A strange, fluid beam poured out of Asteria's repair nozzle, coating the broken pod in a green glow. The pod regaiend it's original structure and shape, cracks mended, and entire missing chunks reformed. Claire could notice a meter in her HUD slowly decreasing, showing expenditure of the nanomaterial being used to repair the pod.

"That's...amazing..." Maya said, slightly dumbstruck, "I looked over the specifications of Asteria, but I almost didn't believe that something like this could exist."

"Repair technology like this alone would make the the entire Cadmus project worth it, more-so than even the cogs themselves," Sion added. For the most part, the other cogs were simply glorified weapons platforms, and did not really add new technology, they simply had unique ways of using what already existed.

Solomon secretly glared at Asteria for having stolen Legion's thunder. Maya however, soon changed the pods t ochange behavior and start moving so the pilots could start training on hitting moving targets, giving Solomon another chance to show off. "Ha! Feast your eyes on this!" Legion threw its arms outwards as 18 bits detached from it. Each bit flew about independently, circling Legion like a swarm of hornets. He then sic'ed the bits after the moving pods. The bits flew very quickly and fired at a target from multiple angles, making a deadly, inescapable net of beams. Solomon felt a severe strain in his temples as he realized the cog's control system was somehow getting inside his head, which was the only way he could have been able to control all 18 bits simultaneously and with such precision. However as the strain intensified, the bits became increasingly harder to control, but Solomon would never admit that; he was too busy trying to show off.

""That's incredible!" Israfil spoke up. This unfortunately got Solomon's attention, and as he turned his focus on Orpheus, so too did the bits. Without warning, some of the bits started firing on Orpheus, while others simply rammed into it mindlessly. It was all Israfil could do to make Orpheus close its shields around itself, but it had already sustained considerable damage. The bits continued the attack.
Because Maria showed weakness by saying that her heart would break if Eponine turned against her, Fantine reassessed how she viewed Maria. "I'm sure that in the beginning, Eponine served you only so she could protect me. I think I can say with confidence that that is no longer the case. Despite the walls she puts up around her, Eponine cares for you too. The two of us will never leave your side."

If Violetta was in here as Eponine surmised, then the best way to find her was to head for the center. Eponine looked down as a slight jab of terror flashed through her. She had no idea what would happen if she lost her footing and fell into the sky, but just thinking about it made it difficult just to keep balance. Heights were not Eponine's strong point; her preferred method of fighting was being completely grounded and using her stability to her advantage. She was also not so good when it came to mobility, jumping from upside-down tree branch to upside-down tree branch would be a difficult chore requiring more magic than most other magical girls needed to use for such a feat. Eponine started dashing forward, taking careful jumps, trying not to be too wasteful of her magic, though she slipped a few times and used a bit of magic to give herself the little boost she needed to make it to the next branch. Eponine hoped she could make it to the buildings where she could at least stand on the ceiling before being assaulted by familiars.
I was thinking Pharazon arrives at the gate 15-30 minutes early. I'll edit my post and let Arienne arrive at the gate first.
Starting this RP now, Opening Post is up. Feel free to give a character introduction, you can do flashbacks, backstory, etc. You can also describe whether you got to Pythagoras early or day of, if you explored the planet or the spaceport, if you stayed and if so, where. You can finish your post arriving at gate G3, or if you want, you can get into some mischief in the spaceport. if multiple people arrive at the gate, feel free to interact with each other, or you can interact with Pharazon.
More than a year ago, the entire citizenry of Horizon underwent a mandatory, mysterious scan. A select few had been contacted, and asked to cooperate. In essence they were being drafted, though the assignment had to be voluntary to a certain degree. Once consent had been given however, there was no turning back. To pull out at this stage of a secret military project was treason. It wasn't mandatory, but the volunteers were encouraged to enlist for basic military training and discipline. However, training and discipline were not stressed as there was an unusual desire to preserve the volunteers 'as they are' as much as possible for reasons of compatibility. At any rate, some already came with military or pseudo-military background, and as far as team composition was concerned, the amount of training and discipline was considered, 'enough to get by'.

The day had finally come. Each volunteer, each prospective 'cog' pilot, was ordered to report to the space elevator on Pythagoras, the capital planet of Horizon. The space elevator was in essence, a space station in geosynchronous orbit that was tethered to the surface of the planet by massive cables. Large elevator trains ran up and down the cables, carrying freight and passengers to and from the surface to the orbital platform. The platform itself was organized like a massive airport, a spaceport to be precise. It included a 'residential district' that operated more or less like a hotel, as well as shopping centers, food courts, service kiosks, etc. The arrival and departure gates connected to short-range shuttles that carried freight and passengers to the actual starships that hovered in orbit in the vicinity of the spaceport. Each pilot was ordered to report to departure gate G3 at 0700 hours universal time to catch shuttle 1543, which will take them to the Horizon Defense Fleet Evolution, the carrier designed specifically for housing the products of this particular military project.
Fantine was a bit taken aback by Maria's question. Recruiting (sort of) Chloe was something Maria probably could be proud of, but Fantine didn't see that keeping Eponine's loyalty was something Maria should gloat about. If anything, Maria should be showing relief at having kept Eponine's loyalty, and maybe even a little shaken that she had risked losing it in the first place, but the way Maria asked this question implied that she felt neither.

Of course, Fantine chose to indulge Maria's question, "If I were to guess, I think you're happy because you managed to make that other magical girl join you." Fantine chose to leave Eponine out of her response. She hadn't seen her sister so emotional for a long time, and didn't like how it seemed that Maria was taking such a powerful and shaking moment for Eponine and chalking it up as another 'achievement'. Though perhaps Fantine was misreading Maria's demeanor; Maria's response may reveal something else.
Legion sidled up next to Nix. Though he did not express it out loud, Solomon sneered at the Nix's seemingly lackluster weapons loadout. He had done a quick run-through of Legion and was quite impressed with the weaponry. Legion dramatically leveled its right arm towards one of the targets letting all three arm-mounted bits fire 12 beams towards one of the targets, destroying it instantly. Solomon chuckled to himself as Legion leveled both arms, this time, letting all 12 arm-mounted and shoulder mounted bits fire at independent targets, loosing 48 separate beams and flooding the area in front of him with destructive light.

"Impressive," Sion noted after witnessing Legion's demonstration.

Israfil also tried shooting the targets. The cape-like mantle surrounding Orpheus opened up into six shield plates and pointed forward. Slow, powerful beams fired taking out a couple targets.

Tera used her bayonet to shoot at a couple of the closer targets, but soon stopped as she was busy examining the scanning equipment that Mayura had.
She can do either or. Probably the close ones, since I just realized that none of the ensigns specialize in melee combat. The only melee type is Maya's Obsidian.

Also, I added an image for Solomon's Legion, to give a general idea what Legion looks like.

EDIT: Claire can scan the one Tera just destroyed and repair it.
I'll say medium range
Hmm, maybe she can try out the damage scan
