False Dichotomy: A Mahou Shoujo/Shounen RP

Hey all,

I'm just giving this thread a firm kick in the rump to see if it's dead or not. If you're still interested let me know, if not, you can let me know or just not reply. If you still want to do a Magical girl RP but with a simpler premise, we can do that too. If you don't want to do a magical girl RP anymore, but still want to RP with me (I'd be honored) I could probably come up with something else.

I'm mainly asking because I never want to GM multiple RP's simultaneously, and the dead-ness of this thread will let me know whether or not I can drop this one and try GMing another RP.

As a final note, no offense has been taken nor will be. I too have committed "the grievous sin" of showing interest in and joining an RP and then dropping off the face of the earth without warning (it happens) and I will not cast the first stone, though I try my best not to anymore.

One Piece RP: Along For The Ride

Sorry about the short post, there's not much action on the ship. I also think that Handel and Lucky should spend some 'actual time' prepping the ship, instead of magically finishing everything quickly and jumping straight into battle for realism. Like in One Piece, not every member gets to participate in every battle.

EDIT: I don't know anything about ships but Handel is supposed to, which is why I have to just make it sound plausible that Handel knows what he's doing even though I don't.

History: YingJue's mother was an engineer who did work on unmanned drones, and being a single mother, would sometimes take YingJue to work. YingJue grew up around machines and robotics. Seeing this, her mother encouraged her developing engineering mind by getting her toys that would promote this, like Legos and Gunpla. It should come as no surprise that YingJue would become something of a robotics otaku, and she fell in love with the Gundam universe, especially with funnels, bits, DRAGOON's, etc, because they reminded her of her mother's work in aerial drones. YingJue focused on her studies and is now in the middle of graduate school doing research on radio frequency and communications arrays. She joined the Gunpla club on campus and has followed her team to tournaments, but thanks to her uncanny sense of spacial awareness and relentless firepower, she soon rose to the top, first in intramural competitions, then university competitions, then in nationwide competitions. She is now set to represent China at the Tenth Gundam Battle World Championship International Tournament.

Heir of the Mitsumine Clan - A Japanese Style Clan Raising RP

I'm thinking of making a shrine priest/ess who is a younger sibling of the heir, who will become an ambassador to the spirits/youkai in order to elicit supernatural aid. Will also function as a "support mage".

Gender of my character will depend on other people's preferences, as I usually try to go for a nice gender balance.

However, if it turns out we have too many squishies and non-fighters, I can opt to play a tankier individual, like a samurai or monk.
