UR TURIBL NURD
I'll go ahead and quote what I said already and add a little more info.

I want to play a goblin warband that has good relations with goblins, REALLY bad relations with orcs, and possibly good relations with human bandits or with a druidic sect (or both). The idea is they're the remnants of a tribe of goblins that was destroyed by orcs, and only the combatants really remain. They do jobs for other goblin tribes, for bandits, and potentially for shady circles of mages, all because that's what their options are limited to right now.

As for a name, I've been thinking about calling them the Nightlurk Warband.

So, the Nightlurk Warband isn't going to be "evil evil evil," nor will they be "goodie two shoes" necessarily. If I had to give them a D&D alignment, I'd probably say "True Neutral" or "Chaotic Neutral." They're putting the survival of the warband (and the possible rebirth of the tribe) first. If that means working for bandits and attacking a lord's caravan or helping dark wizards, so be it. They'd rather not have to harm innocents (like villagers), having had their own village get slaughtered by marauding orcs. If they had to choose between doing something distasteful and being destroyed, however... Well, chances are they'd rather stay alive.

As far as goals for this warband, my thoughts are...

Short-term: Survive. Become famous enough to work for the kingdoms. Make strong allies.
Long-term: Destroy the orcs that slaughtered the Nightlurk Tribe.

@Tracyarmav Please go ahead and post your character sheet in the Characters section. Thank you!
The Age of Gods

It began in the times of yore when Urak impaled the Mountain King upon his own lofty throne. In doing so, Urak destroyed one of the wicked gods and freed man and woman from the tyrant's terrible rule. He became the leader of the Tuad Rithe, replacing King Harnut who died to see the Mountain King destroyed. This ushered in a new age: one of justice, one of peace, and one of adventure.

The Birth of the Clan

Each clan remembers their origins. Through song, through poem, and through the clan tapestry do we honor the deeds of our forefathers and forever keep their memory on our lips.

How did our clan come to be?

  • We fought alongside the Tuad Rithe against the Mountain King's terrible army and formed a new clan.
  • We were always allies of the Tuad Rithe.
  • We came with Urak when he first joined the Tuad Rithe.
  • We hail from across the sea and once worshiped the Sea Tribe.
  • We were among the peoples freed from the Mountain King's tyrannical rule.
  • We fought against the Tuad Rithe, but for our bravery we were given a second chance. @Mardox @Eklispe @Wernher

The Crowning of the Earthlord

Urak now sat upon the mountain throne and held dominion over all Urland. He was crowned King of the Tuad Rithe and wed to Aire. Their marriage was a truly joyous occasion.

What did our people do in this time of revelry?

  • We had much ale and made merry with Urak, whooping and singing and dancing through the night.
  • We conferred with Aire to discuss the future and began weaving our clan tapestry. @Lauder @Lexicon @Wernher
  • We buried the dead alongside Camvor and sang songs to honor their sacrifice.
  • We made way into the serenity of the forest and stood guard with Bodi while others reveled.

@Tracyarmav's vote counts double in the next round.
Personally, it all looks pretty important to me. Me being the sort of fellow I am, I'd probably shove more info into the sheet.
Anyway, the Last Century now begins. What is written cannot be unread, so write wisely!

I'm supposed to be Mesopotamian, not Mayan, although I tried to be slightly eclectic in my influences. But I'm more Mesopotamian than anything else, that's why my women have rights.

Ah, got'cha! Yeah, that makes sense. I just always associate Mesoamerica with ziggurats than any other region of the world.

...Wait, you always link Hurrian Hymns at the start of your post. How did I think of Central America rather than Mesopotamia?
