I am an adult, though I don't usually act like it. I'm a voracious reader, and not overly picky about books. I am artistic in a variety of areas, including music, drawing, writing, and sculpting. I have a minor obsession with dragons, and love the color violet. Fantasy is my preferred genre, be it past, future, urban...as long as it has a fantasy flavor to it. I also like scifi, mystery, and some horror. I am crazy, and I like tormenting my characters. But I don't bite...much. ^.~

@Shoryu Magami It might be worth investing in an external hard drive -- after the computer, of course. That way only one of the two should fail at the same time. I sorta miss the days of floppies, though. Backed everything up on 'em. For some reason I can't burn DVDs and have them be read. Even though my computer is /supposed/ to be able to. x.x

@Dulcet ahahaha, no. I am not entirely sure -- Fallen London isn't very clear on the matter -- but it sounds like it's a bunch of sorrow spiders that somehow become a single creature? So something with a nasty bite and far /far/ too many legs.
@Dulcet Oh, I should clarify. I know Rumple, but if Alys met...whatever this thing is, she probably thought it was a spider council and either wisely left it alone or tried to kill it. ^.^;; In other words, the characters don't know each other.
