To the woefully ignorant, Alex Hannelore is a man. Should one look even a bit closer, they will almost immediately notice that Alex is in fact a woman, who just so happens to look masculine. With short hair, a small array of minor facial scars, and a strong build, Alex certainly fits the bill for a "mannish" woman, and hates herself for it. Oftentimes, Alex will attempt to make herself look more feminine with large amounts of foundation and eyeliner... failing in the process. When not in the full swing of her powers, Alex Hannelore's body language reads rather timid-- her insecurities are brought out in full bloom when there is nothing to distract people from her true appearance. When her powers are fully active, she develops an elegant sort of handsomeness, where masculinity and femininity seamlessly blend together into an impossibly-pleasing form.

Clothing Style:Alex Hannelore dresses conservatively and shabbily at all times. She dresses in simple, comfortable t-shirts, jeans, and jackets. By some sick twist of fate, the ones Alex buys are, as it turns out, men's clothes. Personality:
Alex hides her insecurity under a thick veneer of showmanship and charisma. With an endless array of jokes and smalltalk, Alex puts on airs of being an entertainer-- and allows no dissent on the matter. When given a chance to fully express her inner feelings, Alex grows brusque and emotional, and often refuses to let her partners get a word in edgewise.

Background:
Born in the bustling metropolis of Hoboken to what appeared to be a pair of mortal parents, Alex spent most of her childhood uneventfully, playing games with her friends and watching game shows. Her greatest friends at elementary school were a boy and a girl around her age named Theodore and Lucille, respectively. Theodore greatly enjoyed playing soccer and playing with LEGOs, while Lucille enjoyed whatever Theodore and Alex enjoyed. Together, they were the best of friends. Indeed, they spent almost their entire childhoods together, through middle school and high school. It was only when Alex was selected to go to Olympus Academy and told the truth of her heritage that the three were separated.

Alex, as it turned out, was the daughter of an ancient goddess. One of insurmountable intelligence and creativity. One of profound puzzles and conundrums. A mighty goddess, born not from a womb, but from the very mind of a being. Indeed, Aporia was quite a goddess, and it was Aporia that Alex was born under. The news of this struck Alex like a brick with a note wrapped around it, and her life changed forever. Unceremoniously, Alex was shuttled to the mysterious locale of Olympus Academy, leaving her friends alone alongside the grosses of other people who knew of Olympus's existence. With some trepidation, Alex was admitted into the open arms of the Athenian representatives, and attempted to begin her life anew.

Relationship With Godly Parent:Alex is very close to her mother, considering the relative rarity of people like her. With a strange gusto, Alex's mother bestowed the full breadth of Alex's powers unto her as soon as possible, and commanded her to learn how to use them by her own. Perhaps Alex's mother helps her every day, but no one can see or feel it? Only her mother knows, and she isn't telling.

Godly Abilities:
The Right Price: Alex is capable of singling out up to four people for a small competition. The rules of the competition are simple, but infinitely binding: First to answer three questions correctly gets a material reward of unknown origin and variable wealth. The rewards range from ancient, enchanted trinkets to interesting but ultimately useless children's toys. Though setting up the competition requires up to half a minute to concentration and very conspicuous magic usage, it is impossible to back down from, impossible to cheat with, and very, very fun. All those affected by Alex's power are given a temporary makeover, making them look "TV-presentable".
Impertinent Knowledge: Alex unconsciously understands the solution to any question-- but not how to apply it or how to remember it. When asked a question, any question, Alex will respond with the absolute, most detailed truth. This power is largely useless for solving problems, but is fantastic when the time comes for Alex's magical quiz.
Showwoman's Voice: With considerable effort, Alex can magically add an impossible amount of raw charisma to her voice. Though what she says is not possible of controlling one's mind, it is very attractive and very compelling. For some odd reason, this power manifests exclusively as a suave baritone.

James has brown hair, dark brown eyes, and stands at 5'7".  He prefers not to style or even brush his hair, letting it do what it wants, so to speak.  His eyes are deceptively innocent at most times, but when he really gets serious, you can see it.  He has a charismatic smile and several scars from monster attacks, although he mostly keeps them hidden.  He's lean, but decently strong, with a runner's build.  His hands are those of a magician, quick-moving and almost never still.  His face is a handsome one, but when he gets angry, he looks downright frightening.

Clothing Style:
When he can, James prefers to dress sharply, usually in black pants, a white button up, and a dark blue vest.  For his tricks, he usually rolls up his sleeves.  When dressing sharply is a bad idea, he wears dark jeans, blue or green short-sleeved shirts, and occasionally a navy hoodie.  No matter what else he's wearing, he always wears black running shoes.

James is, to all outward appearances, a confident, slightly cocky showoff.  He's pretty friendly to almost everyone, but he only lets his guard down around the few he trusts the most.  He always knows at least seven different ways to get out of any room he enters, and he makes sure that one of those exits are within his sight at all times.  If you gain his trust, there's no better friend; if you betray his trust, you'll never regain it.  He is also a master lier.

Background:
Until he was seven, James lived with his magician mother and his environmental scientist stepfather.  A few days after his seventh birthday, however, both died in a car crash.  Refusing to go into the foster system, he ran away three times but was always found and brought back.  His fourth attempt, when he was fifteen, actually worked.  He made his way across the country, performing card tricks and sleight of hand to earn a living.  He turned to small-scale thievery when he was sixteen, using his magic skills to distract while he divested his targets of their wallets.  Now, at eighteen years of age, he has come to Olympus Academy, almost entirely by accident.

Relationship With Godly Parent:
James doesn't get along that well with Hermes.  He's angry that the god let his mother die and never helped him.  Hermes wants a better relationship with his son, but at the moment, James is still too angry with him to try.

Godly Abilities:
Persuasion - James can persuade almost anyone.  Usually, this power/skill is used to convince people that he would never dream of stealing their wallet/watch/priceless work of art.  It's gotten him away from several policemen and from those angry enough to take the law into their own hands.

Stealth - When he needs to be, James is one of the stealthiest people not currently employed by one of the multiple spy organizations.  This is what lets him pull off some seemingly impossible thefts, and is also very useful for playing pranks.  No one will ever catch him, and if they do, he'll persuade them that they must be mistaken.

Hector is, quite frankly, a man carved from marble and painted the most gorgeous of shades. His muscles are well-toned, his body maintained, and his face pleasing. His 200 pounds of muscle stands on a frame six feet and four inches tall. His black hair is kept fluffy with asymmetric bangs, and some have gone so far as to liken his hairstyle to a lion's mane. His cold blue eyes hint at an icy intellect behind his pretty face. Finally, his skin seems to never vary from its lightly tanned state, regardless of the time he spends beneath the sun.

Clothing Style:
Hector has the smooth, minimalistic style down to a T. It probably helps that his body is shaped so well, allowing him to make just about any clothing look good; however, he prefers to keep things plain. He most commonly wears a well-fitted white or blue t-shirt tucked into his dark denim jeans, which are fastened by a black leather belt. He prefers comfortable black leather boots to tennis shoes, as in his opinion he gets more mileage from them.

Hector seems at first to be a bit of a meathead. He sticks to his exercise routine and scoffs at those who don't. However, Hector is constantly thinking about... something, something apparently very important to him. In conversations that seem to drag, he crosses his arms and seems to mentally drift away. When alone and not otherwise occupied, he'll begin to walk circles as he contemplates his thoughts. What is he thinking about? Maybe you should ask him.

Background:
Hector's childhood was fairly normal. His father was a member of the National Guard known to have rescued many in natural disasters. The other kids at his school would tease him about not having a mom, but he knew. He knew he was above these riff-raff, and he knew that a time would come when their positions would be changed. All the while, he built himself up, working toward becoming a strong man so he could reach that time if only a little bit sooner.

Hector learned of his divine lineage on his fifteenth birthday. Then, he met Hecate herself face to face, and she presented him with two paths: on one, he would go on living as a human and it would be as if she had never arrived. The other path, however, led to Olympus Academy, the school for his fellow demigods. She gave him a year to decide which path to take, but he stopped her before she vanished; the son of the Goddess of Crossroads knew exactly which path he would take. Thus he came to Olympus Academy, and has been here for five years since.

Hecate has kept a fairly hands-off relationship with Hector. She appears when he reaches a crossroads in his life, merely watching him as he chooses his path forward. However, as a deity of guarding, she has silently protected him throughout his life, though not enough to coddle him. In the end, it seems to be an indirectly favorable relationship.

Godly Abilities:
Otherworldly: At its most basic level, this is the ability to use magic. Hector's power grows as he learns more ways to use it, making it quite useful once mastered but useless at first. Hector discovered it only recently and has been working with it almost constantly ever since.
Be-all: Hector has the uncanny ability to guard against things in general. Throw a rock at him? Caught. Throw a punch? Deflected. Shoot a gun? Well...
End-all: An ability that will "prevent Hector from losing his life, but only once." Hecate gave Hector this power directly on his fifteenth birthday, but refused to tell him any more.

Gary Crowe is a curious looking individual who stands at 5'6". His hair is always in a perpetually rustled state and has a noticeable layer of grunge and dandruff. His pupils tend to be dilated wide open and are prone to twitching. If he is not wearing shoes, his toenails have a distinctive sickly yellow tinge to them. And to perceptive individuals he has a noticeable grape scent about him, that is from some off-brand cologne. 

Clothing Style: Gary does not have a true set style when it comes to fashion. He mostly throws on whatever he manages to find. Though with that being said, Gary tends to openly sport a straight jacket that hasn't been fastened shut. Personality:
Gary is what some kind people would call 'enigmatic'. Other less kind people would refer to him as 'deranged'. Despite these views of him, boy is rather friendly and tries to hospitable to others. He is eager to provide entertainment and help others indulge in joyful activities. The boy is always upbeat even in the strangest of situations. Gary is prone to engage in strange habits, whether or not people are watching. If someone brings up the fact that Gary is acting 'weird', he will either intentionally tone it up or try to contain it. But one thing is for sure about Gary, something is off.

Background:
Gary's story begins in the city of Los Angeles. He was raised in Green Meadows to his impoverished mother, who barely had any time to watch him. As a latchkey kid, the boy had an unfettered amount of freedom. Namely this involved him engaging in hedonistic affairs, in order to amuse himself. At first his idea of fun was mundane, such as getting booze, but it gradually involved into far more baffling tastes, such as hanging himself upside down on a thin cord while huffing paint. 

At age thirteen his youthful shenanigans got him on the wrong side of the law, and he was held in the drunk tank for that night. Upon his release his mother explained to him about the strange method about his conception. It was after that rather detailed description, which would be inappropriate to mention around impolite society, he learned that he was the spawn of Dionysus. As he tried to sleep, and forget about that mental image, he was given information in this hazy state. It was then he learned of the existence of Olympus Academy, and he knew he had to attend it as per the message he recieved.

Gary is not close to Dionysus on a personal level at all. In fact Dionysus is unaware that Gary is his son at all. However on a superficial level, Dionysus knows the kid can throw a good party.

Gibbering Ecstasy - People within Gary's presence feel a strong sense of jubilation, and if kept in his presence they will start to suffer uncontrollable spasms, hallucinations and can be brought into a comatose state.
Simply Intoxicating - Gary can induce various levels of intoxication in others.

Delilah's dark brown locks are curly and long to the point where they almost reach her waist. Most of the time she leaves it down but ties it up when she is gardening. Her cheeks are rosy and filled with life and her blue eyes are framed by her long eyelashes. Delilah is more on the short side, standing at only 5"2. She has a petite body type or as her father would have said "she's as skinny as a stick and as flat as a board". While she does occasionally wish she was better endowed or taller, she is rather comfortable with her body. Having a goddess as her mother was advantageous as she never had to deal with acne, scars, or other flaws on her skin.     

Clothing Style:
While working in her garden, she would wear blue-jean overalls with a plain t-shirt underneath. While she is just hanging out with friends or at the academy, she is usually seen wearing a lot of sundresses or maxi dresses with floral patterns. For footwear, she would honestly prefer to go barefoot, but wears sandals as the next closest thing and gladiator sandals if she wants to be fancy.

Delilah is a kind girl who always tries to see the best in everyone even if they have done many wrong things in the past. She is humble and rarely brags, nor does she find any reason to. And once she is fooled, she is still quick to forgive and still believes in them.

Background:
Delilah grew up with a single dad in Sacramento, California. She spent most of her life helping her father out on their farm. Always cheerful and glad to help, she never once thought about where her mother might be and easily accepted her father's lack of an explanation. All she knew was that to her father, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and that things were complicated. 

Life on the farm was a peaceful one, and the harvest always turned out well, which was no surprise. Until one day, the Academy came to claim her as Demeter's daughter and take her to their school for demi-gods. She was sad to leave her father behind, but excited for the new life ahead of her. As she was saying goodbye to her father, Demeter sent her a message assuring her that her father would be fine on his own and that the goddess herself would make sure his farm will continue to thrive.

Life and Growth: Delilah has the ability to speed up the growth of plants and even revive them when they are dying or dead.
Weather "Manipulation": Like her mother, Delilah has the ability to change the weather based on her mood. Though it is not something she has quite controlled yet, so one should be cautious. She can be cheerful one moment allowing the skies to be clear and sunny but if someone upsets her, a storm could suddenly brew.

Nice character but if Demeter is the Goddesses of Harvest, I don't think she would have Weather Manipulation abilities but maybe she could have Geokinesis instead? As radiant as the sun, Vivian Annabelle Corette has beauty that is unmatched to anyone within the Acadamy. From the way her blonde hair gleams in the sunlight to her blue eyes, Vivian exemplifies how a child of the god of the sun should look like. Everything about her is simply marvelous. She fancies herself with bold, black eyeshadow to make her eyes pop even more than they already do. Easily, her eyes are her most identifiable feature as they are the first thing that anyone notices about her. That's a good thing since the eyes are the window to the soul and Vivi invites anyone and everyone into her soul.

Height isn't a problem for her since she towers over the average female at a height of sixty-nine inches. Her weight rolls around the one-hundred-and-forty pounds neighborhood. As such, her body type is definitely within the slightly lean department as seen by her muscle definition and her modest curves. Pretty much everything about her is, while simplistic in some areas, is also very desirable. Her positive outlook on life makes her even more desirable than her physical body could ever hope to.

Clothing Style:
One word comes to mind when describing Vivian's fashion sense: bold and beautiful. A mixture of vibrant dresses and tops and shorts and jeans of all makes and of all textures. Vivian's clothing really pops when she is in a crowd. It's as if one could tell it's her by the bold attire choices. She ranges from dresses of pastel colors to tops with the boldest of yellows and pinks. Shoes, for her, are at their highest peak when they are covered with designs that are the most random one has ever seen. Her style is her own and there is no other like it.

Personality:
Vivian has always found  the idea of brooding outrageous and completely moronic. Instead of fretting on all of the possibilities that may or may not happen, she would prefer to go out and experience life. She would much prefer to go on adventures and live every day as if it were her last. She doesn’t hesitate to challenge herself by going out of her comfort zone if it meant that she would be able to experience the great big book called life and all the twist and turns it has within it.

As she observes people and what they do, forming connections and ideas in the process, Vivian never holds her tongue, which means that she’s always excited about her findings and shares them with anyone who will listen. This infectious enthusiasm  has the duel benefit of giving her social connections and giving her a new source of information and experience as she fit her new friends’ opinions into her existing ideas. This is further expanded in her great communication skills. Due to the fact that she has such strong people skills. If she didn’t, she’d never be able to express her countless ideas that brew in her noggin. 

Vivian enjoys both small and deep, meaningful conversations, which are two sides of the same interesting conversation. For her, the way she approaches subjects and how she steers them comes off as completely natural and unforced. It’s as if her positive energy is what fuels her that infectious energy that makes people want to be near her, or in this case, keep on conversing with her.  Perhaps, when it all comes down to it, Vivian is just a positive, and popular teenager who is the life of the party, that one gleaming star in a constellation that will always steer you in the right direction. Perhaps she is the North Star of the Demigods. 

Vivian is so loved and adored by those within the Half-Blood camp. Perhaps it’s the approachable vibe she puts out  that lures in people within her circle. Like, a weird, quirky yet completely balanced combination of adaptability and spontaneity that makes her so approachable, interesting, and exciting. Perhaps combined with that, it’s also her altruistic spirit and friendly, empathetic disposition that makes her such a beacon of positivity. She can get along with just about anyone from almost all walks of life.


Background:
She really never had a chance. Vivi was always surrounded by positive vibes even when growing up. You see, her mother, Anastasia Corette,  was(and still is) what people called a Hippy. That meant that her mother was all about peace and love and negativity, man. Due to that, most of Vivi’s life was spent in various camps with fellow hippies.

And she loved every minute of it. Usually girls like Vivian would be totally against that life, but not her. Maybe it was because of how symbolic her mother was and how philosophical she was during Vi’s early years. Or maybe it was due to the fact that her father -- a Greek God -- was such a positive influence on her mom. Whatever the case, Vivian never once complained about her life growing up or even when her father had to leave around her tenth birthday. 

When he left, Vi was upset as any girl at her age would be. She knew little of who he was(her mother filled her in on it later on in her life). She only knew that he and her mother fell in love instantly(a love-at-first sight type of deal) and that, during the ten years that he was with them, she was at her happiest. That’s all that really mattered to Vi. Even when she would look back on the pain she felt when he left, she now understood why he did it. Something about the Olympian Law or whatever. Regardless, her relationship with Apollo is all better. 

There’s no resentment or anger on either side. Because she is daddy’s little girl. It just so happens to be that daddy is a god and the “little girl” is a demigoddess.

Relationship With Godly Parent:
With all things considered, Vi and Apollo are on good terms. She understands that minimal contact is allowed and he can't be there for her every waking minute of her life and she's okay with that. Every once in a while, Apollo visits Vi in some way, shape, or form. She knows that if she really needs him, he'll be there for her in a heartbeat. She is, after all, his little girl. He will move heaven and earth to make sure she didn't get harmed, even if that meant breaking Olympian law.


Godly Abilities:
Light In The Room
As it is with her father in having the power of healing via the means of medicine, Vivian’s very presence is able to heal those around her. Her joyous attitude and constant positive vibes create a golden aura around her and emit a healing factor to those within a small radius that can heal minor injuries. As an added bonus, her aura can also cure any bad vibes within that radius. So, things like negative thoughts(think suicidal or anger kinds) or even aspects of corruption can be dispelled and extinguished almost instantly. Well, that is, to an extent.

You Can’t Lie To Me
Vivian is like a living, breathing, lie detector. Her ability to spot when someone is lying is even on par to her father, Apollo and it has been noted as such. She is able to know when someone is lying or not by the little things that most don’t often notice. Like, the little ticks that people do in their faces, their body language, sudden quietness or sudden rants. She picks up on these things so quickly that she deduces that something is amiss. This goes two ways too. Just as she is able to detect lies, Vivian is able to lie her ass off. It’s probably a two sides of the same coin-type of deal. Whatever it may be, the fact of the matter is that Vi has talents of detecting lies and telling them.

The Sun Feels Good
Obviously something that is a shared trait from her father, Vivian gets a boost of overall conditioning from the sun. It’s nothing major, but when she is in the direct sunlight, her body begins to glow faintly of golden orange. This sudden and faint glow then empowers her body with the spirit of the sun, which allows her body to enhance its most basic of feats such as strength and speed. Though, barely past the enhanced level, this sudden burst of physical abilities puts her past the human restraints. The longer she stays in the sunlight, the longer that she can maintain this enhanced state. 

Anytime she enters the shade, her enhanced capabilities are severely drained to just slightly above human levels. If she stays out of sunlight for over two minutes, her enhanced state disappears altogether. The same can be applied for nighttime, but instead of it gradually fading away, it’s gone the minute the sun is gone from view.
