Trying to wrap my head around the new tools and bits of the site. Well done, Mahz.

Bio

Née 1991. I feel old already.

Been roleplaying from the age of 15, write on solo projects in my spare time. I heartily encourage interaction when it comes to writing and creative efforts. Like to think I'm an understanding but stern and solid GM when I host games, and a collaborative and creative individual. Used to draw. Write in advanced section.

While I might not be as omni-present a some of you are on RP:G, I have been a part of it since 2009-2010 (if my memory serves me right). However, I must admit that post Guildfall, my activity also dropped. Slowly getting back into things.

I attended university to acquire my master's degree in history. I already had an educational degree for history and English, and am teaching both in secondary school. Any questions? Ask.

From what I've read, Sturvia and Resia could be quite chummy where it comes to both foreign and domestic policy. Reactionaries ftw.
I understand the RP is post-WWII (or its version of it). This is clear. What I meant was that I was willing to work out the history of my nation around yours, because yours is presumably our version of post-WWII Russia (or the closest thing to it). So if I decided to be our Poland, we could work out how I became independent, ect. EDIT: Anyway, I'll think of something later.
Cool, let me know. There's a period of turmoil mentioned in my nation sheet. You could've shaken your leash then.
Oh, herp. I meant post-WWII. And I was referring to yours being post-WWII, not mine.
My nation or Herp's? All our nations would be post-WWII, with post-WWII tech and such. Time is an absolute concept. Your country might not have participated but the war still happened? I'm not sure what you're all getting at :p. But... yes? If you want to collaborate on things.
Something like an Eastern European or Asian country it is for me, then. Thanks for the reroll. If there is a player playing as something like post-Cold War Russia (I thought I read something like it), I wouldn't mind working something out so our histories are somewhat linked somehow.
My nation is built around the premise that the commie revolution failed and instead the old monarchy stayed in place. So I am not sure if that fits your 'post-Cold War Russia', also seeing as this is the start of our story's Cold War.
P.S - how could you make a Frey? :'(
Freys rule the world.
Poppin' this page's cherry. Mind you, this is a WIP. I leave it up to Seuss concerning map location. The colony/-ies mentioned are what Shadowkiller is speaking of.
Sini, what is your super power's ideology?
I've been mulling that over, torn between something Asian or Slavic inspired, but definitely communist flavoured. There are widespread protests in my nation according to the roll, so think reactionary Russia dealing with upstart commies and anti-monarchists. What are you going to do, Boerd? Perhaps we can then start with creating two different ideologies.
@Sini @So Boerd Would either one of you be acceptable with my nation being a former colony of one of yours? My current take on my NS history is that it fought a revolutionary war for freedom against their colonizers from 1929-1935 being the first successful revolution in the world in which a conquered native people kicked out the foreign power that colonized/conquered them. Depending on your nation (upon which is based on a RL nation) it will effect its name and culture etc.
Since Boerd declined, I'll say yes. From what I have of my history, that could tie in with a revolutionary movement on the homefront. Pulling back from fringe territories/colonies coincided with the formation of the new regime (or the beating down of rebels). Imperial overstretch wrecking havoc all around. I'd say my nation has been on the rebound since the latter part of our World War II equivalent.
Awesome. Roll me over.
