As Dustyn was dragged from the room in hand by Tess, Dustyn couldn't help but have a sense of curiosity of the things that happened while she screwed around getting freshened up in the shower. After the barrage of words came spilling out of Tess's lips Dustyn listened carefully, her eyes widening as she watched her friend's arms wave around. Reaching the elevator together she watched Tess press the button before finally speaking, "First of all, who does she think she is calling YOU a ho? Dustyn raised her voice, somewhat agitated. Only she could call her friends names and get away with it. "Second off, you almost got a kiss from ol' seven inch himself? I'm fucking proud of you!" Dusty continued, as the elevator doors opened in front of them and they entered in. Dustyn reached over and pressed the button for the ground floor. In the heat of the moment she had almost forgot that she was supposed to move her belongings into her room, and probably meet her roomate for the year, whoever that poor soul would be.

Despite the situation, Tess couldn't help but laugh at Dusty's response to it all. It always made her feel better to know she had someone like Dustyn in her corner, always ready to fight for her. As the elevator traveled down Tess burst into another rant. "Right! Like, it wasn't like I was lying on top of him naked! It was just an almost kiss! And speaking of that, HOLY SHIT HE ALMOST KISSED ME!" her demeanor switching from furious to overjoyed in seconds.

"Oh my gods, I'm going to spend the whole year across the hall from him! He's like, sex incarnate and I get to spend the whole year as his roommate this is amazing!" she shouted, jumping up and down. She was lucky enough to finish her outburst before the doors slid open and revealed her and Dusty to the rest of the lobby. That would've been embarassing. Stepping out of the elevator, she turned to face her friend. "Alright homeslice, where's your car? I need to do something to take my mind off of the Kiss That Never Was,"

Dusty stopped jumping along with her friend in the midst of the excitment from the moment that would always be known as The Kiss That Never Was. It would be a story to tell the grandkids for sure. "Um." Dustyn started, pointing a finger towards the parking lot to where her junker sat. The two walked over together as she swung open the back door revealing the various bags, and garbage that was piled into the car. "Don't bother locking the piece of shit, it's not worth the effort." Dustyn chuckled, grabbing some of the bags that were in the back and tossing them towards Tess to help her carry to her room.

"I think I am in room 4-L." she mentioned as she put a backpack onto her back and adjusted the hem of her shorts up, bending down and picking up another one of her bags. "Let's hope my room mate this year is a hottie too, I could use some eye candy- since Laurel and I aren't getting anywhere anytime soon." she remarked, looking to Tess for reassurance.

Tess grinned at her friend from behind a the bags she was carrying. "What is going on with the still hot as hell son of Apollo? Tess asked, figuring it was time that they moved off of the topic of Abe and his nutbag of a sister. No need to get the redhead fired up again.

"Like, did you guys talk over the summer? Please tell me you did, you know I live vicariously through you," Tess said, following Dusty back into the elevator and riding it up to the fourth floor. She'd been one of the biggest supporters of the relationship that she'd nicknamed "Lusty" since it's conception, and had been pushing Dusty to go for something more with Laurel, mainly because she thought he was one of the finest things in the world. Which wasn't saying too much, seeing as how she held that opinion about most of the boys at the school.

"We talked during the summer a bit, you know nothing too serious." Dustyn started, her mouth pulled up into a smirk. She was often too honest and blunt to people, but there was something about Laurel that made her not want to be honest with herself about how their relationship was. "He probably just is looking for this bomb ass pussssssssssssy." she yelled as they entered the dorm room, a few bystanders giving them a glare as Dustyn busted out laughing, quickly returning to the elevator and pressing the close door button as soon as she could.

A sigh escaped her lips as she leaned against the rail inside the elevator shaft. "He invited me to a rave tonight, so we should totally go. Dress sexy, get drunk, have fun- and enjoy another year in this shit hole!" she teased, giving a playful shove to Tess. "Plus, I bet you'll get that kiss you meant to have this morning." Dustyn paused a mischevious look in her eye, If you don't- someone else will. Plus that bitch sister of his needs a wake up call real quick. I might need to give her a talking to." the girl threatened, as the doors opened up to the fourth floor destination.

Tess smiled at the prospect of a rave, and getting her kiss. Not to mention the idea of Dusty scolding Abe's bitch of a sister. All three gave her a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. "A rave sounds like a blast. I think I have just the right outfit too. Not to mention the right reason to get wasted," she said with a chuckled, walking over to 4-L and following Dusty inside, setting the bags down on the couch.

Suddenly a thought struck her. "Holy shit! What if Abe and his sister are doing some weird Game of Thrones shit? Like, what if that's why she was so pissy?" she exclaimed, her face twisted into a mask of fear. She could not be getting in between that weird ass relationship if it was even a thing. "I swear on the River Styx, I am not getting involved with another guy who has a thing for his sister!" she said, referring to one of her previous boy friends, a son of Apollo who'd been a tad too friendly with his half-sister. Granted, the whole situation wasn't technically incest, but it creeped the redhead out to no end.

Dropping her bags on the couch next to the pile that Tess had laid down, Dustyn's face turned into one of disgust. "Please... not another sister fucker." she pleaded with Tess, as the flash backs from the last boyfriend her friend had went through her mind. "I don't blame her though if they were, I've heard the rumors Tess. I sensed the rumor a little in your room, and I'm almost 46% sure that the rumors are true just based on that." Dustyn said, her voice steady, as she seemed to be convincing not only Tess, but herself.

Looking between the two bedrooms, she decided on hers and began transporting the bags from the living room into the bedroom. She didn't bother unpacking much, knowing that she would do it as time went by. Plus she hated having too much order, it was boring and drab to live life that way.
@Pundii Edited in a mention of Arthur at the end of my Amara post :)

Amara gave a smile as her son introduced his friend, Juliana Hyland. So he's gotten himself entangled with a Hyland girl. Better than an Ainsworth I guess Amara thought. She was pulled from said thoughts though, by the arrival of two more of the mountain clan. Juliana's older sister and her mother, all three spitting images of each other. It was shocking almost, how much they all looked alike. She curtsied as the two women arrived. "It has been far too long Julia, I believe we haven't seen each other since the tournament three summers ago at Serpent's Roost. If I recall, all of your sons did quite well. Juliana here has been a delight. In fact, I was just about to ask her where she found this adorable little creature," she said sweetly.

In truth, Amara held no ill will towards the Hylands, although she didn't know if they felt the same about her family. Lucan's betrayal had been just as damaging to her as it had been to them, and she had been forced to run damage control on the whole affair. She doubted the little traitor even understood the repercussions his actions had caused, but she knew. The Hylands might not have a powerful navy, but they're army dwarfed that of the Gullys and she knew they were not people to make enemies of, at least not without good reason. And Amara most certainly did not see protecting the Ainsworths as a good enough reason. She looked up at her husband as he walked over and quietly hooked her arm around his, a silent show of their family's unity.
@MissCapnCrunch Aside from jousting, a melee and an archery portion would make sense. As far as I know those were common parts of tournaments back in the day and by "back in the day" I mean the middle ages :P And I can help with family trees if you'd like, you can just PM me the details that you need help with :)
Edwin and Amelia are ready I believe, and Amara just has to wrap up her crazy badass mom moment :P
I don't want to sound like an idiot but what's a collab?

A collaboration. Just two or more authors writing a single post that includes two or more of their characters. It's generally used for conversations that you want to speed up, or for conversations that you don't want interrupted.

Amara was pulled from her thoughts of vengeance by the sound of her eldest daughters voice. Her expression grew softer as she turned to face her. "Yes dear. Everything is...fine," she said, sparing one last look at the steps of the castle before hooking her arm around her daughter's and strolling into the castle, forcing a smile on her face. For everyone else, this was meant to be an exciting day. She would not ruin that with somber tales of people long dead.

"Ithobal's arrived you say? What a pleasant surprise," she said as they walked, her heart leaping at the thought of seeing her youngest son, the one who'd ran off years ago. It had been much too long. A mother should never have to be separated from her children for that long.

As Amara and Myriam entered the area of the most activity, Amara's eyes scanned the room, searching for her second son. Instead, she found her first, standing next to that demon spawn of a princess. Did she know what her father had done? Or did she run all over the place where he'd killed them? Had she soiled the place where their souls had left their bodies? And did he let her? Did that traitorous excuse for a son let her do so?

She was forced to turn her head from Lucan, to keep from flying into a blind rage, and her eyes came to rest on Ithobal, talking to a young, raven haired woman. She turned to her eldest daughter, a smile returned to her face. "It seems your brother has found himself a young lady. We'd best go make sure she's good enough for him. Come, you may one day have to do this for your own sons," she said, before gliding across to Ithobal and his lady friend, Myriam on her arm.

"Ithobal, how good it is to see you," she said, giving him a motherly peck on the cheek, before turning to look at the young lady. "Won't you introduce me and your sister to your friend here?" she asked, her eyes scanning the woman like a snake watches it's prey, although her smile gave off no such feeling.
@smarty0114 so I'm assuming you flaked correct?
