Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! Or Josie! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 17 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

We can do that, yes. :)
As he reached the bottom of the stairs, Cinead curved around The front of the building, coming to a stop at the trunk of the tree that grew in front of and just to the side of the balconies on his side of the apartments. Glancing quickly towards the glass doors that lead out onto the balcony of his neighbors beneath him to make sure that no one was watching, he quickly pulled himself into the branches of the old oak, climbing swiftly and quietly until he was level with his own balcony. Eying the distance for a moment, Cin took a deep breath through his nose before stepping forward quickly, leaping towards the railing.

“Oof!” The air was audibly and rather forcefully pushed out of Cinead’s lungs as his chest collided with the railing, having missed judged the distance compared to the length of his body. He had managed to grab on with his hands, but was closer than he expected and ended up colliding with the wrought iron instead of vaulting over it as he had planned. Gasping in air for a moment, he then shook his head at himself, mentally chiding the arrogance he had displayed before pulling himself up and over the railing and onto the balcony. Hoping that the neighbors hadn’t heard much, Cin padded quietly over to the sliding glass door and pulling it open, glad that he usually left it cracked a few inches almost all the time. Pushing aside the screen, he slipped inside his apartment, closing the screen behind him once more.

Making his way across the soft carpet of his living room, pausing for a moment to turn on a sleek silver standing lamp, Cinead finally unlocked and opened the front door. He smiled with his eyes at Anna before gesturing with one hand for her to come in. “Welcome to my home. Why don’t you come in.” He offered, amused.
Of course, Cinead did snort saufley at the nonchalance in Anna‘s voice when she spoke of her burn, but he would determine for himself if it was “not that bad” for himself soon enough.

Pressing A button on the driver‘s side door that locked the car, Cinead gently pulled his mate out of the way before shutting the door and focusing on her question. “My apartment is in the building that is second from the last on the left, facing the inner side of the complex on the third floor.” He said smoothly, tugging her gently along behind him by their still linked hands. Leading her through a neatly groomed lawn and under some trees, Cinead led Anna up three short flights of stairs to the top landing of one of the stairwells, pausing in front of the door.

“Well,” he huffed quietly, “ we might have a problem. My keys are back in the clearing with my pants...” Sighing heavily through his nose, Cinead glanced towards Anna, dropping her hand as he started back down the stairs. “ wait here a moment. I might have a solution.”

I still like the idea of them being friends. With there being so few dragons left, it stands to reason that they would band together wherever possible. Does that still sound OK?
As Anna explained herself as best she could, Cinead carefully, if surreptitiously, studied her face for any signs that she might be going into shock or about to start crying hysterically. She did neither, turning a characteristic smile towards him as they sat parked in front of his apartment complex. She didn’t look like she was about to have a meltdown. But then again, even she admitted that she might be having a delayed reaction. Concerned for her well-being, Cinead promised himself to keep a close eye on her for the next several days, even if that meant he had to lose sleep over it.

Reaching out one of his long hands, he gently brushed his knuckles across her cheek.”...Okay.” He agreed softly. A brief smile pulled up The corner of his mouth. “Now, let us go get me a new set of clothing and take a look at your leg, shall we?” Brushing The back of his hand once again across the skin of her face, the dragon in his human guise unfolded himself from the front seat, circling back around the car to open Anna‘s door for her and offering her one of his hands.

Sounds good to me! :)
@ThatWeirdChick
Haha! Thanks.

Also! I remembered that we were going to make another couple! I’m fine with whichever gender you would like to make your own dragon. Just let me know and I will make a character the opposite of that. :)
@ThatWeirdChick

You’re seriously awesome!! ❤️❤️
Oh! That sounds like fun! Shooting you a private message! C:
@ThatWeirdChick

Thank you, honestly, for that. It really means more than I can put into words.

To be honest, I think it would be fun to continue the story. If you’re willing, I’m in. I’ll just need to go back and read over everything to get my head back into the character. I’ve started to do that already somewhat.
