Ezekiel is a man who has been moulded by the world around him. Shaped by what he has seen, and by what he has done, Ezekiel is a callous and relentless operator. Were he anything less - he wouldn't have the job he has. In his line of work as an Eraser he has witnessed death, and he has been death. Such experiences, as has been the case with Ezekiel, will always leave their mark on a man. To those around him, he is reserved, aloof and never fully at-ease.
This was not always the case, however. Indeed, he has undergone quite a transformation from the days of his youth. Once - he was compassionate and warm. The world is not kind to these men, and after a great tragedy shook him to the core, he was never quite the same. His line of work, soon after, became his sole obsession, and gradually shaped him into the man he is today.
Such has been his life for the past thirty years. Yet as he advances in age, recognising that his time at the top of his game is running short, Ezekiel has become somewhat more reflective. He has begun to question how his life could have been were he to follow a different path - and, most concerningly for Ezekiel, he has come to wonder whether figures from his past would recognise the man he has become. Now, more than ever, there is an opportunity of redemption for this lost soul.

As an 'Eraser', Ezekiel works directly for EuroCorp. It is his job to ensure any potential, large-scale problems for the corporation are properly 'handled'. This can be anything from silencing a whistle-blower, to ensuring an EPA Investigation follows the correct route. For an 'Eraser' - the interests of EuroCorp are their only priority.

In Ezekiel, it is possible to observe the man he once was through his diminishing physique. What were once broad shoulders have atrophied through neglect, a fact that is particularly apparent when he is not in uniform. Once, he stood at a relatively tall 6"2, though his back now arches ever-so-slightly into a default slump that leaves him likely closer to 6"1. Clearly, had you seen the man even five years ago, his athleticism and stamina would have been evident.
His large build remains however, and it is clear the man can still give out a strong punch, and take one, but the combination of alcohol and age has finally taken its toll on his physique. His hair and beard were once likely kept neatly trimmed, though these days appears rugged and unkempt. Shades of grey dominate the hair on his head, with only a few hairs of what was once auburn-brown remaining.

Now 52 years of age, Ezekiel was born in 2143. His family were reasonably wealthy, affording spacious accomodation in DST-4. Most of this income came from his mother, who worked in a bureaucratic role for the primary mega-corporation in the region, EuroCorp. His father was something of a failed scientist - constant looking to innovate and become the founder of the latest 'revolution' in hologram technology, an area in which he specialised. Something of a pipe dream, it would turn out, and the family was certainly lucky to have a breadwinner by way of their mother to pay the bills as their father floundered in his study. His early childhood was somewhat unremarkable, however, and despite the occasional arguments over his mothers insistence that their father find a 'real job', it was peaceful, too. On paper, it seemed he was likely to follow a career path similar to that of his mother. He was well-cared for, enjoyed a higher-than-average standard of living, and was plagued by no real troubles during his childhood. Ultimately, however, his path could not have strayed further.
Indeed, as Ezekiel grew into a man, he became frustrated with his closed-off and comfortable lifestyle. As many children do, he wanted to rebel. He wanted to be different from what his parents had expected of him. So it became, then, that he dropped the idea of attending higher education that would set him down the corporate path, and instead applied to join the Europa Policing Authority in the year 2161 not long after his eighteenth birthday. It was fast-paced, dangerous, and entirely the opposite of what his academic parents had envisioned. To Ezekiel, it was perfect. Soon after joining the EPA, whilst on an 'initiation night-out' with a few of his colleagues, he met Emmeline. Petite, beautiful, and smart. She was studying and training to become a veterinarian, as he learned during a lengthy first-conversation during the course of the night, and after several successful follow-up nights out together, they began dating. It was his first serious relationship - but for the two of them, the connection was clear. Both adventurous, fun-loving, and compassionate with a genuine desire to improve the world around them, their personalities complimented one another perfectly. Even his parents came to approve of his joining the EPA, reasoning that he would not have met Emmeline had he otherwise pursued higher education.
Life continued for the happy couple - and in four years they had not only moved in together, but Emmeline had successfully become a Junior Veterinarian, and Ezekiel had been lined-up for promotion to the reputable B-Unit of the EPA by the age of 24. He was a young prospective candidate - handpicked for his effort, but most importantly, his skill. Particularly with sidearm weaponry, Ezekiel had proven his prowess at the gun-range, and on the beat in more than his fair share of dangerous situations. Undoubtedly aiding his selection was the disaster of 2162, which saw masses of android units fall into a murderous frenzy. The event, brutal and disturbing, naturally led to an expansion of the B-Unit team, of which Ezekiel was apart. He would go on to complete a further two years of specialist training, followed by another year shadowing an agent of B-Unit before becoming an official member of the elite team at 27 years old.
Not long after turning 27, though, his life would be rocked by terrible tragedy. Since the successful hack of the Global Mainframe in 2162 that led to the disastrous and bloody events that followed, many hackers had attempted to replicate the hack, albeit on a smaller scale. One such attack would leave Ezekiel forever changed. Enjoying his promotion to B-Unit, and logging extra hours, he responded to a call concerning a suspicious android unit outside Shinzei Veterinarians. Alarmingly for Ezekiel - this was the vet that employed his long-time partner, Emmeline.
By the time he had arrived - there was nothing to be done. The android, sent rogue along with several others across Europa in a seemingly-random small-scale attack, massacred the inhabitants with chilling ease. Recorded footage from the security systems installed showed the unit mercilessly tossing clients against walls, murdering the staff, and exterminating the animals. It was a bloodbath, that had also resulted in the death of two EPA Officers responding to the call, who had arrived before Ezekiel.
The most gruesome and distressing of the events, however, was Ezekiel witnessing his partner and soul-mate, Emmeline, attempt in vain to barricade the door to the operations room near the rear of the building that sheltered her, and several others Witnessing such an event would undoubtedly change any man - and for Ezekiel, his reason for being had extinguished. With the android having shut-down after receiving several bullet-wounds from the two officers before murdering them, he found himself directing his rage at another. The hacker.
Being granted bereavement leave by the EPA - Ezekiel instead used this time to successfully track down, and extract a torturous revenge on the hacker, who turned out to be a 21 year old man ‘developing his cyber-skills’. It was that display that would lead to his recruitment directly by EuroCorp, and he was approached as a potential candidate to become an ‘Eraser’ for the mega-corporation. His acceptance of this offer, while in his state of grief and despair, ultimately changed his path forever. He was given the handle of 'Agent Phoenix', and his life as an Eraser began.
Ezekiel used the work as a means of diverting attention from the tragedy he had witnessed - devoting himself to the work and drinking excessively during his free-time to forget the past. This eventually became habit, and has had considerable consequences on his physique in the present day. For despite having earned his reputation as one of the leading agents of the EuroCorp, one of the most ruthless and effective ‘Erasers’, the prime of Ezekiel has passed.
Now, he finds himself in a downward spiral as the consequences of alcohol and age take their hold on his ailing body.

These two MK4-VAMP ballistic pistols have been with the agent through thick-and-thin, and can be equipped with silencers for operations that require a stealthier approach. Typically, they fire heavier rounds that will certainly leave a mark. On the side of the pistols is a small digital display that handily highlights the number of rounds remaining. A small, but powerful LED Flashlight rests below the muzzle.

Requisitioned specially by EuroCorp from one of the leading manufacturers of laser weaponry, in order to supply their elite agents and operatives of B-Unit, this NODE-MKII laser rifle is particularly effective. Only used by Agent Pheonix in situations such as raids, or operations which have failed the 'quieter' approach, this rifle can reportedly fire six-hundred shots before the battery needs to be changed. For changing the battery itself, there is an easy-access component on the stock of the rifle that allows for the quick change of a battery unit.

This works by, when the baton makes physical contact with a target, hitting the target with a one-off high-voltage spike of electric current to render them unconscious. The stun function of the baton requires time to charge after each use.

This armour, worn regularly by Agent Phoenix, is a standard for the few 'Erasers' and Agents under the employment of EuroCorp.
Certainly, working for EuroCorp has its benefits, and one of the most obvious of these is the readily available access to cutting edge technologies that will give a much-needed edge in the constantly progressing, cybernetic world. Similar to B-Unit in the EPA, Erasers and EuroCorp Agents are afforded access to the latest advancements in EuroCorp technology. For this standard uniform, underneath the corporate suit itself is a body-covering, slim exoskeleton of a deep black colour. It is of a synthetic material that not only allows for flexibility, but acts as an absorbent to shock that helps to protect the wearer from ballistic weaponry, while new-model heat-sinks are installed throughout to guard against less conventional laser weaponry. As is the case with all exoskeletons, however, there is only so much sustained attack any suit can take. It is designed not for prolonged combat, but for engagements that suit the fast-paced combat style of the Agent.
On top of this slim bodysuit, an expensive and spotless suit is worn. The cleanliness and pristine nature of this uniform often stands out in the environment, and the uniform is standard across all Erasers.
