Nothing stays hidden forever

You work for the american government. Sure, on the outside it looks like it's protecting the people, but on the inside, it's really not. You hear about conspiracies. Aliens, cryptids, cults. The thing is, though... they're all real. Aliens are allowed to abduct people on contract. Cryptids are hunted down every year. Cults make offerings to the government. These unethical practices must stop. The people need to know. You must alert the public. However, things stand in your way. Agents. Aliens. Spies. Working together, you and a group of people must traverse space, earth, and secret civilizations in order to make things right.

I'm NOT done with this yet but I want to know opinions before I finish it.

NAME: Homo Sapien Sapien.
COMMON NAME: Human.
STAR SYSTEM: The Solar System.
HOME PLANET: Earth.
APPEARANCE: Medium-height. Covered in hair, although much of it is short and invisible to the naked eye. Their skin color varies from completely white to almost jet black. Hair color also varies in the same degree. Mammalian. Intelligent. Result of project T.A.M.
BACKSTORY: Back during the Etch period, the asteroid managed to wipe out all progress of project T.A.M. In order to continue T.A.M, a new, more precise evolutionary study was done. Grays have guided them in order to add intelligence.
ABILITIES: Humans seem to show excellence in inventing, prioritizing, and empathy. An extremely social species. They tend to stay in and around Earth.
OTHER: Humans are average strength mentally and physically. Provoking one will result in weapons being used.

Jason Lander

Jason looked around for a bit. Freedom. Ever since he first entered the bunker he needed it. He craved it. He wanted it. But now that he had it, he didn't know where to go. He could do anything. Then, suddenly, he saw people laying on the ground. Dead. Mostly elderly. Several others began coughing. Some fell down more. Horrified, Jason backed up a bit. "Well, uh, this isn't good." he muttered to himself. Just then, a snake bit his leg. He hit with his hand and shook it off. Another one bit at him. Quickly, he grabbed a stick and beat the snakes to death. He grabbed the carcasses and put them in his backpack. I need to survive, the thought ran through his head. How was he going to survive?

"Listen! Everyone! Nobody can survive alone. If you want to have a better chance at surviving, gather people!" he tried to make it known to people on how to survive, after seeing dangerous wildlife. This world was dangerous.

He walked for a bit before seeing somebody looting the bodies, "Are you supposed to be looting?"
