What do the others on the expedition know of your character after six months of being cooped up on a boat?

What is known currently about Vyce is that he is an Esper that has mastered swordsmanship, is the First Mate, mastered Lightning Magic, married to Aria, defeated previous Sword Saint to earn his nickname, and hates elves.

Moral Alignment

Selflessness:
Vyce is complicated in that he will risk his life for others at anytime but only if there is something for him at the end of the road. He believes that he doesn’t need a reason to help someone but it would be nice if they compensated him.

Snobbery:
After the many , many years that Vyce has lived, he truthfully understands what it means to be a peasant and the life at the top of the world. He does not discount anyone due to their wealth or lack of but instead how they act. In that regard, naivety makes him want to slice your throat.

Racist Tendencies:
If any race truly pierces his tolerance then it is the elves and their snobbish nature. He cannot stand how they treat other races as beneath them, harboring a holier then thou attitude, equating even his own race as horrific scars of nature. Plus their unqiue beauty is irritating upon his eyes. He’d rather kill one then stand beside them.

The fuck is a God and how do I steal it’s valuables?

Justice:
Wronging Vyce brings about a vengeance that the Esper will almost never let go, depending on the wrong doing. You steal his gold, he steals your entire fortune. You betray him, he slits your throat. You harm his wife, he’ll make sure you live in torture until you die..slowly. Violence is his favorite option.

Sexist Tendencies:
Vyce doesn’t care whatsoever. At times he can act as though women can’t do what men can do and they are bad luck at sea but most of the time he treats women just like he does men. This also means he’ll stab them in their throat just the same.

Combat

Main Skills:
Master Swordsmanship Specialist: Vyce has trained in the arts of the sword from a very young age and is considered to be an exceedingly skilled swordsman. The greatest strength of his swordsmanship is his ability to adapt to varying situations and he has trained himself to become ambidextrous so as to make himself more versatile. His fighting style consists of graceful and quick movements and he prefers finishing his fights quickly rather than dragging them on. Not one to make use of pure brute, he tries to deal accurate blows and perform quick maneuvers. He is also a master of battōjutsu, the art where drawing of the blade is the same motion used for the attack.

Lightning Magic: Vyce is manifestation of the element of lightning, which he has mastered to such a degree, that it has become a defining attribute by which people identify him by. Being his signature magical element, he has shown great mastery and possesses incredible control over it, being able to summon lightning from almost any source, be it from his own body or from nature itself, making no difference what so ever. He has demonstrated the ability to control the direction and behavior of lightning, as well as being able to set a predetermined course for his lightning techniques to attack, and even redirect energy based attacks from his opponents. Erik is able to manipulate lightning into various shapes and size, as well as into various forms and constructs, these include shooting arcs of lightning from his hands, shaping it into the form of a thunder bolt, a condensed ball of electrical energy, or even electric sparks that can latch onto an opponent’s body. Throughout the years Vyce has spent a great deal of time developing his ability to manipulate lightning, and as a result has created several lightning based techniques. Because he has mastered the principles of lightning manipulation, he is able to invoke a spell without much difficulty.

Secondary Skills:
When relinquished of his many blades and magical reserves near empty, Vyce relies upon his adept skill in hand to hand. Years have passed since the moment he’s had to outright kick a man, keeping his swords at the ready for the many occasion. Just that if he needs to then Vyce is prepared for a hand to hand battle (that he’d probably lose).

Primary Weapon:
Zabuza: Six identical blades. All Zabuza swords were forged out of Magic Metal, a unique material that possesses unique qualities. To forge one, an assortment of hard and soft pieces was selected, and form these the spine of the weapon was forged. The softer steel, to make the weapon flexible and able to absorb kinetic shock and what would become the blade (from the harder steel, for obvious reasons of sharpness and durability). All of the pieces were folded and hammered back out several times, making the steel of the sword layered, giving it superior physical properties. In addition, the blade steel was twisted together from two layered rods. Then, the blade and the spine were forged together while hot and meticulously crafted into the desired shape. The entire process would normally take days to weeks. The smiths only worked by night to be able to judge the current state of the heated metal by its color. At this stage the weapon was black, rough and unadorned. The smiths would continue etching more decorative designs into the blade, filing, scraping and polishing it, and finally fashioning a grip, a scabbard. When used, the blade of the sword give off an iridescent sheen, like that of a butterfly's wings.

Secondary Weapon:
His magic is considerably his back up but, as stated before he can use his body as a weapon.

Hidden/Stored Weapons:
Vyce keeps a tanto hidden just in case nothing else is working.

Passive/Suppport

Main Skills:
So much time has been dedicated to thievery, navigation/tracking, and acrobatics that Vyce could not bare to live without such things. A pirate’s life calls for certain skills. To add, Vyce's body is largely different from a normal man, lacking certain vital organs as his body runs off magic allowing him to heal injuries at an accelerated rate.

Secondary Skills:
Cooking provides an adequate amount of help when the crew lacks a cook and he can even sew up the crew’s torn clothes when needed.

Items of Note:
A compass, map, and a silver coin that he describes as his lucky charm.

Achlies’ Heel:
So many years have bloated Vyce’s head into sheer overconfidence in his abilities that often lead to complications and problems. These complications have been known to run out his subpar magical stamina. Lastly all rational thought and cohesive plans go out the window if his wife is in danger. Her safety is greater then any other objective.

Magic use carries a simple principle in this RP, perhaps I didn't explain it well enough.The bigger the spell, the bigger the life drain on the caster.The more frequent the casting, the more exhausted the caster. As wizards and mages train, they'll find ways to reduce the drain of their spells, and make them more efficient. Everyone else is welcome to jump in here, I sense that it may be a hot topic. I thought my interpretation was preferable to the idea of 'mana', but what say you all?

Welp my idea is similar to Espers from FF6 or other mediums that utilize beings that are the physical representation of magic except in this case the elements. Ironically I named them Espers in homage but mine is one of the air Espers that is manifestation of the wind itself, magically of-course.
