I'll be going on a two week vacation starting tomorrow and don't know how often I'll have Internet access. Thank you for your patience. I'll try to be more regular when I get back.

Kartal just stared into space, with his mind just loaded with one topic. It will be best to leave him at that for now.

YingJue bowed slightly and decided to leave Kartal alone with his thoughts. As much as he had helped her overcome her first loss, in the end, she herself had to be the one who had to improve, if she had not improved, no amount of help could have made her succeed. In this case, there was probably very little she could do to actually help him, and Kartal had to be the one to overcome this block of his.

Upon leaving him, YingJue noticed at a table further away, Gordon was hanging out with his friends celebrating his recent victory. YingJue approached and broke the ice by congratulating him, "That was an awe-inspiring victory, reminiscent of the time Shiro Amada used a Ball to defeat a Zaku in the 08th MS Team." She had been meaning to speak more with the Australian champion after the free-for-all battle, but didn't have much of a chance. She wanted to know why he seemed to condone what she had done to the Thai champion despite the sense of guilt and shame she felt. She also wondered what philosophy, what sheer skill could allow him to achieve the kind of victory that he had just displayed.
Hey, sorry for being AWOL. I guess I haven't been too sure what to do with YingJue, but I'll try to be more proactive from now on.
"Ensign Saturnalia Noelle, sir," she said, introducing herself and saluting. "I am affiliated with an as yet unnamed United Nations task force dedicated to the eradication of terrorism and the maintenance of peace and order." Saturnalia hoped that despite all these strange faction names being tossed around, the legitimacy and universality of The UN would give everyone a common starting point of discussion. "I was fortunate that an esteemed allied ace such as Captain Aker found me while I was stranded in this strange location."
YingJue was stunned to hear that Kartal had such a weakness. She didn't know what to say, so she just went to get some food before returning, hoping that a conversation over a meal can get him to stop beating himself up over this. "I've only known you for a short time, but I can tell you're strong. One defeat isn't going to take you down," she said, offering as much encouragement as she could.
Got my post up, though it's not much.
"Ensign Grant Nimitz, sir," Saturnalia spoke up, "The commandeered suit, I know how to activate it, so there will be no need to bring the prisoner back out." At Graham's prompting, Saturnalia followed their escort to the meeting room.
Hey, sorry for the long wait.

@GreenGoat, I hope you don't mind Arsenio being a creeper to Milya.
Pre-Time jump.

"Donald Sinclair?" Arsenio asked rhetorically, "a pleasure." On one hand, he blamed Milya and Donald for his failure in the previous mission. On the other hand, he knew better than to completely absolve himself of guilt and responsibility. At any rate the timing of the attack had not been in his favor. He decided not to hold their collective failure over their heads unless they managed to provoke him.
Post-Time jump.

A poker card flew towards Milya's face. "Milya~!" Arsenio called out from up on the catwalk of the hangar, "Do you want me to deal you in?" He continued flicking cards at her with surprising accuracy and made his way down to where she was working. "You wanna play Texas Hold'em?"
Finally got back in the groove of things, sorry for the long wait.

If your find being friends with an insane girl from an insane family with extreme possessive tendencies.

Won't be a problem, as should be obvious, Maya has her own eccentricities.

And yes, let's just skip dinner.
Hey, sorry for the long absence. I went right back to work after attending a conference over the weekend so I've been catching up with other things and being super tired. Will get a post up soon, tomorrow night at the soonest.
