It would be kind of funny if when he tries to become a new powerful form, he messes up and the result of the transformation looks like a terrible copy with a different shape and features. I guess it's like that one episode in pokemon where ditto would try to copy something, but it had a few things that made it looks weird lol.

Mhmm yeah maybe that could work. Since small sized creatures like the mini dragon is way easier to transform into.

Yeah, it's because of that he can't. It has to be the original form basically. It's why he can't transform into Jamie either. So he'd only be able to turn into her human form if he ever saw it.
