There was something about the Council too, but I don't remember what it was. It's been awhile since I watched that episode.

This, according to the wiki, is why she was arrested. Which by memory, is accurate. Because I do not think at that time Fairy Tail went against the Council. Natsu was pretty much thinking it in order to save Erza, but in the end got thrown in with her while she explained it was all a facade.
Everyone was telling him "No you can't go against them! You'll get your ass kicked!"
She was basically being taken responsible for all the destructive shit Fairy Tail tends to do. XD

Well, keep in mind that even in the show, Erza was punished as a reminder who's in power and all that. Maybe that's all that happens.

Wait wasn't that incident over just destroyed mayhem(while saving the city from Lullaby but ended up destroying a lot) instead of total overthrow of the Council? O.0 Which either way, would not like ok good for them from the outside because the corruption wasn't as obvious as Fairy Tail saving a city and the Guild Masters from a giant tree monster?

Agreed though I think I understand Jamie's thought process. Even if I don't agree.
They just don't want the Guild Members to be held accountable for the attack on the Council when it was responsibility of the GM that gave out the plan. So Jamie probably feels that full punishment should go for them instead of the actual Guild. So there fore, leaving in a attempt to protect the Guild.
But I don't see why this would exactly get the members off the hook. They did take part in it and those who did attend would probably held responsible for ya know. Destroying the entire Council Building and beating up most of the Council members. Karn, at the time not part of the Guild, would probably still be held accountable for thievery and destruction of property and 'attacking' guards. Damian, James, Mayt, Penny, Angelo, Maddox, Melina, Mithera, Sasha, Lazarus for causing harm to people and destruction.
Sooooo. Yeah. I'd think everyone would still be held accountable especially since they did have a choice. But dunno what the enforcement is like so meh xD

Yeah, it's understandable. But she's been doing it a lot since I've been here. XD so now I just kinda see her as a whiny bitchy crybaby. XD granted, she is tired. And I'm tired and sick. So I'm cranky so imma just go back to sleep xD *shrugs and goes back to coughing*
