The constant bickering between Leanne and their mentor,
Winifred, was close to getting his nerves as he groaned while his head rested into the palm of his hand. They were bickering about god only knows what as he had been tuned them out as the train progressed towards the capitol, a place he had dreaded coming back to since he became a victor of the games. It was whenever Leanne shouted his name multiple times that he was pulled from his thoughts and turned his gaze over towards her along with Winifred.
"Can you please tell Miss Know-It-All here that we're going to win the games again for our district?" Leanne said as she eyed him but before he could respond, Winifred spoke up and the bickering started up between the two ladies once again. Finally Cobi stood up and walked over towards them and the bickering seized for the moment as they watched him towered over them.
"Cobi, what's wrong, honey?" Winifred asked as she held a cigarette between her index and middle finger.
"You two yipping about during this whole train ride. Can't you two just keep the peace for the remaining minutes of the ride?" Cobi stated then questioned the two women before him as they all looked at each other and Leanne nodded her head.
"I can but can't speak for lady bitch here." Leanne muttered as Cobi rolled his eyes because that started up Winifred again and Cobi just wasn't having it so he decided to go into the bathroom and just sit there until the two of them knew how to coexist with one another. With a sigh, he looked into the mirror before him now and started to run the faucet as he clasped his hands together and placed them underneath the running water. From there, he proceeded to throw the water in his face then grabbed a nearby towel and dabbed his face dry.
Once he exited the bathroom, he felt the train start to slow up and quickly went into the compartment where Leanne and Winifred were present as whenever he entered, Leanne eyed him.
"We're here." She mentioned towards him now as he went over towards the window and stared out of it, seeing the people that were present, welcoming them back to the capitol after so long. Cobi scoffed at their little fake cheering as the train finally came to a halt on the tracks.
'Oh, great.' Cobi thought to himself as Winifred walked past him with a smile and Leanne followed her off the train.
Before he fully got off of the train, his eyes flashed up and out as he stood there and let the air around him absorb his mood.
"Coming, darling?" Winifred questioned towards Cobi as he was snapped out of his thoughts then walked off of the train and stood beside Leanne, who was trailing closely from Winifred behind her. Once the three of them walked through the double doors that led into a meeting or introduction area, Cobi's eyes looked around as Leanne spoke.
"Remember, these people are not our friends but our enemies." Cobi nodded at her words then walked further into the building as he bumped into someone.
