Also unless you're not on the island it should be in a sim bro. This is a top secret project you don't just move gundams out in the middle of a neutral island not even affiliated with your faction.

Ok, I'll change it when I get home
Yeah, I understand. I only picked ensign after doing research on the SEED universe. Although in all truth, rank hardly matters since chain-of-command doesn't actually apply to their situation. Arsenio takes orders exclusively from his babysitter, and has no authority to give commands to anyone else, I would imagine.
Inside a Morgenroete military hangar on Onogoro Island, a grey mobile suit was undergoing performance calibrations.

"Raise the right arm."

Arsenio, sitting in the cockpit of the Duel Gundam groaned as he did as commanded.

"Now lower it."
"Now raise it a little faster. Good."

Arsenio sighed.

"Now lower your right arm, and raise your left arm."

Arsenio continued to oblige, as they went down to leg lifts. Then a light array was placed in front of the Gundam's head. The lights blinked on and off, and it was up to Arsenio to turn the head to look at the lights. These numbingly boring procedures were to assess the most recent set of fine-tuning that had been done to the hardware and software. As the project was top-secret, they weren't exactly allowed to take the suit out for a test run or combat simulations.

"Alright, we got good data today, thank you for your cooperation. You may now go through the usual virtual training."

Arsenio remained in the cockpit seat while the inside lit up showing him a virtual environment. The suit ran a virtual combat simulator, a sort of game that he played to train his battle reflexes. Since it was all electronics, the controls were temporarily disconnected from actually controlling the suit while he trained, so he could move the controls around and fire his virtual weapons without the mech moving. Arsenio was told that all prospective mobile suit pilots trained on this program, though few of them actuality ran the program inside an actual suit. At least, Naturals used this same program, he wasn't sure what the Coordinators up in space used to train, or if they even needed training at all. As far as Arsenio was concerned, the Coordinators deserved to win the war as there was no such thing as an unfair advantage. Of course, he couldn't really voice his opinions out loud as the organization that created him got support from Blue Cosmos, a powerful, anti-Coordinator group. At any rate, world affairs were none of his business, his concern has and always would be his immediate environment and his standing within it.

He wished the program had leaderboards, so he could see how high he ranked against all these filthy Naturals. But then, the thought of the other Extended back at Lodonia Lab outscoring him made him grimace. The only reason he was here was because right now, only Coordinators and Extended like himself were skilled enough to pilot mobile suits, but being a 'weaker' Extended, he was here on this project to help them design mobile suits that even Naturals could pilot. The thought made him laugh but it also made him sick, and in a moment of distraction, his virtual mobile suit was destroyed. He stared blankly at it, wondering if he should stop training for now or if he wanted to just stay in the cockpit for a bit and cherish his isolation.
I'm curious to know which of our characters should know each other already. From what I can tell from reading the histories, Alexander Cross (Krayzikk), Milya Sveis (Green Goat), and Arsenio Forneus (my character) have been on the G-Project for a bit. Stella Yong (Aristo) seems to be a new transfer (I could be wrong), and Richard Stone (vancexentan) and Augustus Magnusson (AcerRO) come off as ambiguous to me; they're both ORB military for sure, but whether they're on the project or not is unstated. Just wanted to clear this up so I know how to make Arsenio behave around everyone. Also, since the other Druggies at the time were ranked ensign, I suppose Arsenio is also probably ensign ranked as well.

For now, I'm thinking Arsenio's babysitter has expressly ordered him to "play nice" so he hasn't gone too far in his abuse of Alexander or Milya.

At any rate, you can count on Arsenio to be at the base, since he's practically married to the G-Project and his Gundam.
Character Sheet:
Character's Name: Arsenio Forneus
Nicknames: Arsen (Because Arsenio is a mouthful, just don't call him 'Arse', he hates that)
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Appearance:

Special Skills: Military training, piloting training
Genetic Type: Extended
Personality: Arsen sees life as a meritocracy, a game with rules where those with ability earn power. He doesn't believe in passion, to him, people only selfishly like what they're good at and selfishly dislike what they're bad at. Everything comes down to ability, so passion is a false ideal. He likes piloting because he's good at it. Life is a competition so he sees every one of his peers as potential rivals. Because of this mindset, he is surprisingly obedient to authority compared to other Extendeds, though extremely abusive and condescending to anyone below him in rank or ability. He knows how to act sociable and friendly, but he reserves this for his superiors. In a large group setting, his personality can often be seen flipflopping between being humble and acquiescent to his superiors and arrogant and stubborn to his inferiors. This is not multiple personality disorder though, he simply grades everyone he sees, and behaves accordingly.
History: Arsenio's past and records have been erased by the Extended Project. He lived in an orphanage, but the secret program filled out the requisite paperwork and took custody of him. Among the other Extended candidates at Lodonia Lab, Arsenio was given a new name, brainwashed and subjected to various surgical, psychological and chemical enhancements. He had shown higher performance compared to his peers initially, giving him a superiority complex, but as the program dragged on, the overseers found that he had peaked, while the others continued to grow and improve. Considering Arsenio something of a failure, they continued to train the ones they viewed had more potential, and transferred Arsenio to Onogoro Island as a test pilot for the G-Project. Because the G-Project and the Astray programs were intended for the production of mass-produced mobile suits that could be piloted by Naturals, Arsenio's value lay in his mediocrity as a bridge between the ultra-talented Extendeds and Coordinators and the Naturals. Arsenio has been at the island since, assigned to the first suit and main test-bed of the prototype Gundam series, the Duel Gundam.
Other: His Extended 'quirk'/coping mechanism is OCD. He deals with the chaos of battle and social interaction with extreme alone time, arranging chess pieces, lining up pencils, straightening furniture, etc. His personal belongings consist of a stash of traditional table-top board and card games. Though he has no one to play with, he sometimes plays one-player games like Solitaire, or will play with himself as multiple players. He does not have multiple personality disorder.

Character's Gundam/Mobile Suit: GAT-X102 Duel Gundam
Appearance:

List of Gundam/mobile suit's weapons:
-2X "Igelstellung"75mm Multi-barrel CIWS: Mounted in the Duel's head are two "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS guns. Although it is classified as an anti-air weapon, these light projectile weapons can be used to intercept missiles and to destroy lightly armored vehicles.
- 2X Beam Saber: Mounted in the backpack, these are the primary close combat weapons and can slice through any armor that does not have an anti-beam coating.
- 57mm High-energy Beam Rifle: Despite having the same name as Strike Gundam's beam rifle, this rifle used by Duel is of a different design and has an additional underslung grenade launcher. This is the suit's main ranged combat weapon and can easily destroy a ZGMF-1017 GINN with one shot, but is mostly ineffective against armor with anti-beam coating. It is mounted on the side skirt when not in use.
- 175mm Grenade Launcher: Fitted underneath the barrel of the beam rifle. This weapon did not see much use, but could presumably fire a variety of grenades.

- 350mm "Gáe Bulg" Rail bazooka: A projectile weapon that uses electromagnetic forces to launch the projectile. Originally developed for the Duel Gundam, it was taken for use by the Astray Gold Frame. (since it's possible the Gold Frame does not steal this weapon in our timeline, I may end up keeping it)

- Shield: The same shield as used by Strike Gundam, it does not have phase shift armor, so it is not as durable as the Duel's armor, however it also does not drain energy each time it is hit. The shield's major advantage is that it is anti-beam coated and can block or deflect beam weapon attacks, against which phase shift armor is ineffective.

I will keep this weapon/equipment list updated with impending future upgrades (like the assaultshroud armor add-on )
I can also put the pictures into hiders if they're annoying.

Fair enough don't expect him to be nice to you though.

Heh, I would want it no other way.
Lexus Dominiel repeated the Oath of the Angelics along with the rest of the Council. "How shall we organize? Who shall lead the vanguard? Who shall provide support from behind in the rearguard?" Lexus Dominiel raised one arm skyward where appeared a black singularity that led to a pocket dimension from which he pulled out his warhammer while another appeared by his other arm from which he pulled out his tower shield. "As ever, I am ready to Punish the Guilty," he said while striking the haft of his hammer into the ground, "and Defend the Innocent," he said while striking the head of his hammer against his shield. Though before heading off to battle, he wanted to have a few private words with his brother, Kalcius.
"I see," YingJue replied, "Thank you for trusting me enough to give me such vital information." The last few names the Kartal mentioned were returning veterans like himself, so YingJue figured she go and do some research on them in her own time. She suddenly thought that rather than being serious and discussing the competition the entire time, maybe she should actually try and make friends and socialize. "So what's your reason, what drives you to compete in the tournament?" she asked.
OK then, if you don't mind, could you make an NPC? I'd prefer to focus on just playing my character. I will have the CS ready soon hopefully.

I believe it's not a good idea but I'll let you make it.

Thanks! Also, Boosted Men/Extendeds usually have babysitters. Are you going to make such an NPC or do you want me to make that character (I can double if so)? Either way, let me know if OMNI has any special/direct orders for my character(s).
