@CandiKane - to answer your question, in all honesty, the topics I posted are ones that I will look at when browsing through int checks, but I'm always open to try new things, I just tend to RP more eccentric characters. I'm kind of "I don't know what I like until I've tried everything" and really, the quality of an RP depends not on its topic but the players. What RP's do you like?

@Ermine - Haha, if I made a CS of myself, I wouldn't use a real picture of myself but instead post an image of either one of three of my favorite (ones I identify closely with) anime characters, all voiced, surprisingly, by the same voice actress (Ogata Megumi):

I don’t have anything against foxes but the "what does the fox say" song is getting on my nerves. I think most people are naturally averse to polecats due to their olfactory defense mechanism, though from these questions, I'm assuming you're talking about furries. I'm not a furry, but I have nothing against them. If I were to choose a fursona indicative of my personality, I'd probably choose hedgehog (Hedgehog's Dilemma) or chameleon.

And I like cake.

Gunpla (Gundam) Build Fighters - To Reach For The Stars

OK, I was curious because the Seravee 3G can split into 1 manned suit and three remote controlled unmanned suits. OK, so Trans-Am is allowed but depends on pilot skill, what about the Trial System? It's usage is extremely specific to the 00 universe. Also will Phase Shift Armor from the Seed series have much of an effect? It sort of just explains why "gundams" had better defense than non-Gundam. So I haven't watched Build Fighters, so I hope you'll excuse the endless questions. I do know that in Build Fighters, there are builders and pilots, is that how it's going to be in this RP? And how many members per team?

Looking for long term RP partners [Casual-Advanced]

I think we met briefly in the last guild. I think I very nearly almost joined Kalmaysia Academy but dropped out because I got cold feet, couldn't keep up with the speed posting, and was too lazy to go through all the old posts to figure out what was going on (not criticizing, it just wasn't my cup of tea and I was fairly new to RP at the time).

Anyways, I wanted to introduce myself because your 1x1 RP request caught my fancy. I have a link to my intro post which you can peruse if you'd like, but I'm going to introduce myself here too. First off, I'm not comfortable enough to use my real name here, I hope that doesn't come off as one-sided. I can go by Stern, Algorithm, or Stern Algorithm, I have no preference.

-I consider my English quite good, though I've never had it properly judged, so I'm not really sure how my writing comes off to others.
-I can post 2-3 paragraphs or more if there's enough to go off of, I might give the occasional 1-2 liner, but I try not to.
-I should be able to post most weekday mornings-afternoons, but I will be unable to post on weekends.
-I like structure and building off of that (for example, right now I'm copying your method of bulleting and more or less answering your questions bullet by bullet. This bullet is an exception).
-I prefer original universes, and am glad you do too, I've GM'ed once with disastrous results, but I won't mind fleshing out a world with someone.

So I looked through your list of characters just to see what was there and noticed you had a character using an image of Kaworu Nagisa and another using an image of Ayanami Rei. I'm assuming you like Evangelion, which, if true, is awesome, if not, that's ok too. On that note, I liked your F2000 character and wouldn't mind coming up with an RP and world incorporating that character.

But seriously,

I'm Stern Algorithm, you can call me Stern or Algorithm. Not my real name (clearly). I was on the old forum with the same name, but a few months of internship followed by a few months of being in a different country meant that I had no idea the guild had undergone so many changes (as well as being away from RP for practically half a year or more). I am now back home and no longer in an internship and on the hunt for my next job. I look forward to reconnecting with some old friends and meeting some new ones.

A few notes about my schedule:

1. I live in America, Pacific Time.
2. I live with family, and I spend time with them during weekends and holidays and will probably have difficulty posting on such days. I realize this is counter to most people's schedules, but that's just how it is.
3. I am back at work with my internship as well so I don't have much time to myself on weekdays in the day, and I spend time with my family at night. I work Monday-Thursday, so my optimal time for posting is Friday in the day when I'm by myself at home and my sibling is out working.
4. This ultimately means that you can maybe expect 1-3 posts per week.
5. That doesn't mean I won't try my best to accommodate other people, but I'm terrible at speed-posting and at keeping up with those who do, and will fall by the wayside and probably drop out if that happens.
6. I hope this doesn't come off as selfish, but I like when people wait for me or give me a gentle nudge. I will try to communicate as much as possible.

If I am GMing, then you have been redirected here for instructions on how to reserve your position in my RP. These are my conditions
1. Your personal schedule is not in direct conflict with mine or that you at least understand my schedule (see above).
2. I would prefer you to post at least 3-4 times per week and not hold up the RP.
3. I would prefer you to not back-and-forth speed post with one other person and leave other RPers behind.
4. In short, I request moderation, though I understand that as GM, it's my responsibility to keep things engaging and to set the pace.
5. Please don't drop out for days without a word. If you need to be away for a bit, or are leaving permanently, please let the RP know and if necessary, put your character in a position to accommodate the change, or relinquish control of the character.
6. I have no standards for post length. One-liners are annoying, but are sometimes a necessary evil just to push things forward or to have conversations instead of monologues. I much prefer good grammar and spelling. Honestly, if it's not a confusing jumble where I don't know who is doing what, then I should be able to tolerate it.
7. Finally, the part you've all been waiting for, to reserve a spot in my RP, let me know that you are reserving a spot, say whatever else you want to say, and then include: a power of two that is three digits or higher, ie., 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, etc. My favorite is 65536.

However, I am a bit wary of fandom RP's simply because I have a difficult time holding onto extensive lore and tons of characters, especially for loooong-running series, so my preference is obviously non-fandom RP's, even though I realize a lot of my interests can easily be assigned to the various fandoms that exist out there.

I prefer casual RP since I sometimes have difficulty squeezing out 10 paragraphs per post and as mentioned above, have difficulty keeping up with speed posts.

I have tried GMing a game once, but that sort of crashed and burned. Before I try that again, I would like to co-GM first.

Other than that, I really have no aversions to anything, I'm an adult and can handle my gore and sex and other R-rated stuff. I've been to some of the weirder places on the internet, but if you want to RP a kink, ask first and I'll think about it.

Also, I'm male and tend to RP males, though I can RP maybe one or two female archetype characters at best.

If I left anything out, I'm open to suggestions to improve this post, but other than that, I'm glad to be back.

Gunpla (Gundam) Build Fighters - To Reach For The Stars

A few points followed by a few questions.

Points. I love Gundam, I have watched many of the series (Wing, Seed, 00, etc) and some of the movies. I haven't watched Build Fighters. I love Gunpla, but I couldn't bring myself to watch an anime about it, which I hope isn't too weird. however, I think roleplaying a Gunpla tournament is a great idea.

Questions. Do we need to have 4 suits (3 and 1 alternate) or is fewer allowable. How many suits does the GN-008GNHW/3G Seravee Gundam count as? Of course, If I'm allowed to use this suit, I understand that the Trial System and Trans-Am System are moot. If the above mentioned suit does not count as four suits, I'd also like to use Legend Gundam. Do dragoons/funnels/fangs/(any form of remote control of multiple weapons flying about) count as a special system that will be knocked down for the sake of balance? How many people are expected to be in the team?
