Hey remember when this site didn't have 3 tabs in the IC threads? Crazy.

I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

@tex Mostly what I try to look out for is auto-hitting against important characters and players' characters. It's a complete buzzkill to the act and react I enjoy. If someone can't react why the hell are they even writing with other people? Eh, this is just kind of carrying on a rant, heh.

Anyways I didn't post a CS mostly because I couldn't think of anything right now. Which is why I'm still here. Nothing wrong with you guys. It's entertaining and will definitely get better. I'm just biding time and doing other things.

Plus I love criticism on an almost masochistic level. It's how I get better.

Ah, well then I'll be sure to keep that in mind. You seem like a pretty dedicated/straightforward fellow. Those kinds o' people are hard to come by.

*SHAMELESSLY PLUGS MY OTHER RP IN SIGNATURE LEL*
@Necrophage Tis the free section, after all. I'd considered putting this in the casual section at one point, but ehhh.

Still, I do try to adhere to the requests/interests of anyone joining in on my RPs. People often don't have much input though, and would prefer to jump onto one of the many other RPs rather than invest themselves in trying to actually finish a story. I'm certainly guilty of this, but my reasons for leaving often come from a lack of chemistry with the other players.

Maybe people are just afraid offending GMs? Idk, I'd prefer to get some feedback and improve the experience for everyone rather than have people jump ship because X reason that they'd prefer not to specify.

Because y'know, people can't take criticism without rolling up into a ball of self deprecation or something.
@josephb Sorry for like disappearing/the lazy post. For the record, I hate collabs and will never submit to one, probably.

@this whole argument: Lel
Alex Teixeira

Alex nodded again, and again, promptly pulling himself away from the door and leaving it shut behind him as he took off in a hurry. Through the overgrown yard, and across the broken stone walkway, he pushed past the front gate and noticed Walter eyeing the house curiously just as Alex had emerged. "Walter!" He hissed underneath his breath before jogging over to his friend, "Where are the others?" Alex looked Walter over, forgetting that he was still holding his pistol. Thankfully the safety was still on, he had no reason to take it off in the first place, to be fair. "I found a place, see?" he said, with a hint of joy in his voice. Walter had always been a kind soul to him, and the others in their group, it was always a pleasure to speak with him or Ethan over most others. Very few were comfortable with his accent prior to the break-out, which was perfectly understandable. The language barrier was never easy for him to overcome despite his excellent performance in the education system. Truth was, Alex never really wanted to overcome it. "There's a woman inside, with her baby.."
Diver's Paradise

Northern Area

The Divers from all around the paradise, especially the north end, began pouring into the main square, tearing through CMAS officials with reckless abandon, shrinking their numbers greatly. They were however, vastly outnumbered. But with Alvios around, numbers would mean very little to the ignorant Soldiers of the CMAS corps. Regardless, the south eastern pillar was already in danger of going down. Flames from another fire-based squadron, almost identical to the two that perished in the north, burned into the stone and tore away at its foundation slowly but surely. These squads were more organized than the rest of the CMAS mages, who seemed to seek nothing but destruction and chaos among the various locations in Diver's Paradise.

Several CMAS soldiers eventually surrounded Par and his group of Divers, singling them out as one of the many larger, organized threats. Every last CMAS soldier seemed to be elementally attuned, firing bolts of ice, fire, and electricity at Par and his Diver allies from all directions, with reckless abandon. The goal was simply to overpower them with sheer numbers and force.

Ulimani Crags

Several kilometers away from Divers Paradise: Southern Entrance

Luke had been sprinting for several minutes at his top speed (Far faster than Jenso, who'd decided to follow him) but the continued stress on his legs, and artificial heart, had nearly drained him of all his stamina. He needed a few minutes to catch his breath, if anything. This was more than enough time to allow Jenso to catch up, just before Luke was preparing to make the final stretch across the dangerous jutting chasms that made up his home, the Ulimani Crags.

Xena Rock Field

Underneath the Lone Tree

Brian slowly tilted his head towards the ground as Onweer started talking again. He wasn't there because he wanted to be. Nobody was, really. At least, that's what he thought. Who would willingly delve into No-man's-land? It was his decision, though. Money made Arcadia go 'round, as the saying went, and without the proper funding, his daughter was as good as dead. Brian almost didn't hear what Onweer had said about Divers protecting their homeland, or rather, didn't acknowledge it as truth. He'd never heard that before, only shouts and cries of how ignorant and stupid they were, living outside the safety of a nation. The only thing that came to mind when he heard 'Diver' was how selfish they were. But maybe she was right about their agreement on one simple fact, No-man's-land was their only freedom to take pride in. But how was project S-S even an invasion on that? There was so much land that went unexplored! Surely they could cope with losing a fraction of a fraction of it? None of it made sense to Brian. Of course it didn't, he wasn't a Diver, nor did he care about their opinions or goals. Onweer's words were somewhat reassuring, regardless. Even if Yvette wasn't a traitor to their people, he didn't want to be part of this mission any longer, and if the opportunity for him to flee safely was what Onweer was offering, he would gladly ally herself with her. Brian didn't address any of her points, how could he? The man could barely talk despite what little respite he was granted. So he just nodded in agreement, returning her kindness with a subtle smile.

"That's good, uh- It's a good idea. I would like to assure you of my prowess, but the truth is, I've little to offer. I can't fight at all," He croaked, going over the details in his palm with one finger, "I'm practically just a giant eye."
Whoa who's that guy he's craaaazy
The strange looking man rose to his feet in an instant upon being questions, smiling from ear to ear. His shaggy black hair obscured most of his face, but it was easy to tell that he was ecstatic to have been acknowledged. "Simple, my friend! I'm keeping myself from being a nuisance, these are my handcuffs! Ahahaha!" The man then sauntered out of the room like a maniac, casually stepping past August, Croma, and the unconscious Marine with little regard for the situation. As he made his way towards the exit, he screamed something in a joyful tone that everyone on the ship would hear:

"Wee-Hee-Hee-Hee! Somebody's standing up to the Silver Slugs! What a joyous day it is to be me, or anyone, for that matter! What fun, what fun!"
Thoris, The Ocean Shore

I still don't like your friend..

"First of all," The woman said calmly, shifting the bottom of her stick against the sand, "MY NAME IS GREZOLA!!!" Wow! Neither Lark or Jenso got it right? What the hell was he thinking though? God-ZILLA? "Second of all, I'M THE ONE WHO SAW THE PROPHECY, AND SHE~EE WASN'T IN IT!" She stressed, pointing at Ainra was she hung on the word 'She' for a second or two. "But, I suppose it can't be helped. Whatever! Whateeeevver! You need to know how the map of fates works? That's easy!" Grezola turned to the ocean and rose her stick. "You merely need to read it!"

...Wow...

Krunk-Mobile, Prisoner Bay

Arriving on site~~~

One after another, the Krunklets were filled with an ever-growing feeling of shame as they were used as mere foot-holds by the escaped Red-mage. Dr. Krink began steaming with rage. "ALL KRUNKLETS, PROCEED TO THE HOLDING ROOM POST-HASTE!"

*BING*~*BONG*

"Attention all passengers! The Krunk-mobile will be pulling into Lord Krunk's driveway momentarily! Please fasten your seatbelts or whatever-the-heck you're using to brace yourselves for the arrival, Thank~~~You~~~!"

*BING*~*BONG*

...So anyways, in the Holding room...

Zerraf was met with an even larger array of tied up prisoners, some not even captured in Newjinsland, and others who weren't even human! What could the Krunk Legion possibly want with these people? Hell, did Zerraf even know he was aboard a Krunk-Legion vessel? Did he even CARE? Probably not, nobody ever cares about the Krunk legion. It's probably the main reason as to why they're such assholes.
@Whimsley In this case it's fine, but in the future, try to be a little more reserved about creating new areas in the setting, such as the HOLDING ROOM/Second story which were not mentioned prior.

Oh right, it's also fine to autohit step-soldiers like krunklets, but I'm sure you're already aware that more elite enemies shouldn't suffer the same fate.

I'm good with this fruit, as long as you can't go around eating other devil fruit users and absorbing their powers, lel.

I'd say 5-10 minutes per consumed item is fine, but he should be limited by his appetite. E.G. he can't just keep eating forever if he has an endless supply of stuff to devour. Although he should obviously have a larger stomach than normal people (By a significant degree) there's always gotta be a limit.

Accepted, pop it in the character's tab.
