I can't remember if I told you guys the story of my conception, but here ya go. Gonna go ahead and slap a trigger warning on this.

I was conceived in a McDonald's Freezer.

So my biological father is a piece of shit, and when my mom told him that she was pregnant, he threw her into a china cabinet and caused her to miscarry. Mom felt like since he took her baby - he owed her a baby.

My mother - then 17 at the time - decided to poke holes in all of their condoms. They hooked up one last time before she left him, and said time was in the freezer of the McDonalds that she was working at at the time. Found out she was pregnant a month and a half later.

So yeah. I was a revenge McDonalds freezer baby.

Trigger Warning for mentions of substance abuse, child abuse, and eating disorders.

Jaspers past is something that she always tries her hardest not to talk about.

Jasper and her twin brother Tiberius were born into an already failing marriage. Two young people married before they ever really had the chance to know one another, it didn't take long for Marie and Nicholas to realize that their marriage was failing. Despite her husbands cold demeanor, Marie did love him, and in one last, desperate attempt to get her husband to stay - they decided to have a baby. Nicholas wanted one child.One son. Jasper was the surprise - but obviously not a happy one.

In their haste to try and save their marriage, Jaspers parents failed to realize just how much responsibility having children was. Bounced around from Nanny to Nanny during their early childhood, Marie and Nicholas were always focusing on their careers more than their family. When a car crash caused Marie to break her left leg, the woman gave up her modeling career, convinced that it was the end of the world. By the time that her leg was healed, Marie had began to drink heavily and became addicted to the pain pills that the doctor had prescribed her. Being stuck at home with her children made her begin to hate them. One last failed attempt to find a caregiver for his children, Nicholas finally found a nanny named Rosalinda, who took great care of the kids. While she wasn't a replacement for Jaspers parents, she did help the kids in many ways.

Rosalinda is who Jasper has to thank for her ability to play the violin and guitar. She also owes the woman for sheltering her and her brother from their parents arguments.

Obsessed with her own body image, when Jasper hit the age of thirteen, her mother began to hound her over her weight. Beginning to grow into her body shape more now with puberty, Jasper did need new clothes every now and then - but she was by no means overweight. Sadly, Marie didn't look at it the same way.

From the age of thirteen until she was sixteen, Jasper was constantly told that she was fat, overweight, and even ugly. She knew that she would never be a model like her mother, and that didn't bother her. What did bother her, however, was the fact that her mother would do things to make Jasper feel fat. The young woman recalls on multiple occasions where her mother would buy clothes that were to small for her and expect her to be able to fit them. When she couldn't, Jasper was more or less forced to exercise at home, and eat small portions of so called healthy foods. Ty did his best to make his sister feel more valid in her own skin, but he could only do so much. While their mother was mentally and verbally abusive, their father was physically. Ty took the brunt of most of his rages for her.

By the age of fourteen, Jasper had began to develop an eating disorder. She would go days without eating only to gorge herself and ultimately feel guilty and make herself sick. When Marie found out, she was more than sure to let her daughter know that she thought she was a freak.

"If you didn't eat all the time, and actually followed the exercise, it wouldn't be so hard for you to be thin," she would say.

Her mother - to everyone surprise - actually put her daughter into therapy. While it took three years and her mothers eventual death to over come her eating disorder, Jasper was more than grateful for her brother and Rosalinda being there for her in every way that they could be.

Finding a love for cooking after her mothers death, Jasper fount that having curves and indulging yourself wasn't a bad thing at all. Jasper is now proud to say that she is comfortable in her own skin.

As payback for Ty standing up to him, their father has decided to split the twins up for Christmas this year. Thus, Jasper is now as Second Horizons

"This will be my fifth. I started coming to Second Horizons when I was fourteen, all the way until the age of eighteen. The first two years, I only went for the summer retreats. The last two I came here for both winter and summer. I took a break to go to college and start life as an adult. All that fun shit, ya know? Now... now I'm taking some time off. The rest of the family is busy with their lives and for the first time ever - we aren't doing Christmas as a family. So here I am ready to enjoy all of the things Second Horizon has to offer."

"Blue has always been my home at camp. I'd be shocked if I wasn't sorted there again this year."

"Yes, coming here was my choice."

"Let's see... I've taken lessons here every year they could. I've been snow boarding with friends and family here and there a few times... But yeah. I'll take lessons again. Never hurts to do a refresher course - and maybe the kids seeing a counselor training will make them want to do the same."

"The hot springs. Being in charge of my own cabin. Shit like that."

"Not seeing my family. I know we're all busy and decided to not do family dinner this year, but... I miss those fuckheads."

"Let's start with the good things first.

Mom always said I was energetic. As a kid, I practically bounced off the walls. As an adult, nothing much has changed. I've calmed down a little, and my sentences don't run on as much, but I've been told I give off crackhead vibes - in a good way, of course. I have dad's charm. My brother Nicholas got that too. It must be genetic. I consider myself a compassionate, and caring person. Sometimes I tend to act more like my friends mom than I do an actual friend. Having said that, I'm also very protectiveover the ones I love and care for. My loyalties run super deep, and I'll be the first to admit that sometimes that loyalty does blind me.

I'm a firm believer that everyone deserves a second chance, and that everyone should be who they want to be. I love new experiences; New people, new foods, new places...

Now for the bad.

I'm a competitive person. Sometimes I can be a little aggressive. I like to say sarcastic shit. I'm not a liar, and I'll tell you things exactly as I see them. To top it all off, I'm impulsive. If I want to do something, I'm going to do it, no matter who lies it or who doesn't. Sometimes I don't think about things before I do them. While I'm a smart person, I can be big dumb on occasion."

► Brief history:

Born and raised in Manhattan New York, Fiona is the first born daughter of the tight-nit Salvador-Grey family. The most well behaved child out of the bunch, Fiona is told that she never went through the terrible two's, or really gave her parents any trouble in her early years. Due to her mother being very hands on with her children, Fiona usually spent her days after school in her mothers music studio. It didn't take long for Fiona to fall in love with music, or to want to learn how to play it. She began piano lessons at age five, and violin lessons shortly there after. At age eight, she picked up guitar lessons. At age ten, she switched out piano for learning the drums. The rest of her music lessons carried on until age thirteen.

Being an older sister was nice, though the Twins From Hell could make anyone want to pull their hair out every once in a while. Fiona rarely ever got into any trouble at school, only ever landing herself in detention three times her whole academic career. Her grades never feel below a B+ average in any class. Fiona was just about as close to an exemplary student as you could get.

Once she reached her teenage years, Fiona began to give her parents just a little more trouble than they were used to. Her free spirit and inherited stubbornness lead her to sneak out to parties a fair share of times. While Fiona's version of acting out was essentially the same thing that every other kid did on a normal day, it was unexpected from her. Flirting with attractive people became one of her favorite pastimes, but she made sure to keep up with her studies, as well as family Zumba class.

The family was ecstatic when she received her acceptance letter to her mothers alma mater. Fiona instantly knew upon acceptance and from her mothers stories that Meadow University was the place for her.

After spending the last two years at college, Fiona is taking a small breather and now attending Second Horizons.

"Oh gosh, what can I say?

I'm the youngest of five kids, and they only guy. My mom and dad really wanted a son and it looks like they lucked up on the fifth try. Well... sort of. I don't think my parents planned for me to be gay. That was a curve ball for them, but they loved me all the same - even if dad was disappointed I didn't want to play football.

Now I don't need to give you guys my whole life story, and quite frankly I don't wanna share it. All you need to know is that I work a little part time job back in Ohio and saved money for weeks so that I could come here.

Why?

Christmas with my family is hell.

Forty fucking people trying to pack into ONE house because they're too cheap to rent a hotel room, then arguing over who can and can't stay there. People sleeping in the bath tub, underneath the dinning room table. At least three fist fights break out. You can bet at least one of them will involve Uncle Danny's drunk redneck ass.

But I don't have to worry about that this year! I'm so glad to be at Second Horizons."

Personality Traits

Raven - like her father - is proud and take pride in what she does. She's been told more than once that her pride and honor will be her downfall. One thing that most people notice is her temper - much like her mothers. It takes a lot to get her angry, but once she's reached that point she is an absolute nightmare. A witty girl, sharp remarks and sneaky glares are more than common with Raven. Despite her similarities with her parents, Raven is the reserved kind, always have said to keep her feelings under lock and key. So reserved, it is said by some, that the girl is not able to feel emotion at all.

However, that could not be further from the truth. Raven feels things very intensely - sometimes a bit to much. This causes her to have very high moods and very low moods. Diagnosed with anxiety and manic depression, Raven is very self critical and cares a lot more than she should about what others think of her. She seeks validation in others, and becomes attached to people way to easily. Her depression causes her to unintentionally distance herself from everyone and everything, making it difficult to keep any relationship.

Raven is a girl with a witty comeback for just about anything. She doesn't speak unless spoken to on most occasions, but when she does speak Raven is a very charming and charismatic person. She is also very head strong and independent. Once she gets an idea she tends to run with it, and it's very hard to drop it - even when things go south. The young may come off as sweet and kind to people who get to know her - which isn't wrong. Raven has a big heart, and knows how to have fun just like anyone else. Don't be fooled; just because she is sweet and polite doesn't mean that she can't be bitter and cruel.

Biography

Raven grew up on the Upper East Side of New York in a lavish town home. Her father is the United States Congressman Charles James Willow. Raven's mother is Alexandra Divina Willow (formerly Castairs) - a socialite and renowned plastic surgeon to the stars. Both of Ravens parents grew up in the socialite world, and raised their daughter just the same. Most people would tell you that arranged marriages were a thing of the past - but not in communities such as the one where Raven grew up. Her parents marriage was out of ambition and the need to protect family fortunes - not out of love. Their daughter was unwanted, and the pregnancy was carried out only to keep up with appearances.

From an early age, Raven knew that her family had high expectations. Her grandfather wanted her to be witty, and to be well educated. Her grandmother wanted her to be poised and graceful. Her mother wanted her to be pretty and well mannered. Her father wanted her to follow in his valedictorian footsteps, attend Church every Sunday, and to conform to the traditional female roles.

Raven was raised mostly by the families staff. She went through a series of nannies before finding one that would actually stick with her. The family fired the nanny when Raven was thirteen - leaving her mostly to her own devices and unattended. Truth to be told, she was closer with the house maid than she ever was her own mother. Dad was an abusive alcoholic, and mom was a fat shaming bitch. Raven prayed each day when she returned home that her parents wouldn't be there.

Growing up, Raven found a lot of distractions in life. Home was hell, school was just as worse. So she turned to horseback riding, music, and writing. Eventually her mothers berating lead Raven to develop an eating disorder at thirteen, and her fathers abuse drover her to a suicide attempt at fourteen. Her parents didn't care enough to realize that they're daughter was on the verge of being anorexic until the doctors told them. Thankfully, her parents fear of having their daughters mental health ruin their appearance to the public lead them to seeking therapy for Raven. She was diagnosed with anxiety and manic depression at fifteen, and her mother died in a car crash the summer before she turned sixteen. That summer was also when Raven began to self medicate with alcohol that she got from her families liquor cabinet and willing Seniors.

Upon her mothers death, Raven went to live with her mothers parents in Columbus Ohio. They enrolled Raven at Liberty High for her junior year as she was accustomed to going to private school. Raven fit in fairly well at Liberty High, and even made a friend or two. She was able to bring her horses and her dog to Ohio with her, and getting out of her parents house has improved her mental health ever so slightly. Unfortunately, her past still haunts her every day, and her father hasn't contacted her since she moved to Ohio. He refuses to answer her calls, emails, or texts, and the one time she tried to show up at the office he had her removed by security.

Perhaps Senior year at Rosefell High could offer her a much needed silver lining.

Biography

Born in Columbus Ohio, Christian was the product of a modern day some-what arranged marriage. His mother was to inherit a multibillion dollar science research company, and his father was to be the heir to a renowned wine company. They knew each other since they were kids, and their parents only thought it was logical to make sure that they married someone 'acceptable.'

Christian was born five years into their marriage, and his sister Marianne came three years later. Christian and his sister spent most of their life being taken care of by a nanny. His parents managed to make time for all major holidays (which they considered Thanksgiving and Christmas). While their mother did her best to be as present as she could, Christian would bet money that his father never even cared.

Christians child hood was just about as plain as a rich kids life could be. He had whatever toys and tech he wanted. He got to go to fancy parties, like the ones where his mom handed out awards to the doctors. He began playing football in middle school, and earned himself a spot on the team as the running back.

Christian was never what someone would consider a problem child, though he did get detention on multiple occasions for acting up in class. Once he reached high school, there were a few suspensions for fighting - mostly due to Christian taking up for his fellow classmates.
