People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

Jenso's fist passed through the man like he was a phantom, and he chuckled. "Please, relax. I'm not going to hurt you, hell, I couldn't even if I wanted to," He said, in a refreshingly sane tone of voice. Considering the attitude and composure of these masked people, it was strange to find one that seemed... Normal. "Don't be scared, you're merely dreaming. I've just managed to connect our souls, through a rather uh.. haha, groundbreaking coincidence. My name is Nexus," the man smiled under his mask. Looking closer, his left eye was actually not glowing nearly as brightly as his right. In fact, it looked like a normal, blue eye. That part of his mask was also torn off, down his cheek, like something had ripped it open. His skin was white, and he seemed rather young.

"And you are?"
Ezekial shook his head, but shared Mikhael's concern for Lucas' well being, and the handicap that he posed. "If it is a magic based in illusion, or attacking the mind in some drastic way or another, the only way to undo it is with equally powerful mental magic. That, or Lucas himself would have to overpower the grasp on his body, which for him, a knight inept at arcana, would be impossible," Ezekial explain. He watched closely as Mikhael notched the passing trees. Hopefully this would keep them from going in circles, but Ezekial was making sure that their path remained true to the best of his abilities. If they were to truly make a circle in the endless trees, it would take hours, if not days. Hopefully the woods did not go on for much longer, though. They had left their comrades behind to fend for themselves. Surely, this could not end well if they dawdled. He remained silent when Mikhael spoke again, for nearly a minute.

"Maya tells me that the Tear's corruption is dormant within us all, and reacts to our body's ability to harness the Arcane. She's told me many things during our time together," Ezekial paused and shook his head, "Though I may not know as much as she, my knowledge is vast. Please, do not hesitate to ask if you must know. I understand that it is frightening, Maya thought it so as well, but this journey is not only for the people of Kale. It is for you."
Tentative interest.
@RyuShura The room you are in is not currently enchanted or anything, it just looked similar to a silencing chamber. Silencing is a permanent ritual that seals a person's arcane network off at their spine.
We're doin it.

We're about to hit page two in less than a month.

Good shit.
Diver's Paradise, Lower Cavern

@Rekaigan@Rune_Alchemist@Empath

Yvette narrowed her eyes at Lila, but could not deny her own mistake. The stress must have gotten to her. It was such a simple detail to overlook, and it was foolish to assume that the patrons of the paradise would be able to put two and two together. She sighed and looked to Mira, who also questioned her thought process, while exchanging words with her apparent friend. Yvette cleared her throat and nodded curtly.

"Forgive my blunder, my recent trails have put a damper on my logistics. I am Yvette Eridal, a CMAS official. Or I should say, ex-official. I'm sure to have been stripped of my rank and smeared by the head counsel, at this point," Yvette explained briefly. She glanced at the two girls again and then towards Luke's head office of sorts that sat against the northern wall of his paradise. "I am here to speak with Luke. My insight on recent events is limited as well, though I could infer by the... Bodies, that the paradise had fallen under siege prior to my arrival, under the command of Sydney Duvell. Why or how, that's beyond my understanding, which is why I'm off to speak with the Diver heads," Yvette turned away from the girls for a moment and pointed herself in the direction of the Head Diver's quarters, "Posthaste." She turned back to the girls and nodded once again. Her expression retained its serious demeanor, devoid of a smile, and ever-guided by her desire for information. She glanced at Mira for a second longer before nodding once more to the both of them. "Might I ask your names before I take my leave, ladies?"

Diver's Paradise, Western Entrance

@Rekaigan

The surrounding Divers stepped back in amazement, but couldn't believe their eyes. There weren't many Divers well versed in healing magic, let alone alchemy. It was strange to see somebody dealing with the man's issue with such success. Perhaps even strange enough to rouse suspicion, if this were Arcadia, anyways. One of the women who carried the deathly man rushed over to Oswyn and knelt by the unconscious Diver's side. She turned back to the supposed savior with anxiety welling up in her eyes.

"Will he really be ok?" She asked, desperately clinging to the unconscious man's hand, "That other man, he was attacked around the same time, and died only a few minutes ago, how can you be so sure?" Two of the other divers nodded to one another and began making their way down the ramp. The woman looked back at them and grit her teeth, but knew it was for the best.

"We're going to tell Luke about this!" they shouted, waving their friends off. All the while, the unconscious man's body was trying it best to keep itself tied to the world of the living. Unbeknownst to those without Ki detection, his soul had been drained nearly to the point of vanishing. If it weren't of Oswyn's charity, he would have been dead in just a few more minutes.

Zentai Mountains, Southern Plains

The colossal explosion shook the earth for quite a ways, but the visuals were far more telling than the subtle vibrations that stretched for at least a kilometer. For the curiously passerby, and most certainly the trio of cloaked men, it was a literal magnet for attention. As the dust and smoke erupted beyond the concealment of Zentai's outcropping, The head of the cloaked brigade spun towards it in an instant. Their progress stopped, and within moments, all three of the men were on their way towards Elisa's hiding spot- What was left of it, anyways.

It didn't take them long to reach the cracked stones and gnarled dirt. The two concealed man proceeded past their supposed leader, who looked at the destruction through a pair of smokey white eyes. His skin was pale, and his hair was white, almost like his very soul had been forcefully ripped from his body. Despite his watchful gaze however, he could not yet detect Elise through the cascade of smoke and dust. He'd heard the sound of stone against metal, however. Something unnatural was hiding in their. Something man made. And where there were man-made mechanisms, humans soon followed.
@Empath There is no schedule. You can post as much as you'd like, as long as you allow people a reasonable opportunity to post if they're interacting with you.
@Greenguy Lmao, accepted ma bro.
The man shook in place and fell forward, floating as he tumble around, and face Jenso, up-side-down. His face was covered in a black mask, identical to Prisma's, Ada's, and Shadra's. His eyes glowed a neon blue, however, different from the colors he'd seen so far.

"Wah-?!" He grunted, spinning himself right-side-up, and floating towards Jenso. "It... Worked?"
"Apology accepted," Zelrian said, dropping his guard and walking toward Lystra, with an insane shift in mood. "Now," Zelriane reached out and held his palm upwards, "Please give me that shield." Kalen looked at Zelriane in horror, and then to Lystra, nodding. He didn't know anything about her shiny circle of metal, and he didn't care. But even if Lystra was perfectly fine with handing over her newly acquired defense, the shield itself wasn't so willing. Warmth sprouted from within the recesses of the hand-held barrier, surging through her arm in bouts. And then, a voice struggled to reach out for Lystra's mind.

'No'

"Though I am a patient man, I would prefer that you do not dawdle. Please, hand it over."

'Do not'
