I guess my answer is that the mood becomes easier the more you do it. It's a feedback loop habit; the more you push yourself, the easier it gets. In the same way, the more you give into the difficulty of it, the harder it gets.

I think that only really works if you have positive experiences and outcomes from pushing yourself. If you don't, then it might backfire.

Also my reason for not posting is getting distracted by stuff I wanted to do when I got access to consistent internet access, so sorry about that.

Yeah. I'm really bad with computers.

You at least have some experience with computers.

*as we approach, what appear to seem like its ears flatten, and it seemingly wimpers, almost scared*

Patty:... ?

Nix: *notices it's reaction and stops moving forward, lowering the brightness of my held flames.*

It doesn't look very aggressive right now Patty, so maybe we shouldn't act like we're trying to corner it since we don't know if it'll get defensive.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

*as soon as it lands, Patty whips around to see what it is, rifle raised*

??: *a shadowlike being with six glowing eyes raises it's head, and dodges the wisp, then proceeds to stare down the alley, tilting its head at the newcomers*

Patty: ... this thing looks like it could do some damage, stay behind me.

*advances slowlyy, with my rifle raised*

Nix: *Follows you around the corner, staff ready.*

Agreed, but let's see if it's even hostile first. Also I think I could handle it pretty well if your gun doesn't do much to it.

*Starts conjuring some more fire from my staff.*

It's something really smart bad guys do to break into computers. I'm not really sure how it works.

Well let's hope Soren knows how to do it then, cause I doubt we'll get much if we run into one of these restrictions.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

It depends. If it's just a computer in a locked room, we break the wall. If you have to hack it or something, I'll be totally lost.

If it's just a computer and wall, then yea. But what does the word hack mean? I've seen it pop up in a few of the things I've found, but could never understand what ment in or out of context.

Break access restrictions.

Oh... *calms down.*
Wait a sec, that kind of stuff is possible?
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

5e is fifth edition D&D. It just means we will be using the most recent version of the game.

Good to know.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

We can just break it.

Wait, What?!
*looks both somewhat confused and concerned*
Why would you want to break a perfectly good e-library?!
