Frieza had fallen. She could feel the battle had made her stronger. Her goal had been met. Now, she should either head out now, or train some more.

Before Kaliflur had time to think on this properly, the comm went off. It was Alice's voice. The rest of them were in trouble and they needed her help. If the others were in trouble, she didn't stand a chance. Nevertheless, she was honor-bound to try. She turned off the training room, opened the door, and flew out the base, rocketing through the halls of the facility and causing papers to fly everywhere. When she was out of the lab, she sped to where the fighting was taking place.

Everyone was on the ground, and the new being was in the air, charging up. That was not an overall good sign. It means that the enemy had taken first, second and third blood. Her first priority was to stop him from charging up whatever attack he would unleash.

She flew right to him and delivered her strongest punch to his face. Even if it didn't hurt him, it should at least break his concentration. She powered up to her maximum of 400,000, and took a defensive stance.

"I'm not going to quit until one of us is no longer fighting, so bring it!"
Thanks!
"What is the most valuable commodity?" The man in black asked.

A few of the scruffy men inside the van looked at each other.

"Money," said one. "It's gotta be money."

"Women," said another. "A nice bedwarmer would make me happier that all your stupid money."

"Guns," said a large, imposing figure at the back. "The power of life and death, in your hands."

The man in black smiled. "All very good answers," he said, "But the real answer is secrets. One carefully spilled secret can put guns in the hands of millions. Secrets is what you'll be stealing for me today. And if you suceed, you'll get your money, you'll get your guns, you'll get your women. Anything you want. Just get me this disk."

The man in black produced a picture, and passed it around the people in the van.

"I've chosen you from various small time project gangs because you impressed me." He went around the circle. "Your real names don't concern me. I will give you new ones, and if BESC get hold of you, they're your only names, and you never saw me."

"You are Red Fox." he said, pointing at the young man with the shaved head to the right of him. He carried on with the rest of them, pointing to each in turn. "Blue Minc. White Tiger, Green Snake, Yellow Falcon, Purple Frog, Grey Horse, the big guy is Brown Bear, and you are Pink Rabbit." He finished on the token girl in the van.
Talest Jot-Anne had been stealing a cache of heavy weapons from a man called "Bik the Butcher". She had been cut off from the rest of her runners and they left her for dead. She managed to escape the butcher's men by jumping out of an open-air stairwell and catching the rain four stories down. The man in black had been watching, and less than an hour later, she was sitting in a van driving down an interdistrict road. For a first job, that went quite well. Still some time to recover from all this trauma, danger and physical exhaustion would have been welcomed.

'Pink Rabbit'. That would be her name now, until the mission was over. She stared at the disc in the picture. It looked like any other disc to her, but luckily, from what she understood in the conversation during the drive, the one called 'Green Snake' was the one would would be finding the disc. It was her job to run it from 'checkpoint B' to 'Home Base'. The map of their target building was on the floor too. She could memorize her route easy enough, it being two straight lines, but memorizing the whole building? She'd need a few days at least. Whoever designed it didn't have simplicity in mind. If anything went wrong before the Disk fell into her hands....No. She shouldn't think like that. She should focus on doing her job right.

The van came to a stop. This was it...
Violet's clothes were a little roughed up from the barrage, but besides that, she wasn't injured. Her arms had been shielding her face. As soon as the barrage was over, but before the smoke died away, she launched a punch straight at his chest. She could have snuck behind him and assaulted his unguarded areas, but this wasn't a fight to win. This was a fight to gauge the strength of her opponent. Her punch was designed to be countered. Oddly, her body was streamlined. Her free arm was level with her ribcage, and her legs were arced behind her a little. Everything but her face was guarded. A smart warrior would see that she was trying to get him to hit her face, and anticipating her opponents moves would give her an advantage.
Interesting. Maybe we could either discuss how she'd get in with them, or possibly collab.
Have any need for a runner/thief?
Okie dokie

Is there anyone else in a gang?
Skywhistle paused, then set down her shield, spear, and took off her helmet. As she loosened the straps of her armor, she looked in thought.

"It's...hard to explain. I just know I have to be there. Besides, I don't think I want to stay a Hoplite. They have to do horrible things. They have to do them so often that they could eventually murder a whole city full of fillies and feel nothing. This war's gone on long enough, and fighting until there's one house left cannot be the best way to end it. That's what I believe. I came here...because I hope that there is an answer in these walls."

She took her armor off, and cast it aside. Her whole life's work. The last strings of pride she had left. Now she was naked, besides her sword, but she had to give that up to. She fiddled with the strap holding the sheath to her body, but then her ears pricked and she turned. There was another Pegasus approaching. If they were still loyal, they wouldn't give up until they had given the severed head of the Disgraced to Rainbow Dash herself. Wouldn't that be the highest honor?

Skywhistle drew her sword, and pointed it at Swift Star.

"You there!" She shouted, trying not to let the fear show in her voice. "Why are you here?" There was no question she could kill a common soldier, but could she bring herself to kill her sister-in-arms? Even after deserting, committing a little more treason felt incredibly wrong. She really had to hope that this Pegasus was a deserter like her, and not a glory seeker, still loyal to the flag.
Well, Taleste will be a thief/runner for some kind of gang in the Projects. I was wandering if she could end up working for the same gang Vex is in, or are they too big time?
I'm losing track of the criminal factions. Is the Red Cross on the front page of the OOC?
