Actually, Nalia's first assumption when she sees the Exia will be that it is a Celestial Being pilot/Gundam Meister, and she will probably try to shoot it down. As a reminder, Saturnalia is originally part of Ribbons Almark's group, the bad guys from Gundam 00, and will consider the Exia an enemy. The reason she has the Virtue in her possession is because it was stolen/salvaged/refurbished. it will be interesting to have both Reve and Nalia working together in the same ship, but Nalia might not be the best person to convince Reve to join.
Replying to Donna, Saturnalia said, "I think one time, Union...that's the nation that Captain Aker hails from...was attacked by Celestial Being, a terror organization that was the first to develop and use Gundams for combat. if I recall, the Union forces were powerless to stop the Gundams; and if Captain Aker was part of that force, it might be this sense of powerlessness that drives him to want to compete against Gundams. He was a world renowned ace pilot before the advent of Gundams, the Flag Fighter was the most technologically advanced and fastest mobile suit in existence. The fact that he continues to use it tells me that he probably believes that the sword doesn't make the warrior," Saturnalia pointed out.

When Instructor W mentioned that he developed Gundams, Saturnalia was a bit taken aback. Where she was from, it was a well-kept secret that the Gundams were the brainchild of the prophetic Aoelia Schoenberg, and that the only information on how to build a Gundam was stored within Veda. Though long dead, Aoelia was the only person from the previous generations that Saturnalia had any real respect for. As an Innovade who considered herself as the next generation of humanity, she blamed the previous generation for their disunity, greed, violence, and general mismanagement of resources and lives. In her ideal world, Ribbons will finally have taken over the entire Earth Sphere and the enlightened Innovades will rule mankind and steer them towards progress and prosperity.

As the pilot of the new Gundam got out of his suit and was escorted to the conference room, Saturnalia decided not to follow. "I bet Captain Hiyan's giving him the conscription offer. I wonder which one he'll choose."
Sorry everyone, and especially to Sugihito for holding his character up. Work has been kicking me in the nards recently and I'm not getting enough sleep. I'll try to post soon (within 12-24 hours), but I can't guarantee anything. Sugihito, if you want to post, go ahead; just assume that Saturnalia has been in conversation with Linda and Instructor Q, and if necessary, make Nalia follow Linda around if they get out of their suits or what not.
Hey, really wanted to apologize for the delay. i was having trouble coming up with something to write (I know it's an overused excuse). I also wanted to just say that my last IC post was not meant to be any sort of passive aggressive response to being ignored or anything, but I figured I'd roll with the punches as it were and set it up so that YingJue starts having some doubts about her friends to further push her down the path of ruthelssness.

And yeah, I used the same anime character (Tsukamoto Yakumo from School Rumble) as the visual for both YingJue and another character in another gundam RP I'm in with Sugihito
As no one answered her question, YingJue wondered if perhaps Gordon was right, it was every man for himself, and they couldn't let anything stand between themselves and victory. As nice as Kartal and Hedy were, they'd probably betray each other if it was advantageous. YingJue remembered how when she was training with Hedy, it felt as if Hedy was holding back, that she was unwilling to give certain tips for fear of giving away her own strategy.

As the group separated, YingJue walked back to her hotel room with a strange, disconnected, numb feeling.
Yeah, congratulations!
When Donna asked Saturnalia if she would be fine with the instructor commanding, she replied, "A sound plan. As for staying close to the ship, I would have it no other way. Since coming here, the forces to which I owe my allegiance seem to have vanished. I have no way to contact my former allies, no idea where my prior enemies are, and no way to know who our current enemies are. That being said, I agree to follow a path of minimal aggression and choose to stick to defending."

When the scouts returned with a new suit, Saturnalia kept the Virtue's beam bazooka pointed at it in case it attacked. When Graham quipped at the size of her suit, she simply kept silent and shook her head. Among Union, Graham was a war hero, but now Nalia saw him as just a cocky ace with mobile suit envy. She also perceived him as simple-minded, with no appreciation for strategy, nor for the utility and necessity that an artillery suit like the Virtue brings. As far as she was concerned, Graham was her polar opposite: he wanted to duel other gundams, while she wanted to disengage and bombard; he wanted to get to know his enemy, while she saw them as numbers and statistics; he enjoyed the thrill of battle, while she saw no reason or purpose to fight unless she had orders from a world that seemed now so far away.

"You know," Saturnalia began, speaking to Donna, "You're fortunate you and the instructor came together. I mean, I knew of Captain Aker because he's fairly famous, but I hadn't met him until now, and well, he's kind of just a battle nut. And well, the prisoner is a notorious terrorist, so I knew of her as well, but we're not exactly friends."
So Green Goat's character is also from the 00 universe? Here's a link to my character. Although I think our characters would be from parallel timelines of the 00 universe. So far, I've been playing it that Nalia cannot access Veda at all in this alternate universe. Even though I never mentioned it, the idea I had was that before she meets Graham and subsequently gets rescued by the Sundown and other PC's, she had to spend a day in the Virtue reprogramming it to function without a direct link to Veda, as the Gundams from that universe from season one needed to be synced to the cloud (Veda). By second season, they removed this dependency. Also, to emphasize, Nalia was part of Ribbon's team, the "Innovators" having stolen the remains of the Virtue and rebuilt it with the intent of using the Trial system against Celestial Being. Depending on your character's history, she may or may not be aware of Ribbon's gang of Innovators, but Nalia will definitely know Celestial being and recognize the Exia. Nalia considers Celestial being a terrorist organization, and claims to support Earth governments, which is why she gets by being allied to the Sundown which is mostly OMNI, Earth Federation, and other Earth groups. Putting this out there so you know where my character's coming from when our characters meet.
As Saturnalia wondered if what else she could ask Grant, Lieutenant Lyons came and Dragged Grant away on a recon mission. When the message came that a possible enemy had been spotted, she made to get ready, but first she walked up to Donna who was looking over the Sandrock.

"I guess we should get ready," Saturnalia said, trying not to be too pushy as she had heard that Donna had lost someone she knew in the battle where the Sundown had come to her, Graham, and Puru's rescue, so in a way, Saturnalia felt responsible. However, Saturnalia thought that it was rather inefficient if they didn't establish some sort of chain of command so she decided to bring it up, "As members of the Independent Ops team, we should appoint a leader. As of right now, I have no desire nor aversion for the position, however, I must make it clear that I feel Miss Puru lacks the maturity to take a leadership role. Well, just something to think about, for now, I'm taking the Virtue up onto the deck of the Sundown to take a defensive artillery position in case any enemies appear."

Saturnalia headed for her suit, open to continuing the conversation with Donna should she reply. If Donna got into the Sandrock, they could also continue to converse through the comm.
YingJue saw that her standings were fairly low. She simply shrugged it off, thinking that it was due to her being a first time participant who hadn't yet gained enough popularity. She failed to check her previous day's standing, which was significantly higher as a lot of people had admired her unique fighting style and saw her as a dark horse, a rising star. Her popularity had dropped dramatically within the course of a day due to her actions during the free-for-all segment; a detail she failed to notice.
