Though interesting, my VMs count on my profile shows as "1", even though I have 3 (one which is my posting, and two others which were also done by me, but in reply to my original one).

Edit: Never mind. Just realised VM count is only of those in the main branch.

The "Click here and begin writing" doesn't auto vanish when I click on it. No that it matters, but just thought I'd note it here.

I like the nested reply structure - it makes it easy to scan through than a mass collection of post-its. :)

If I was decorating, I'd probably fill my ribbons with random emoticons to confuse my readers. :p

@Mahz On your VM wall, i can't see the white OP text on the blue corner ribbon of your first post. I'm currently posting from mobile, but can still see the OP text on this thread's post corners. I'll see if I can post a screenshot.

Are the trophies meant to be for rare challenges or something more like achievements/collectibles? I had a look at my trophies tab, and it feels a bit empty - like a trophy shelf without trophies. If we're going for an achievements system, maybe we can have a 'gag' trophy like 'The Placeholder' for not yet having earned one? Just a thought :).

@LegendBegins Yeah, that's true about speed posting in RPs. Granted the forum where I came from was a much smaller community with only about 40 regulars. So we weren't that prolific when it came to posting.

@Carantathraiel Interestingly, the forum wasn't Gaia. Though now I know where the equipment system came from. :P

@Mahz I like the idea of having forum trinkets. Trophies sound cool - especially how some of them are coming with 'special abilities'.

I've been in a forum where apart from the usual post ranking system, we also has an equipment system. Granted, the forum was not just about RPs, but the equipment system had quite good uptake.

For each post you would get a point. And you could use those points to buy things that appear under your profile as text. For example, I just used 50pts to buy a Newspaper Hat. And last week I bought a Bulletproof Vest. My profile would look like this next to my post.

Headgear: Newspaper Hat
Armour: Bulletproof Vest
Accessory: Red rose

My profile would have a list of things I had already bought and I can switch between them. Certain sections such as Spam, did not award points for posts. The equipment system did occupy a bit too much space though - especially for those who bought something for every slot.

It's fun in that these beta features can be like Easter Eggs for people to find. And the first time someone visits this thread, we can say "Destiny has brought you to us", fortune cookie style. :)

With 225+ users online at the moment, I think I may have caused a sudden influx of friend adds. :p

Would it be right to say that features posted here can be spread amongst the community? Or are they still not meant for the masses yet?
