys know what you're doing?" He was still trying to smile. But he was scared shitless.
