The first thing everyone notices about Maggie is her eyes. Piercing and grey, they're really quite beautiful. They have a way of staring straight through you, as if she can find out everything about you with just a glance. Maggie's hair is falls to just below her shoulders, dark brown and normally curled. Her mouth is downturned in a constant pout, one that makes it look like she's deep in thought. Maggie is of average height, right around the 5'5" mark, with a slender frame, and can normally be found dressed in shorts and tees,

There's no doubt that Maggie is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. She's kind and loyal, and a great listener. She's incredibly smart, but also incredibly humble, preferring not to show off. She has a habit of snapping candids of just about everyone, but most of her friends don't mind. Maggie's biggest flaw is her fear of the world around her. She may be an ambitious soul, but her cautious nature often holds her back, from new friendships, and new opportunities.

Lily Taylor hadn't planned on being a mother. In fact, she really hadn't wanted kids at all. But that changed rather suddenly when one December night, her sister passed away during childbirth. Lily was the only surviving family member and the father wasn't anywhere to be found. Suddenly, Lily had a niece who needed a mom. And so she stepped in and took the newborn in, naming her Margaery, after her late mother.
Lily found that she was much more suited to being a parent than she'd initially thought. Maggie was raised by a loving aunt, who she was always close with. She was always a bit of a quiet kid, never getting too involved. In high school though, Maggie was forced by her aunt to join the journalism club, and she blossomed. Sure, she was more of a wallflower than anything, she hated standing out, and did her best to stay behind the lens of her camera, but she found her path.
Throughout the next three years, Maggie grew as a journalist, but this summer she wants to grow as a person. She knows that she won't be able to go into the world of journalism if she can't stand up for herself or take risks. So, she begged her aunt to enroll her at Aces High, seeing it as an opportunity to come out of her shell and become more outgoing. Easier said then done.
