When Royalty Collides

Welcome to the Kingdom of Aciras, the main Kingdom in all of the fair land. Here you may find the most prestigious families along with their children on the day of the one and only Grand Ball. From the time that the royal children were born, their parents had already chosen whom they would marry for them; Wether it be the other Kingdom in which they had an alliance, or, perhaps a Kingdom that they were wishing to form an alliance with. Upon the children of the Kingdoms coming to the age of marrying status, the King and Queen of Aciras is holding the Grand Ball for all of the children for the Kingdoms to meet. After the Ball, the royal families stay in the Castle for 3 months. Up until this moment, the children have never met or had any contact with one another. So, what will happen when the children finally meet and the royal families find that the heirs to the thrones are falling in love with the wrong person?

NPC Characters

Standing just shy of 6 feet, Lucian is the one and only King of Aciras. A loud, proud, and boastful man, Lucian is a man that takes pride in his parties and other such royal matters. However, when it comes to his daughter of other such serious matters, the man can become very protective.

A lady of elegance and beauty, Queen Lilith is almost the opposite of her husband. Quite and reserved, the woman can usually only be found speaking to the other queens, her husband or her daughter. However, if you get her angry, she will not hesitate to make a stand point of her own.

Standing at the height of 5 foot, 9 inches, Vincent is the King of Mirenia who is either loved or hated by his people. There is no in between for this man. Vincent can be very serious, but, when at royal functions such as the Grand Ball, can be fun to be around, making the occasional joke or two.

Adam is very in love with his second wife Sophie giving her anything and everything her heart desires.  He is a decent man simply adoring his wife and running his kingdom.  He is not a proper father however not raising his own children not speaking to them for days, he does love them however and does miss his last wife Lori Langar the mother of Dina.

Sophie is a slightly vane woman from being spoiled by her husband for so many years.  Her son Angel knows as much about his mother as her step daughter Dina never taking a favoriting to her own son.  Vacations and lovely gifts are all she has known since her marriage.  One thing that puts her below others in her place is that she was not a royal before her marriage causing a slight controversy for a short while, other than that she is a nice woman.

King Reinhold is seen by his subjects as one who ruled with an iron fist. The kingdom prospered under his reign, but at a price. He is a no nonsense kind of person and his intimidating aura was often enough to convince his people to follow his orders without a second thought. He very much adores Evie, but fears for her life should her secret be discovered.

Queen Sylva Fiske is a woman with a kind face and a warm smile. She was the daughter of a well loved Duke, and was adored by the Shdowpinians. She did noy approve of her husband's illegal activities and would rather put an end to it. She adored Evie until the member of the Sacregal informed her of Evie's true heritage. She thought that Evie would continue Reinhold's illegal activities and wanted nothing more than to remove her from the family and wanted Feliks to be the heir to the throne.

Shawn is a very serious man taking no joy in humor or other nanjoyable things.  He takes his place as King very seriously and is grooming his son to be the King one day not approving of many of his choices.  He is not a man for fun and would rather burry himself in his work than spend actuall time with his family.

Autumn is very judgemental of others' children basically thinking that if you can't raise a child correctly you might as well not run a kingdom, although this makes her a hypocrite because of Razzle's behavior.  She is cold and not at all in love with her husband just tolerating.  She is known to be snotty and at points down right rude.

The people of Xaecia looked to King Magnus for his ability to maintain a calm composure during any trial that arose in their kingdom and his rational way of thinking. He was of noble birth that married into the throne, and was praised by the Xaecians for his contributions to the kingdom's advancements. He was deeply in love with his wife, and her loss sent him spiraling into depression which caused the people who knew of this to wonder if their rational leader is still there. He is not a man to go back on his word, and would more easily swallow his pride than break a promise.

Born to the previous monarchs, Queen Stella was a woman appreciated by the people for her quick wit and ability to seamlessly manipulate the people around her without so much as a bat of an eye. She was seen by the people as someone unapproachable due to her intimidating stature, but it never bothered her. She never loved Magnus and only married him due to her parents' command, but stayed with him throughout the years because of his undying devotion to her. While she loved her sons, Blake would always be her favorite and the one she saw the most potential in. She died on April 3rd, which is now considered a holiday in Xaecia.

Claus, also known as the "War Tiger", is a military general and king of the Brittanian Empire. He has been the successful ruler for 36 years, with he himself being 57. Along with Oly, he was proven a powerful military tactitian and became head of the military. He is also referred to as the "Kind King" for his tendency to hold feasts for the poor in Brittania.

Marriane, often referred to as Marie, is the diplomatic leader, keeping the structure of the country running whilst her husband focuses on war tactics and the fighting iteself. She has been ruling for about 34 years, and is currently 54. She has been referred to as the "Benevolent Queen" in that she has, on multiple occasions, designated entire sectors of the empire to the homeless, providing comfortable living quarters and enough space to house them all.

Ming is a pragmatic and rational man, unlike his older brother, who had his head in the clouds. He can be brutally honest, and thinks that he's too old for the petty games that the younger members of court like to play. He would much rather go back to his home in the mountains and live out the rest of his days in peace than rule a country, but he does his duty for Mai's sake. Ming always had a strained relationship with the rest of his family besides his older brother (Mai's father). He has come to love Mai dearly, and he loves his country just as much. Despite his age, Ming has a quick intellect and a sharp tongue. He exudes an aura of authority and dignity, even though Mei'An isn't exactly the most powerful of nations at the moment. Ming is known to make practical laws and reforms that benefit all.

The king has earned the love of his people through kindness and respect over anything else. He is very cheerful and enjoys casual chats with his subjects, however, he can be very firm toward the village's crooks.

Unlike most women, Queen Nina believes it is a woman's duty to serve her husband. She believes deeply in arranged marriage. She is reserved and very firm. The queen and her daughter don't get along often

An arranged marriage to settle tensions between the states of Azaroth and Lethonia, went suprisely well given the circumstances. Have ruled the country for 30+ years, and are hoping their son will settle down with someone nice, and take over as king of Azaroth.

Age: 51
Personality: Gruff, professional, focused, no-nonsense. A soldier, a very focused person overall.
Basic Bio: Grew up under the last King's care, same stuff as Niklas's upbringing- military academy, private tutoring and training, traveled on diplomatic missions with his father, etc. Proved to be a stoic leader, solid as a stone mountain, somehow inspiring people with sparse, genuine compliments and sincere, almost paternal advice given, even in the form of reprimand or punishment.

As for Niklas's mother, No one's seen her for over fifteen years, no one's met her for over fifteen years, and to begin with, Niklas's mother is largely a mystery- even grainy long-distance photographs are rare.

Kalena is a very put together woman who knows how to run a country.  After the death of her husband she never remarried wanting to run it by herself considering she felt she could do better.  She lowered imports to the kingdom and kept exports the same growing their economy by quite a bit over the past few years.  Her son being of age is an opportunity for not only a queen to be at his side when he becomes king, but also a business opportunity with a very wealthy land.  Around 5'3 with long black hair and lovely brown eyes, she is a small yet respected thing for bringing her kingdom from shaky to solid once again.

Silent, serious, and yet, eccentric. Most of the time, Max - or Magnus as he is now known - is content to be quiet, and speak only when necessary. Behind that silent exterior, however, is a radically different world. A world that screams out to tear everyone around him to pieces, preferably in the most efficient way possible. A world driven by the need to survive.

Even more silent than her esteemed husband, they are similar in that both of them hint nothing about the thoughts that course through their minds - but the similarities halt there. Their minds are hardwired differently - her husband is an inferno, one who's thoughts are of engulfing those around him in flame to protect himself, but Delia is a land frozen in winter  - far wider than a fire in scope and magnitude, but meant to preserve the land so that spring may come again . . .

The commander-in-chief for all of Verenoblitus's armed forces. Her face is scarred with burns, yet it is still evident that once upon a time she was a rare beauty. Her behavior is erratic, prone to enraged outbursts as it is to fits of laughter, and yet she holds one of the sharpest - and most violent - minds in all of the Empire, successfully leading its armies to victory.

1.) Drama stay's in the IC. If a major problem arises in the OOC, please pm me or the fellow gm's and I'm sure we can work something out. If it is between you and on other specific user, take it to a private pm between the two of you.
2.) Romance is allowed, but all guild rules must be respected. Keep it at the limit's of kissing, please. Cursing is allowed, just don't go overboard with it. 
3.) A minimum of 2 well written paragraphs per post please.
4.) For you speed posters out there, allow two other people to post before you do. 
5.) Please post at the very least, 3 times a week. I would love for this RP to run smoothly as well as effectively. 
6.) You can have as many characters as you can handle. Let's try for even genders, please.
