My Very Brief Bio

Male, 33 years old. (I'm even more dead than before.)

Likes (other than writing and roleplaying): I'm into all genres of music. I love to cook. I love the outdoors, and walking through the park near my house. (Yes, really.) I read a lot of thriller/mystery novels. And I usually watch seasonal anime. (Or cooking shows. Because Western Media provides even fewer things that are worth watching.)

But as for my many other neglected hobbies, I've played basically every sport. (Soccer and Bowling being my favorite of the bunch.) And I'm trying to play more video games. (Going through my never-ending Steam library.) Plus, I've dabbled in making electronic & metal music, and I used to play a number of instruments. (Guitar, French Horn, etc.)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

@Demon Shinobi Okay. Thanks for clarifying. I think I have something that I'd -like- to happen for character growth.

Though for archetypes and tropes they're supposed to fill or avert/subvert. I don't tend to write based around existing tropes or archetypes. But if I read a characters personality and their strengths/weaknesses. I should already kind of know what archetype/trope they may be, or based on. If someone is full of edge and is a loner, and puts "team leader" for their intended archetype. I'll be like, how does that make sense?

I guess the point is seeing if you actually understand the character you wrote and having it simplified, so it doesn't have to inferred by others. Also I know what I'd -like- to happen for my character is the broadest sense. But that really should depend on how other characters and my digimon partner interacts with me. The story should shape/change are characters and it hasn't started yet. ;P

My character for instance has a hang up about the opposite sex because of a past incident, that I'd like for her to get over that. But I won't warm up to people, if they all decide to be terrible to my character. Which isn't even out of left field for their characters to do, because my character will have abrasive attitude toward them. Sometimes people change and not always for the better, after all.

I suppose I'll read what I wrote last night, make sure it's not a total mess. Fish out some kind of quote that make senses and write something for my goal and be sending it for inspection to see if everything looks good.
@Demon Shinobi I'm basically done writing my CS. (not sure how smart it was writing it all down in the middle of the night, half awake. But I digress.) Before I go to bed, what exactly should I be putting in for character goals? I get that it seems to be, a breaking the fourth wall description. Basically asking, what do you want your character to do in the roleplay? Though I'm not 100% sure what the difference is between the first question of "how I want to write my character to effect the narrative." and the second? How I want them to play the app game in universe? Should I know the different styles of play? Like I'm not entirely sure what that's about.

Like unless, you're open to the idea of players helping as the antagonists and third parties. I'd assume all answers chalk up to very similar answers? Maybe it's the lack of sleep. I guess I'll find out when I wake up tomorrow.

Edit: I'm awake...kind of.
7/10 Perfectly solid, albeit a little short song. I just listened to the more recent album track by this band, I found it to be better/more unique, maybe a bit more cheesy. (The Doomed) I should try listening to their album in full, but I have a century long list of albums I've yet to listen to...

Another example of this. The chanting in the chorus makes it instantly cheesy and awesome.

@LordLinguinie I know I'm not him. But I think the point is, to start writing a tamer character. And pick what digimon and their evolutions you want. But the backstory and personality will be choosen and played by someone else. So you're playing two characters, the tamer and
someone else's digimon.
*pokes head in* Oh, someone's actually doing a roleplay I'd be interested in. That's an interesting idea, sounds like there will be a lot of Collabs, though these might actually make some sense doing them. Count me in, glad you're not strictly first come. I've been rather absent, need a nice roleplay to keep me writing. I'll throw a tamer out there. I assume to not bother with the digimon one yet? I'll edit this with my CS.
@The Heretic I'm sorry to hear, you have my condolences.

I only have one baby cat, name's Aidan. but I love him quite a lot and I've had him about as long as I've been out of my folks house. He's super friendly to strangers and likes to lick like a dog. And prefer's shoulders to laps. Aside from occasionally bi-polar behavior and irrational fear of television screens, he's about a perfect a cat as it can get. IMHO. :3

I do have one of my parent's cat's ashes in my closet. Katherine, basically was my cat. Didn't like anyone in the family but me. She was more like a typical cat, but she meant a lot to me throughout my most of my childhood/adolescence. Family had her for 15-16 years. (I don't think I have many pictures of her myself though.)
@Dynamo Frokane It'd be more funny of an observation, if it wasn't done on purpose. :P

Seriously though. It's different for everyone. Sometimes writers get tired of writing and need a break from it. But writing -something- tends to be the best way for me to get over writer's block. :3
@Fabricant451 Now that, was an actual joke. Figure since you joke so much you'd get it. But still too much stupid I have to deal with. <.<
