Magical Girl Uber Sparkling Fantasia

@Tatsua Aiisen - Yeah, Shizuka's magical strength doesn't come from her intelligence, at least not directly. Her strength comes from having certainty, a knowledge-related concept that has emotional equivalents, namely faith or creed. She has a very strong belief system, she believes in what she knows, and believes that the things she doesn't know are ultimately knowable. This is directly seen in her sonic scan ability that lets her detect weaknesses, exploitables and flaws in her opponents. Certainty is of course not as strong as raw emotions like love, but it is dependable, and Shizuka strives for efficiency and economy rather than raw output. If that's not enough, she can fall back on her almost shounen manga-levels of sheer hot-blooded yandere-esque determination because she is unable to accept failure. Like her intelligence, she is far from being the best, but she finds ways to compensate for what she lacks. She will probably end up in a tactician/area control/support mage/healer sort of role.

@ El_Tigre - I'm glad you noticed the name. "Otonashi" means "soundless" while "Shizuka" means "quiet". Obviously it's a name-pun on her sound-related abilities. If someone asked for her name, her response might be interpreted as her telling them to shut up. I couldn't decide between "Shizuka" or "Sadame", which means "decision", "fate" or "judgment". If I had went with "Sadame", the name "Otonashi Sadame" would mean "silent judgment".

The main edits were that I filled out the "Hopes and Dreams", "Equipment", "History" and "Magic" sections with other minor edits here and there. Hope this is good.

Appearance:

Basically, the short teal hair, red eyes, and dark skin, she wears normal clothes like her school uniform. She is a bit on the short, loli side.

Name: Shizuka Margarete Otonashi (静 マルガレーテ 音無, by order of first, middle and last name as is the convention in Germany)

Age: 11

Personality: Shizuka is a genius through effort. Though she does not posses what people would consider 'genius-levels of raw talent' she does possess some inherent talent which she combines with a relentless determination to crush those who would consider themselves her 'betters'. Through hard work, she can surpass those who are 'inherently smarter' than her, while her own inherent intelligence gives her a tremendous edge against those with less intelligence than her. In this way, she has risen to the top in all academic fields and is considered a wunderkind though she knows that the truth is that she is not a true prodigy in the traditional sense. She is highly analytical and critical, often emotionless and objective to hide the jealous and competitive rage she harbors against anyone who might threaten her position.

Hopes and Dreams~: Above all, Shizuka wishes to be heard, to gain recognition and respect for her achievements. In actuality she simply wants to be loved and accepted unconditionally, without having to work for approval.

History: Born in Germany to a Japanese father and German mother she is the fourth child, with three brothers before her. As the children were raised, the younger children piggybacked on the knowledge of the older children, allowing the younger ones to learn at an accelerated rate. The family was upper middle class, but the ghost of consumerism made the parents believe themselves to be poor, so they pushed their children to excel in academics, seeing it as the only way their children could increase their wealth. Shizuka's eldest brother was smart in his own right, but quickly became overshadowed by the achievements of his younger siblings. Crushed, demoralized, and disillusioned, he rebelled against his parents' way of life, ultimately resulting in the father throwing him out of the house and disowning him. Shizuka was very young when this happened and came to believe that how much one was loved was entirely dependent on one's academic performance, a sort of educational meritocracy. One who could not achieve did not deserve love, love had to be earned. Not only love, but respect, status and power. Knowledge and academics thus became her obsession, every achievement she gained allowed her to be showered with admiration and attention, and in the same vein as her parents and their want of wealth, it wasn't enough, it was never enough. She had to have more; more recognition, more fame. it came as no surprise then, that she was invited to the exclusive all-girls Hinamizawa Academy in Japan. She bid her parents and two brothers farewell, heading to the airport by herself by taxi. Before leaving, she met up one last time with her eldest brother who was still trying to make his way in the world who had come to the airport to see her off.

Soul Colour: Purple

Magical Girl Appearance:

Some slight modifications to the above image are that her hair color should be teal, but her eyes change to purple in magical girl form. Skin color should be darker, ignore the text, and ignore the handheld weapons as Shizuka possesses no plasma rifle or stun blade. Shizuka is also a bit more covered up and doesn't show that much skin or underboob (if underboobs even exist for flat-chested lolis). Imagine her outfit to be more along the lines of the image shown previously with the sleeveless white dress. Mainly, I want to keep the circular array that floats behind her since it looks like a sound system.

Nickname: (None yet, though she might adopt "Maneshitsugumi" "Spottdrossel", or "Mockingbird" in the future) Never call her Maru-chan

Magic: Her magic revolves around detection, waves, sound, and music. She can send out sonc pings to locate enemies as well as scan and analyze a system for potential weaknesses. She can also use these pings to determine the resonant frequency of various objects and then project that frequency to shatter the object like a wine glass, though depending on the material, she might not have enough power output to destroy it. She mainly uses music, which has a profound effect on the psyche, to give her allies temporary stat boosts; otherwise she tells her allies what weaknesses, if any, she has discovered in the enemy if she is unable to exploit thew weakness herself.

I will have a character up eventually, so as not to step on any toes, I'm making a machine/sound-based girl, probably going for soul colour: violet.

Hey all, sorry for the really slow posting. I just got one up. I just wanted to say that I'm much more comfortable in dealing with situations that are thrown at me, rather than coming up with my own scenes, so a freeform like this takes me a while.

Gundam Build Fighters: Xcellence

The emergence of the Patulia seemed to attract many fighters towards it, leaving the rest of the map somewhat sparse. YingJue sent the Mythos Gundam in the general direction of the commotion. As it exited the forest, the Mythos ran across a beach. Missiles flew out of the water at it, but the Mythos turned the beam shields on its massive shoulder pack on, blocking the missiles. When the smoke cleared, the broken body of a Nobel Gundam got tossed ashore in a threatening gesture as a Hygogg pulled itself out of the water menacingly.

YingJue turned the Mythos to the right and fired her beam rifle in that direction. At the same time, multiple beams came firing back. The Hygogg turned towards the same direction, thinking that he and the Mythos were being ambushed by another group of fighters. But when he turned all he saw were four large DRAGOONs pointed at him, DRAGOONs which belonged to the Mythos. It was a trick. Before the Hygogg could turn back Yingjue had hit him square on with numerous beams.

She proceeded to head towards the Patulia when a Zansbine appeared from the jungle. The Mythos and Zansbine took aim at each other but didn't fire.

"Hey, you're the Chinese champion, right?" asked Luang, the pilot of the Zansbine.

"Yes," YingJue replied to the Thailand champion.

"There seems to be something going on over there, I think it's a mobile armor. I think everyone's teaming up to take it down. You in?"

The Mythos lowered it's beam rifle.

"Alright, let's go then," Luang said, taking this gesture as an agreement.

As they headed over, YingJue followed closely behind.

"I think we'll see something as soon as we get over this ridge--" Luang's sentence was cut short when the Mythos unleashed a steady salvo of beams into the Zansbine's back. Luang's fans who had their eyes on the Zansbine roared with disapproval at this unsportsman-like display from YingJue. She was a little taken aback herself, unsure why she had done it. Her breathing became a little erratic as she gripped the controls tightly. She didn't trust anybody. Looking over the ridge, she could see the battle against the Patulia. She saw The TC and the Marmara Hyperion. These two she promised herself she would never betray, and dashed into the fray.

Gundam Build Fighters: Xcellence

YingJue found her Mythos inside an underground Mobile suit base, similar in style to the Jaburo base. A Gundam 00 Seven Swords also appeared in the base and immediately began firing with the rifle mode of its GN Sword II Long. YingJue Ducked behind some scaffolding to avoid the beams. Though one would think that specializing in long range, the Mythos would have the advantage, the truth of the matter was that her 12 small DRAGOONs were not capable of flight under earths gravity, only her four large DRAGOONs. She sent out the two large DRAGOONs to harass the 00. However, it kept its GN Buster sword mounted on its shoulder in shield mode, projecting a protective GN field over itself. In moment of distraction, the Mythos popped out from behind cover and turned all 12 small DRAGOONs, still mounted on the backpack and shoulders, to point towards the 00 and fired a searing volley. The 00 turned so that the buster sword could shield the brunt of the damage, but that left it open for the two Large DRAGOON pods to activate their beam spikes, which were capable of penetrating anti-beam fields. The 00 concentrated on deflecting these two with its swords, but they flew away to prevent from getting destroyed, while the other two large DRAGOONs that YingJue had not sent out until later and had kept hidden in the background suddenly flew towards the 00. The four DRAGOOns then plunged in mercilessly, taking the 00 out in a surprise hit.

Making sure no other suits were in the underground base, Mythos made its way out the hangar and to the surface, noticing an explosion the distance. The Mythos plunged into the jungle as YingJue realized that cover gave her an advantage. As long as her four large DRAGOONs still had the power to fly on their own, she would keep them flying nearby, out of sight to surprise and flank opponents.
