My Very Brief Bio

Male, 33 years old. (I'm even more dead than before.)

Likes (other than writing and roleplaying): I'm into all genres of music. I love to cook. I love the outdoors, and walking through the park near my house. (Yes, really.) I read a lot of thriller/mystery novels. And I usually watch seasonal anime. (Or cooking shows. Because Western Media provides even fewer things that are worth watching.)

But as for my many other neglected hobbies, I've played basically every sport. (Soccer and Bowling being my favorite of the bunch.) And I'm trying to play more video games. (Going through my never-ending Steam library.) Plus, I've dabbled in making electronic & metal music, and I used to play a number of instruments. (Guitar, French Horn, etc.)

@Fabricant451 I also agree usually, especially when it comes it immaturity. I don't think cussing is ever something you can call clever. There's some angry songs that might be able to use them effectively, but I tend to not like them anyway. As for that word...Yeah, it is but I still really hate that it is because it really doesn't make any fucking sense for them to use it. >.<

But maybe its because I grew up a evil christian. So I used to just listening to most things that didn't curse at all. (Though unlike rock which I sometimes do think it's better, though I sort of can't stand most christian rap. :P) But I guess it's just personal taste. Though I kind of curse like a sailor because I apparently learned a bunch of words in my daycare as a toddler. Great right? XD

My only real legit musical criticism I can come up with Rap vs Rock when it comes to cursing, that may favor one over the other. Is that rap uses curse words in literally every type of song, party and dance songs, or happy and bragging songs. And cursing usually has to do with strong NEGATIVE emotion, so when angst rock, which is usually the type of rock that curses. The whole song, is moody and angry so cursing as immature as it is, AT LEAST fits the overall theme. It's not like I automatically dislike songs with cursing, or don't like some immature music. But, in general I prefer finding other ways to say someone besides that.

And though metal is still probably the most diverse genre I've ever seen lyrically and musically, which is why it's still my favorite genre, even if I probably listen to more of other genres...And I used to say rap was my least favorite genre. But now, I do greatly appreciate rap, since I've gone on a search for new music craze. Especially, Alt-Rap.

@Fabricant451 'Killin' y'all niggas on that lyrical shit. Mayonnaise colored Benz, I push Miracle Whips'

Hmm...Maybe I should mention, I also tend to find 'pun rapping', rather uninteresting. I also hate the overuse of 'that' word in rapping. Or over reliance on cursing because I find it usually immature, and take points off a song for it as oppose to thinking it makes them better. I guess just differences of opinion. :/

For instance, I think Eminem was talented in his flow and using hooks as more than just stealing others music. But I'd call his most popular album, Scary Movie - The album. Because that's pretty much what it reminded me of.
@Halo

Though, it IS itself literally a joke. I sort of have a feeling there's certain people that don't have senses of humor on here. -.-

So, my own general advice that usually works to having real life friends and people that like being around you.

Have a sense of humor and don't take jokes seriously. You will go farther in life that way too.
This is the thread that never ends, it goes on and on my friend...
@Shorticus I'm not sure how effective shouting your longs out would be. :P

Also, a joke (made by some comedy act I don't remember) that's not exactly true. But does make sense why what I've seen works. Is that women grades all things equally in points. So, the gist of that is. Buy her a diamond? One point. Make her dinner? One point. Remember her favorite song? One point. So on, so forth.

Maybe that's why being called 'your beautiful' three hundred times in a single conversations, allows my friends to be conversation masters at flirting. As I said, maybe my brain works differently, but the more times you have to repeat something, the less sincere it sounds. >.>

I'm not saying it's everyone I'm just saying its working a little too fucking well for all my other friends for me to understand it.
@Fabricant451 You give him far too little credit, how much of an asshat he is. XP I mean to be fair I haven't HEARD a full album of Kayne...But I'm honestly never sure if I want to...as I said, I find LYRICS important and Kayne is literally dreadful with those.

I mean you can like rappers instrumentals but they usually AREN'T created by the artist alone, which is another divide. I never see in any other genre, usually. So if you like his 'music' you don't actually like Kayne West, you like all his producers that make his albums.

1. "I just talked to Jesus/He said, “What up Yeezus?”/I said “S**t I’m chillin’/Trying to stack these millions."

2. "I keep it 300, like Romans/300 bitches, where’s the Trojans?"

3. "Now if I f**k this model
And she just bleached her asshole
And I get bleach on my T-shirt
I’mma feel like an asshole"

4. "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex
Why? I made that bitch famous" (Christ this one makes me cringe even fucking looking at it. This should not be as easy to find, if he was talented in his writing abilities.)

If you found any of those interesting or clever than alright you like Kayne West. But I just flat out don't like him as a rapper on the stuff I have heard.
so what you're telling me sleeping beauty

is that being desperate wins

so what i should do is buy a truckload of tranquilizer darts and a rifle to go widdem

rite

Psychopath isn't quite what I was going for. I would say I wasn't clear enough but...I don't think darts are compliments or have to do with ego in anyway. XP

I'd hope it was more sarcasm, and less than twisting words until they break.
@ClocktowerEchos I swear that something like that has actually been tired, it was a slice of life about RP'ers having the toughest D&D campaign they've ever had. I wasn't in it, but it looked like it was a clusterfuck. xP
