DISCLAIMER: First of all, I do not own anything remotely related to MTV or The Real World series, itself. Secondly, I got the Miami idea from a Tumblr prompt that I saw so credit goes to the originator of that idea.

The hit reality television series, The Real World was first broadcasted in the year of 1992 and originally produced by Mary-Ellis Bunim and Johnathan Murray. The television show is one of MTVβs longest running reality series and longest running program in history. It was heavily inspired by the 1973 groundbreaking documentary reality series entitled βAn American Familyβ, which followed the lives of The Loud Family as they were being taped. The Real World is to be credited for launching the modern reality television genre, with a group of young adults picked to live in a new city together in one residence while being filmed non-stop. While living in the house for several months, cameras record their interpersonal relationships and depict the issues that delve within their young-adulthood lives.
The Real World has been known to cast young adults from the ages of 18-25 and is usually selected from thousands of applicants from across the country. The cast members that are chosen typically represent different races, genders, sexual orientations, levels of sexual experiences, and religious and political beliefs. The cast usually consists of seven to eight people but this year, that number will double. If a cast member decides to move out or is asked to move out by his or her roommates, a replacement is usually casted but that depends on how much time is left for filming.
The roommates stay within the house rent free, of course but they do need a job to pay for amenities unless they bring enough money to carry them for the entire summer. This year, the house is situated in Miami, Florida and it is about fifteen minutes away from Miami Beach.
Ah, Miami, Florida. Miami is the city where most people, teenagers and adults alike, come only to let lose or get wild, or even both. It has been easily considered party central, with more clubs and bars lined up side by side and more than one person can count. Thereβs no lack of the nightlife, with the bright lights and the beaches as far as the eye can see. But the party scene isnβt for everyone, of course but it is up to you whether or not you will partake in such a lifestyle.
In the few months that you have in your whole entire life, youβll be pushed and pulled in different directions by people that you thought you would never associate with. Some of the roommates will probably hookup, fight then make up and even fall in love without realizing it.
But the true question remains that you must ask yourself. Are you really ready to leave everyone and everything behind for something so new and so excited? Donβt be shy because the thirteen other roommates have already answered that question so now, itβs your turn.

Phillip's phone chimed and chimed as he sat on the top of his trunk, waiting for Cecilia to make her presence known before him. He let out a soft sigh as he jumped down from his trunk and walked right on inside, sitting at his familiar table and looked down at his phone and saw a text from Cecilia. Of course, Phillip being Phillip, he didn't bother to reply since her message was well known that she was on her way. No sense of texting her back, really. His eyes glanced outside of the window that he sat beside and his phone chimed again - It was Nylah. He knew that she'd be a little bit upset with him for bailing and not telling her about it earlier.

Phillip sent the text message just as soon as Cecilia was singing happy birthday and waltzing her way towards him. When she kissed him upon his cheek, he couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle and blush. But due to his skin complexion, anyone could hardly tell when he was blushing or not. "I might just have my usual Banana Bread Muffin and Mocha Frappe. You know me." Phillip stated just as his phone chimed again. "How have you been though?" Phillip asked as if they haven't seen each other in ages. Before Cecilia answered him though, he typed a reply towards the little group chat.

I am down for a costume contest! I am definitely going as Envy. Already got a costume and not taking it back! Brother on a budget, yo. LOL. Also, Keiran, I am not sure how to answer your question. :(

Again, Phillip sent those messages out then looked over at Cecilia. "Sorry. The gang." Phillip said just as a waiter came over and asked for their order. He had gave his just as the waiter turned over towards Cecilia. Whenever the waiter was to walk away, his attention would turn back towards the female present in front of her and smile a little. "So, you know there's a Saint Patrick's Day Parade happening just mere hours before my party. Would you like to go?" Phillip asked her and wondered if she really wanted to go or not.
