Current To have actual creativity, motivation, and inspiration back feels like welcoming home an old familiar friend. Comfortable. It's nice.

Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! Or Josie! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 17 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

Good question! Hawks and falcons for sure, but I can also imagine there are snakes, owls, andfoxes/coyotes in the area.

I like Gingerflame so far! :3
@kittyboy

No need to be nervous about it! You’re absolutely welcome to make the medicine cat if you’d like, should they drop out. :D And thank you, thank you, for being willing to make more characters! ❤️
@Shadow Dragon

Looks good! It gives them both more depth! They’re officially excepted! :) You’re welcome to post them in the character section now and get your introduction post up. Not the bad guy yet though, we’ll have him make his introduction later. ;)

Also, it might just be the four of us interested in the story for the time being. Sassy has dropped out officially. I’m still waiting on a reply from our potential medicine cat player, but I have the feeling they are out as well. We’ll see. Because of this, I’d encourage everybody to make as many characters as you would like, to help fill out the clan. You don’t have to of course, but it would help. :) Or if you know of anyone else who might be interested in joining the story, that would be appreciated as well. I’m willing to make our medicine cat if it comes to that, unless someone else is interested.
Thanks Shadow! I’m sorry for the miscommunication. Your cats are looking good so far. I’ll keep an eye on them and let you know when/if they are excepted! :) But there should be no problem as soon as you finish their backgrounds.
I figured that everyone that has been excepted is good to make their first post, and that would in turn establish a posting order. :)

And oh, ha ha! I’ve had things like that happened to me before. This made me laugh though! Glad your brain got there eventually. ;P
@kittyboy@Jasper19

Well, Evan,Jasper, feel free to make your own role-play posts if you’d like, since your characters have been excepted.
We’d love to see some fresh faces over on the thread to help get things rolling quicker! If you’re interested, please come check out the current content! :)
@kittyboy

Thanks Evan! Yeah, I was thinking that the posting order could keep things under control. I’ve taken part in some groups that don’t have them and find that some people get left behind or ignored. Ah well, we’ll see.
As you can tell, I had some creativity strike and ended up getting an introduction written out. I hope you guys like it and it helps with the excitement of getting into a fun story. Also, I’ve been considering enforcing a posting order, so that no one gets left behind, but I’d like to know what everyones’ thoughts are on that.
A fresh newleaf day was dawning brilliantly in the eastern sky, coloring the normally blue canvas with splashes of pink and orange. The first hints of golden light had just begun to spill over into what cats called the main camp and home of CragClan when their current leader, Robinstar, stepped out of her den in the leader's tree, the only such plant that had managed to grow in the mountain hollow. She rubbed her lithe body against The edge of the opening that had been formed generations ago, scratching an itch beneath her pale pelt before enjoying a limb shaking stretch, briefly digging her front claws into the wood of the tree branch beneath her. Yawn splitting her muzzle for a moment before the she cat shook out her fur, Robinstar slid into a seated position as her blue gaze swept over camp, watching the first of her clanmates stir.

A tiny spot of orange and white was streaking across the open space in front of the nursery cave, obviously attempting to make a break for a bit of adventure, but a black and silver she cat was in hot pursuit of the escapee. Robinstar released a mmrow of amusement at the sight of Eagleleap chasing down the excitable, and rather slippery, kit Poppykit. Nearby, a sleek dark orange and cream tom was just stepping out of the warrior's den, releasing a wide yawn before going after an itch behind one of his ears. Poppykit streaked beneath Silverleaf's Front legs as the warrior was doing this, startling him to release a soft yowl.

"oh, sorry Silverleaf! Poppykit! Get back here you naughty kit," Eagleleap's clear voice rang out, obviously exasperated.

Another warrior, clearly having just been woken up, poked his head out of the den next to Silverleaf, looking curious and a little annoyed. When he spotted the bicolored kit scampering away with Eagleleap right on her tail, Birchwhisker couldn't help but give a heavy sigh before joining in the Chase, his tail streaming out behind him.

Giving her head a brief shake, whiskers twitching with amusement, Robinstar maneuvered her way down from the leader's tree, landing nimbly on the ground before making her way over to Silverleaf. "That kit is going to make an excellent warrior one day," she meowed, drawing the attention of the russet tom.

"She most certainly has the energy for it," Silverleaf huffed, giving his long tail several flicks. Sighing a moment later, he blinked at his leader with evident curiosity. “You’re up rather early. Did Stagthorn rope you into Dawn patrol too?”

Whiskers twitching as she squinted her eyes with humor at the teasing tone she detected in Silverleaf’s words, Robinstar shook her head. “Believe it or not, there are some cats who enjoy getting up early,” she meowed in reply.

“I’d rather get the sleep thanks,” Silverleaf responded dryly, yawning once more before touching his nose briefly to his sister’s ear and padding off towards the camp entrance.

Giving her head a resigned shake, though her expression was full of gentle adoration, Robinstar watched a relieved looking Eagleleap making her way across the camp towards the nursery, Birchwhisker trotting behind her with a resigned looking Poppykit dangling from his jaws, before she headed off in search of her deputy, hoping to have a word with him.
