Who knows? From what I've found on my own about e-libraries, there are supposedly "public and governmental access settings, each with their own sub levels of clearance". *makes air quotes as I say this.*
I don't really know what some of that means, but my guess is that we might not get any useful or accurate info without the right "access."

The D&D would be a 5e homebrew campaign with no direct ties to Myriad Reality, i say no direct ties because you could of course make a D&D version of your character. ( but they must be lvl.1)

MRC is for MRC Global, a distribution company for energy plants, paper mills, pretty much anything that requires pipes, fittings, flanges, and actuators up and down the Mississippi.

So, I have a proposition. I'm not sure if you guys like it but I have a D&D campaign you guys might like.
Also I start at MRC on Monday!
So they didn't find out about those planets I blew up.
And still waiting on the VA who are, yes, notorious for being pains in the kiester. (Not sure how to spell that)

I'd love to try a DnD thing, but I'm unsure if I'd have enough time on any of the day's I'd have consistent internet access.

If you're meaning the fall of the previous civilization, then yea, I'm trying to figure out why it happened. I'm hoping that whatever's in this e-library Soren found has at least a few answers.

Not really, no. Everyone else is too busy just trying to survive and scavange to really think about it. I myself have had my hands full just trying to unravel what happened all those years ago, so I doubt it'll really be explored for a while.

Destructive or malicious impulses, among other things. We kinda lost a good chunck of our medical research when the world went to crap, mental health problems being among them. Because of that, some people have gone back to superstitious ideas of people being evil and whatnot. Not all of those with abilities have them however.

Then let me give you a short summary.

The previous civilization collapsed and everything went to crap some hundreds of years ago, and with what I've discovered over the past few years of expoloring ruined city's I've estimated that itonly happened 200 to 300 years ago. The current civilization consists mostly of wandering groups of people that mainly scavenge for food and what recoverable and repairable technology they can find, as having any is a rare commodity. There are only about two major groups that have managed to find places to settle down, grow food, and put together basic technology for their slowly developing towns. There are those that have abilities as well, and it's commonly believed that those with an ability are evil since many of them usually have some mental problems.
